   Weekend trip to Atlanta and we found Ray’s in the City through Open Table. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend the Warm Lemon Butter Cake for dessert! The service was also excellent. Highly recommend!

   I had a steak, medium which was cooked perfectly and very good. My wife had halbut, which she loved. I thought it was a little dry, but I don't think I've had halibut before. Maybe that's just the way it is? I got a side of Brussels sprouts and cauliflower with the steak, which was kind of a letdown. It was tough to find options for my diet restrictions (gluten and dairy). Other high end places have been able to work around that better. Service was great - I got the impression it was the kitchen that was inflexible. Overall, it was very good, but selections were not as creative as I would expect at that price so the value was just ok. At that price, I feel like everything should be fantastic.

   I expect much better service and quality when paying the premium this restaurant is. The pimento cheese fritters had far too much honey or syrup on them so the balance was way off. My trout was overcooked. Our soup came out with 2 min of our starter hitting the table. Servers shouldn’t t pressure you for your whole order if they’re not capable or willing to course out your meal. Again, when you spend $150 for dinner for two people without alcohol, I expect more.

    The host need to learn better customer service. All three of the ladies were non welcoming & rude. I was on time for my reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes to be sat.

    Dined for Mothers Day 2023, reservation only and we still waited 45 mins to be seated and for $80.00 per person the service was horrible. Not once did my waitress say “happy Mother’s Day” just poorly executed.. Rays on the river was much better.

    Food was good. Service was bad and they ran out of spoons so they gave us forks to eat melted ice cream. This location is probably the worst of the three.

    Our server was very nice. Unfortunately for him, he was very busy, although they had other people walking around. We were never asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks or another glass of wine. The dinner was $85 per person and you had to share it with everyone at your table. It wasn’t much food when you divided it amongst your party. We spent $40 for valet parking and $300 + on food but were not fully satisfied. The food was good but the experience outweighed it.

    First ordered some premium lamb and it was cold. I ordered medium but it was very well done! They took it back and bring another piece of thing which was the same, super duper well done! Worst piece of meat ever… Asked for some salt, took 45 min to have it. Asked for water, took 35min to have it. We get out dessert to go. It was something with banana!!! I don’t even know what it was! Looked terrible, taste terrible…it looked like leftovers… I paid $$$ for that things and never going back…

    We’re gay. The hosts and servers were very friendly and welcoming on our anniversary night. They treated us to a complimentary champagne toast. The steaks were melt in your mouth perfect. Our cocktails were on point. Service is impeccable. We’re coming back

    We had an absolutely fantastic birthday dinner here! Our server, Dante, was outstanding! The food does really live up to the hype. Come with deep pockets and a handsome tip because it is well worth it. Thanks Dante and thank you Ray's in the City! I recommend the cold seafood tower and any streak as well as any side, especially the lobster mac and cheese.

    Great evening with great service. Food was top notch. I had the jumbo lump crab cakes. They were full of meat, not stuffing. Our server was excellent. Only complaint was that it was a little warm inside the restaurant…I’ll definitely come back for another dinner at Ray’s in the City. 5 ⭐️ all around. 👍🏾👍🏾

    Not worth the price. We ordered the oysters, the wedge salad, and the tomahawk with cauliflower flower and brussel sprouts. The oysters and salad were good and as expected. The tomahawk and sides were brought out before we finished our salads. We had to wait for dinner plates. The tomahawk was cooked poorly; it was somehow charred on the outside, grey on the outer, and raw in the center. There was silver skin that hadn’t been removed. Also from the time we checked in, were seated, ordered, served, and ate it was just shy of an hour. We felt rushed the entire time and left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
