Couldn’t get reservations until 8:00 so went early and finally got a seat at the bar. Service was great. Drinks were great. Overall very nice dining experience.

I was excited to try this restaurant. We were greeted and sat rather quickly for the 7:45 reservation. Once arriving to our table it was a warm welcome from our waiter. We placed our drink orders and once drinks arrived we placed our appetizers and entrees order. At 8:58 pm we still had not received our appetizers. We received apologies from our waiter then around 9:30 we received our food. I ordered the surf and turf and requested my steak temperature medium. When I received my filet it was overcooked and I had to send it back not once but twice bc of it being cooked nearly well. I had eaten my lobster with my sides (creamed spinach was bland) but by the time I got the third medium filet it’s now 10 pm. I just asked for it to go. The manager eventually came over to apologize for the service for and said this was unusual for the restaurant. He did comp our appetizers but honestly I feel my surf and turf should have been comp because I was unable to enjoy my full meal. Our waiter did his best but the kitchen service was honestly unacceptable.

The food and the service were simply outstanding. Great wine & Bourbon selection, and the Redfish Pontchartrain is absolutely amazing. Aaron was a very, very good server too!

The service was outstanding. However, I was disappointed in the she crab soup. It could have been creamier with more crab and it was salty. No crackers or bread accompanied the soup. I had the salmon Oscar blackened per the waiters suggestion, which added flavor. There were only two unseasoned asparagus spheres, which were hard on the ends for $31. There wasn't anything special about the presentation, but tasted good. I was expecting a dish worthy of the price.

We celebrated my husband’s 60th birthday at Ray’s. The dining experience was great. The food was cooked to perfection. Our meals consisted of filet mignon, shrimp linguine, salmon, and butter cake for dessert. The staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Ray’s!

William was an excellent server and represented the brand well. This was my second time here and the steak au poivre was over cooked. I asked for medium rare and received medium and medium well on my steak. The flavour, however, was good and saison bien! I'll be back!
