High curved booths are awful. Get yourself put at an actual table (which we did). Waiter seemed impatient the entire time. Being quick to bring food is fine, but don’t be quick to take a plate your guests are still trying to eat off of. Please retrain your service team. In the end, the food was subpar. Caesar salad was overdressed. Steak and prime rib were both tough and bland. Broccolini was drowning in butter. Will not be back and will not recommend anyone visit.
It was my 40th birthday and we received wonderful service and awesome food and drinks. We will definitely go back to Ray’s.
Great food reasonable price and was able to get a reservation last minute
Chris our server did a super job!! Took great care of us.
Hamburgers were awesome.
Birthday dinner
Great food, great service (Jaron and Nick were awesome, as usual) can’t wait to go back!
Food was great although it was slow in arriving. Service was average but there were times when our servers were needed and not around. I had the 8oz steak but my table mate had the 12oz and it made mine look extremely small.
Mine was small.
Musician was very good with a wide variety of music and it was not too loud so we were able to talk.
Always a dependable experience I was a little disappointed in the NY strip. It was an uneven cut so overdone on one end and good on the other, and it was slightly tough.
Having said that we will return and hope for a better result next time.
Food was good and Melissa our server was excellent—she made my wife’s drink better than the bartender.
Wonderful meal, thanks to Malcolm.
Dined on 2/21/21 for a family b’day celebration. Usually very pleased here and have given a 5-star review in the past. This time meal and service was disappointing. Too many issues to list but two in our party ordered ribeyes and received lower end steaks. These meals were specifically presented as ribeyes and they hoped we wouldn’t notice! When we inquired why they didn’t look or taste like ribeyes, they said they ran out and decided to substitute. So rather than ask if we wanted something else, you decide for us? Never had that happen before at an upscale steakhouse. Two others in party had grouper...tasty but small portion for the price. Overall service lacking. Not sure we’ll go back. Should be an awesome experience for those prices!
The food was excellent and wait staff, Gavin and Malcolm, were very polite and attentive. We will bring friends on our next visit!
Had a reservation at Killer Creek to celebrate my wife’s birthday.
Seated timely and ordered drinks and an appetizer....
First signs of trouble were that it took forever to receive 2 glasses of wine and the appetizer.
Entrees were ordered when the appetizer finally arrived and again, we had to wait , it seemed like forever.
Then after about 30 minutes , a manager came by the table and apologized for the wait ...and it was about 5 minutes later our meals arrived. That was a nice gesture on his part .
We were also informed that they would not charge us for the entrees , which was certainly unexpected but appreciated in light of the service issues...
Unsure what the problem was but I do know that the restaurant was not fully occupied so why then the service issues?
Been here several times over the years and always had good service and since we have moved back to the area we thought we would celebrate my wife’s bday at Ray’s .
Perhaps this was a one off but...not sure...
Normally one of our favorite restaurants. The service has gone downhill, seemed to need more training as our table was ignored (outdoor seating) and food was cold. Perhaps, too long under warming lights. In support of keeping all small businesses open, I left a generous tip. This was certainly not a reflection of the absolute poor service that we received. Recommending that you address service with the manager prior to confirming reservations.
Great food and great service! I would definitely recommend.
My wife and I rediscovered Ray’s after a 20 years away. This is our 2nd visit in a month. It’s become our favorite restaurant.... again.
Outstanding service, good wine offerings and a diverse menu. The food has been outstanding on both visits.
The music last Saturday night was excellent as well!
We are both happy we have rediscovered this gem!
Our server, William, was funny and was very attentive. Cory the singer and piano player performed well. Loved our night there! The food was exceptional!
Our family of 6 had a lovely dinner at Ray's at Killer Creek! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the live music was a great ambience. The whole dinning experience was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful dinner! :)
Wife’s steak a little under cooked and they got my sides wrong ( I didn’t modify what was on the menu- it just came with a different side and no sauce.
Our group of friends really enjoy dining at Ray’s. The drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts are outstanding! We always start with the fritters and they never disappoint. They also bring rolls to the table which are an incredible treat. They are doing a great job of social distancing the tables, wearing masks and checking temperatures at the door. Thank you for another great meal and dining experience.
Everything was really good but the food quality was poor. Both steaks were tough - filet and my strip. Sides were average. We have had much better at Ray’s in the past.
As always, Ray's at Killer Creek never disappoints. For dinner, I started with a wedge salad. The lettuce was fresh and the bleu cheese ample but not overwhelming. The surf and turf was great, with the filet cooked spot-on medium rare. The lobster tail was well-prepared without a hint of rubberiness.
My wife started with a Caesar salad. Again, just perfect. She said the Chilean Sea Bass was outstanding.
My only complaint was with the ambiance. The restaurant was unusually dim, even to the point of distinctly seeing my food. Of course, this might have more to do with my age than with Ray's. We will go again soon, even if I have to bring a flashlight. ;-)
Our server was wonderful!
Food & atmosphere very good.
We had a very enjoyable evening!
There are many places that offer great food and a wonderful atmosphere, but when we want to feel pampered and appreciated as people during dinner, the service from the professional staff at Ray's is our choice.
Burnt food.
Out of multiple items in menu.
Seated late for reservation.
I am afraid I was not very impressed. Two years ago, I was absolutely blown away by the river location. Killer creek was a bit of a letdown. The pictures online were much better than the real thing. The service was reasonable. The food was fair enough. But for over $200, it was nowhere near the level that one would expect.
Went here for Valentine’s Day...we were from out of town so not familiar with the area or restaurants. Everything was really great! My only critic would be for this level of a restaurant I would of expected for our drinks to be checked on a little more often. They also ran out of both the desserts I requested so that was a bummer. Overall the the food was excellent and it was a beautiful restaurant.
Enjoyed their Valentine's Day Pre-Fixe menu. The whole experience was over the top great! The live music, cozy atmosphere, and incredible menu selections made for a most memorable evening.
Will return on a mellow night. Was Vday so experience was a little rushed.
Went to spend Valentine's Day dinner together. Had a wonderful musician singing and playing keyboard. Food was excellent as always. Melissa and Bryant took good care of us. Had a really lovely evening.
We are a regular but this date we went for Valentines Day. Pre-set menu but good choices. They didn’t have the lemon butter cake on the menu but our server got us one as a substitute for pre-set dessert! Love it!
We were not aware that the menu was fixed and limited. I called and ask and was told it was not. That's fine, however for the cost it really didn't have a very good selection.
My salmon was undercooked, and my husband's steak was over cooked.
We enjoyed Valentines, but might think again about coming to Ray's.
Malcolm and Lu were amazing and our dining experience was very nice.
Chris was our server. He was OUTSTANDING! His presentation of our champagne was elegant and his overall service was great! He is a warm and friendly guy as well! Bravo! The good was fantastic!
Fantastic as always. This is our go-to for any special occasion.
Best experience I have had in a long time. Everything was perfect. Nothing disappointed our experience.
Nice (but expensive!) Valentine’s Day meal for my wife and me. Outstanding food and atmosphere, but definitely only a special occasion venue.
Took my daughter and wife for a valentines dinner.
As always everything was great From beginning to end
Has been a year since we have been out.
Everything was excellent
Everything was great, the service was superb We will definitely be regulars❤️
