As always, Gerald took good care of us. Good was great and service was the best!
The ambiance is attractive and upscale. The service was very good and our server was very kind to acknowledge the special occasion we were celebrating. The food was very good overall. Good quality steaks and they were cooked perfectly and tender. The only negative is that the New Orleans BBQ shrimp app was overwhelmingly salty as was the lobster tail. The steaks were heavily seasoned, but delicious.
I had a wonderful time as usual. The pimento goat cheese remains as good as ever!
Service was excellent. Bryan and Deja were so helpful and very welcoming. A credit to the staff, and beyond. Food was prepared very well. Served at the right time and excellent taste. Live music was an added plus.
Me and my wife were there to celebrate our anniversary over a nice dinner. The service was on point, nice, relaxing, and elegant. The gentleman playing the piano wasn’t doing too much as well which made it romantic. I would definitely go back again. Thank you for your service in making that night special for us.
Awesome selection and food was fantastic!!! Service was great- I highly recommend!
The food was average, had to ask server for bread. Took a while for entrees to come.
Service was great food was forgettable, nothing special feel as if I have cooked better meals.
Request for one dish were not followed no cheese on a burger so they scrapped it off in place of making as requested. I put that on the kitchen not the wait staff that was awesome. We had a great time and will try again. Sea Bass was great but all the other dishes were not good.
I went on a date here with my fiance. The service was great but the food was just okay. My steak was way under cooked and I had to send it back. It also had no seasoning and was cold when it first came out. They also brought out the wrong side the first time. One thing I can't stand is that if you are going to serve steak on the menu and charge $50.00 for it, make sure it's cooked right the first time. My fiance had to eat her meal alone while I watched. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Restaurant was ok. Lot of other steakhouses now in Alpharetta provide a better experience.
My husband and I went for our anniversary and we choose to sit outside on the patio. It was great weather and felt like we were dining in a forest, far away from the city. Our servers were Malcolm and Liz and they had the best energy. All of the food from the appetizer to dessert was flavorful and came out in perfect timing. Liz even brought out a surprise dessert and champagne for my husband and I. It was a great way to celebrate our two year wedding anniversary. I highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.
Meal, service, and atmosphere were wonderful, as always. Louann took good care of us!
Don’t waste your $ Arrived 10 min early, it was empty other than a private party, they made us wait to be seated so we decided to grab a happy hour drink after seeing a sign. I asked what was on the HH and he replies “nothing, just wine, and hands me a menu and walks away” not telling me what the wines were, nor does the menu list the HH drinks.. ** Don’t advertise HH if you aren’t willing to tell anyone what it is... I told him I’d like a twist on a Margarita cause sour gives me heartburn. I ordered tequila, lime juice, a splash of grandma and salt rim. He tells me “I got you” then proceeds to pour the premade Margarita which was exactly what I said I didn’t want. I spoke up saying its not what I ordered he replied “well that’s not a margarita, that’s tequila and lime juice.” Well no sh*t idiot, it’s what I ordered. My husband was FURIOUS (he didn’t say anything though). I still tipped him $5 on our 2 drinks even though he was by far the rudest bartender ever for this price point of a restaurant... *The website says “dress code” and no hats because it’s offensive? -your staff is offensive.. after I spent $30 to be talked back to by the bartender our table is ready. Why we didn’t leave then I don’t know.. Our server took 10 minutes to arrive but she was a pleasant breathe of fresh air. -Several food items were out of stock, my next drink comes out with no salt or lime.. - glad my $5 tip did nothing... then our server is NON EXISTENT for the rest of the night. Manager had to take my wine order AFTER my steak arrived and getting cold. THE RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY... we were there for 3 HOURS?!? Why? Such a true disappointment for our first time. The server later apologized and admitted that she did disappear. We overheard the table next to us complaining so we started talking to them and they were blown away too by how horrible their experience was. I worked in this industry for 15 years and for $230 I PROMISE YOU there are so many better places in Alpharetta than this.
Lovely dinner with good friends in a pleasant atmosphere. Service was good and the food was excellent. Definitely a great dinner option.
Wonderfully delicious as always!
After not eating out for a year, we planned a special dinner. The food was really good, however they were out of things they presented on the menu. The service was not good which was the case with the last time we ate here so long ago. Even though we had 2 servers, we waited a long time for bread even. Just a very expensive dinner which the service didn’t match (again)!
From the moment my husband I walked into Ray’s we were enthralled. From the wooden beams, and beautiful chandeliers, to the pleasant energy of the host staff, it was simply amazing. And quite surprising as the outside of this beautiful establishment don’t do the interior justice.
