We had a large group of 8 or 9 and they we very accommodating to us. Our servers were very knowledgeable and wonderful to talk with. The food was amazing and cooked just right. Overall, we all had an amazing experience.
Was great food. Seafood was awesome! Highly recommended! If ever back travelling through Atlanta will stop again.
We have enjoyed our Anniversary dinners here the past three years and this is the first time that we didn't get a special dessert even after we were greeted at the front door with Happy Anniversary. Other that this the occasion was great as the Lobster Bisque was perhaps the best we have ever had. The Shrimp and Grits had a very Rich Flavor and the daily fish special Sea Bass with Crab Meat over Mashed was perfect.
Great service. Good gumbo. Very good tender sweet lobster tail. Good mushroom side. Not so good (stale fishy) lobster risotto and different (not bad)key lime pie. The macadamia crust was a nice surprise in the pie but it just did not do it for me
Food and service was good. Decor seemed plain compared to Rays on the River. I also wasn't expecting the $20 valet fee to park. Guess that was my fault for not asking about the parking situation ahead of time.
Great Food, great atmosphere . I took my wife and kids for her birthday. It was wonderful. I highly recommend it!
This restaurant was amazing, the seafood was phenomenal, service was outstanding and they have different areas sectioned off so you could enjoy a romantic dinner, while others enjoy a beer at the bar in the other room. Highly recommend it!
Had a wonderful experience. Took my girlfriend for our anniversary and she especially loved it because of the New Orleans style of food. Reminded her of home
The Atmosphere was soothing and enjoyable. A great place to celebrate my 12yr anniversary❤
9:30 reservation and they were overbooked. The wait time was too long so we left. Having to find another place that late at night was a real inconvenience.
Great Location. Convenient. Great food. Uber dropped us off right at the door.
The place is beautiful, good music and excellent food.
Food and service was great. My only complaint was my lobster tail was pretty small and dry. The rest of my dish was excellent.
The food is great and they have a very good wine selection. However, the customer service, specifically from Janice is what keeps us coming back. If you do go, make sure to ask for Janice, you will not be disappointed.
This place had some of the best food and presentation I have experience. Everything I requested was the made the way I asked. Food was quick, drinks were great. Will definitely be returning
I am a huge fan of Rays Killer Creek and Rays at the River. I was highly disappointed when we walked in expecting amazing and food. The restaurant looked dirty. We were seated in front of a fire exit. Our server was rude and did not smile even once! The food was nothing to write home about. The worse part is I recommended the restaurant to a client who was in town with family! Will never return!!
My wife and I had been looking forward to eating at Rays in the City. Had a nice martini then ordered steak and lobster. All was good until we got our food with an obvious 5 inch hair in the potatoes. Manager told us they didn't have any blonde staff. We hadn't even touched anything yet. Instant loss of appetite and romance. Wish they had seen it first. Guess we find another place to look forward to. Check the plates please.
My waitress was awesome! She was knowledgeable of the menu. I didn't have to ask for anything. Crab cakes were amazing. I was really impressed. We will definitely return.
It took over ten minutes for us to be greeted by our waiter but at least he was somewhat attentive and friendly. Our drinks and appetizers were the highlight of our meal. The raw oysters and oysters Rockefeller were excellent. Our main entrees were a big let down. We had the rib eye and grouper for our entree. The grouper was fair but the lobster risotto had a pungent smell and had to be sent back. My ribeye was cooked properly but the flavor was disappointing and it was extremely tough. I did not send the steak back because I was extremely hungry but I really should have let our waiter know. I just did not want to put a damper on our evening. Needless to say, we were very disappointed since we heard good things about the food and service at Ray’s. In addition to issues with the food and service the ladies restroom was a mess. My wife had to inform the hostess that the restroom really needed attention. Maybe next time we will try another location but I doubt if we will return here.
Our waiter seemed to be a lil rude, food was just ok and over cooked. For the money def not worth it!! This is not my first time there but probably my last.
We had a fantastic time at Ray's. Our server was professional and attentive. Food quality and quantity great. Loved the praline basket for dessert. A must when in Atlanta!
Enjoyed the jazz, food and cocktails. Can't really go wrong
Bobby was great! We had a wonderful dinner. I would definitely dine here again
Date night before the real date at the Fox Theatre. Prix Fixe menu left a little to be desired compared to Rays regular menu but all in all it was a great night out!
Me and the wife had the Valentine's dinner tonight at Rays. It. Was. Amazing! 4 courses of deliciously prepared greatness. I had the calamari, seafood gumbo, 22 oz prime rib and the praline basket. Wife had the calamari, ceasar salad, 20 oz new york strip, and chocolate ganash cake. We normally arent huge eaters but we ate almost every bite. Hats of to the chef! And our waiter Bobby!
Rays always turns out good service and cuisine. I think it is very pricey, but probably worth it as well. I had the Volcano sushi roll....was just average and I had the Salmon Oscar with sauce on the side...that was above average. I sat at the bar and watched the olympics....bar tender Josh was very good. Cheapest glass of wine was $11.00....I thought that was over priced as well for the selections....many of those selections would normally be 8.50-9.50 in other locations.
Overall...can't go wrong here if you have a few extra dollars to spend and want a quality experience.
Great Management team and very helpful for a large party. Thanks again!
Great lunch prepared perfectly with great service Salmon BLTwas prepared Med rare and was exceptional
Great time, great service. Alex and crew served our group and did an excellent job. The live music was also great.