Chris and Johnny were our server/bartenders and they were very knowledgeable and helpful with selection choices.
My husband and I enjoyed the calamari, filet and crab cakes, cocktails and dessert.
The manager made it a point to introduce himself and ensure our service was nothing short of memorable, and for all of these reasons we look forward to visiting again. Perhaps for lunch to enjoy the patio, which looked equally as beautiful as the inside.
My experience at Ray’s was incredible. The customer service, the food, the ambiance was all top notch. Thank you to the entire team.
Great food and tremendous service. Pricey, but worth the spend.
Great night sea bass was excellent. Love the patio
Gorgeous restaurant, wonderful service, and incredible tasting food!
Great ambiance, nice and romantic. Live music and good food.
The service is excellent. The sea bass was very good. The spinach dip was good. The live music is very nice. It's nice place to take that special person for an anniversary or a birthday. Romantic, subdued lighting during the evening. With a bottle of wine, plan on spending 150 to 200 dollars for diner for two.
This was the most expensive bad food we have eaten. My fiancé ordered the crab cake dinner and I ordered the prime rib. The crab cake was dry and the mashed potatoes were very thick and not hot. My prime rib was extremely tough. You could feel the grainy texture of the meat while cutting it. My potatoes were hot and creamy, which shows the inconsistency of the food. The highlight of our meals were the drinks, oysters and the wedge salads. $157 later, we left half of our entrees uneaten and left extremely unhappy.
Good food, pleasant atmosphere. Quiet enough to have conversation.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Our server Christ was the BEST!! :) Hands down.
Everything was excellent! The food, the service, the atmosphere... Ray's at Killer Creek has never disappointed me. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
EXCELLENT SERVICE TEAM RAY'S!
Disappointed to learn there was a limited menu on arrival. Would have been good to know that in advance. But adding insult to injury was the price of the fixed menu at $60 per person. It’s hard to make a meal that starts with ritz crackers and pimento cheese feel worth $60. It got a little better as the other dishes came out but not even close to $60. This was my first time with you. I won’t be back. And I LOVE eating out.
It took a while for them to seat us for a 3:45 reservation for Easter. We were seated right in front of the entertainment who was a guy with keyboard, guitar and iPad for assistance. He had a wide variety of songs and they were all well done.
The food was on a pre fixe menu. It was generous and delicious. I was not that wild about the dessert which was a bread pudding. The caramel sauce on it was delicious...not the store bought sweet stuff, but thick and buttery.
Overall, it was a pleasant Easter meal and will try again next year.
We loved Easter Dinner at Ray’s! Think we may have a new family tradition.
Great visit for Easter brunch. The food was great and the service was top notch.
Went for Easter brunch. Great food! Our waiter Malcolm made our experience even more enjoyable.
We went to Ray’s for Easter Sunday meal. The food was delicious, service was awesome, the atmosphere was great, and it was not loud. Definitely a recommended place to go.
Excellent food, but way too much. Service was ok considering there were still several empty tables/booths.
Excellent all the way around! Our server did an impeccable job (Justin ) and we enjoyed our dinner. The prime rib was cooked to perfection! We were treated to cheesecake and champagne which was delightful! My only regret was that we were seated close to the kitchen and it was noisy. A little bit disappointed since they knew ahead time that we were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary.
The live music is a nice added touch. Diners were encouraged to sing along and after 12 months of take out, this was a nice experience.
Arrived for 8pm reservations and seated in 8-10min after arriving at 8pm. Great table-side service. Had two servers with both being very attentive and responding to every request. The evening had a live musical act which added to the sound level and made conversation for the first 30-40min challenging. The difficulty eased once the act ended for the night. We ordered steaks and both were tasty and tender and cooked exactly to our temperature requests. The sides (asparagus, 3-cheese macaroni, and mashed potatoes) couldn’t have been better. We either finished or packed up our entire meals. The staff helped us celebrate our anniversary with complementary champagne and a bespoke Nutella cheesecake. We enjoyed our experience, were treated very well, and we recommend Ray’s to all who reads this critique.
My wife birthday!!!!
Our table was not that great -- back near the open kitchen. If there is a creek, we did not see it. Our server was very good, Justin. We had the pork belly and the goat cheese appetizers. Both were exceptional, unusual, and huge. Each was easily enough for two people. They were so large we asked Justin to split an entree for us. The scallops with Farro and mushrooms was the best I have ever eaten. The scallops were perfect and the mushroom flavor intensity was memorable. I highly recommend the menu items we tried. We will return.
Amazing food and great atmosphere. Felt so intimate and nice, great date night location!
Very nice experience overall. Service was superb and food was great.
