Ray's at Killer Creek Ratings and Reviews
Rays on Killer Creek was awesome in all areas of dining out and impressive in helping me and my cousin Marcie from Maryland celebrate her birthday! She was so happy during her stay. The manager and staff casually and genuinely came to our table and wished her a happy birthday. The waiter smooth (and handsome) and on point with service. Excellence-food, service, atmosphere and professionalism. Outstanding. Thank you
My wife and I wanted to have a date night out with our grand daughter and made reservations at this location. We have both dined at rays on the river several times and loved the food as it is always delicious. Upon our arrival we were greeted at the front door with a look of shock either because we are a female couple, my having sleeve tattoos or the two year old we had with us. We were seated with the baby in a booth. The ambience was nice and the server wad awesome. We asked her after a few minutes of my wife having to hold the baby in her lap and maneuver the menu-if we could have a high chair. The server said she didn't know if they had one and went to ask. She returned a few minutes later with possibly a manager who informed us that she could not allow the high chair to block the walkway. I understand however the short toned nature of her response with irritating and at that point I was ready to take my business elsewhere. My wife wanted to stay and have dinner rather than have to pack up the baby. Dinner was delicious and the server was great, however, we will not be going back here. We spent 130 dollars to be talked down to and my wife couldn't eat for having to hold the baby and try to feed her as well. If they could have suggested moving us to a table that could accommodate the high chair I may have felt differently.
We have dined at Ray's many times and have always had a great experience. However, our visit on October 29th was disappointing.
1. We had to ask multiple times for bread and then again for butter.
2. They brought the wrong entree to one of us. After several minutes of scrambling by the wait staff, the correct entree was delivered to the table.
3. When the correct entree arrived, it was overcooked.
4. This was a Sunday evening and wine by the bottle is 1/2 price. We discussed that with the server before ordering a bottle of wine. However, when the bill was delivered the wine was charged out at full price, and we had to specifically ask the server to correct it.
We had a great brunch Sunday at Rays Killer Creek, service was outstanding, the buffet brunch line had a variety of items (breakfast, lunch and dessert). We were greeted by the hostess and were immediately shown to our table. John, the Maitre d', came to our table to welcome us back and to share the new items being offered. Our server, Ivan, took over from there. He kept our plates cleared and drinks filled. I had asked Ivan about an item that I had seen on previous buffet, but did not see it this time, he said he would check. A few minutes later Ivan appeared with a serving of the item I had inquired about. Talk about service. We were extremely impressed with both the service and food. Killer Creek is our favorite restaurant and look forward to our next visit.
Quality steakhouse in the Alpharetta area. Killer Creek offers a great selection of steaks and seafood along with daily specials. Great cocktails and very nice wine list. Steaks were delicious and cooked just right. We splurged on the seafood tower as an appetizer - this was good - we have definitely had better in ATL . Wish they would add a mustard or other sauce to do with the lobster and crab. Praline basket for desert was a wonderful ending to a good meal.
We went to Ray's for our Anniversary, and they treated us like royalty. From the confetti spread on the table to the attentive service, with a finale of champagne and dessert, everything was perfect! Will definitely visit again, especially for a special occasion.
Food was good but a little pricey. Service started out so strong and then we didn't see our waiter for over 20 mins after we were served the entree. And from then on when we did he barely spent a second with us. We were supposed to have a second server but never saw anyone else. Very strange.
Always a good experience, Ray' s delivers. Calamari was exceptional as was ahi tuna, although the mashed potatoes were a bit too salty. Halibut special was great as was the accompaniment. Wine specials were a great value. Great experience and I will be back.
Killer Creek is the best Sunday brunch buffet. The offerings were top notch, breakfast as well as lunch items. Our servers Ivan and Lou Ann atticipated our every need. Kept our drinks filled and plates cleared. The staff at Killer Creek are the best, thanks Billie, Lou Ann and Ivan. We look forward to our next visit.
Our server, Thomas. took excellent care of us. He kept a close eye on our table and kept drinks filled. We both had the cobb lobster salad. It was outstanding, ingredients were fresh and had a good amount of lobster meat. We drove special to have the lobster salad at Rays Killer Creek. Billy, general manager, and staff provided an excellent dining experience.
This is a Sunday Brunch review and we are "repeat offenders."
From the greeting upon arrival until the closing upon our departure we were totally satisfied with the warmth and professionalism of the personnel and especially with the improvements in the structure and variety of food on the line. We were surprised and totally impressed with the new opening service of Hot Cinnamon Rolls followed by a Crab Cake bowl, a Lobster Nachos bowl, and a French Toast/Banana bowl. These items were adequate for a party of four (4) and were not some kind of gimmick -- they were good and we were informed they will be the lead in to future Brunches. The General Manager. Billie Burch and the Executive Chef, Mike have striven to equal or surpass the brunch put on at Ray's on the River and we believe they are a success. We highly recommend a visit
Had great evening, service was great. I accidentally brought in a personal bottle of wine, that was already on the wine list, and the server handled my faux pas expertly. Made me aware of my ignorance without making me look a fool in front of my guests. I forget the gentleman's name, but he has been my server before. Hopefully my gratuity was sufficient apology. All courses were timed perfectly. Drinks took a minute, but to be expected. Ambiance/volume were perfect as well.
Food was not outstanding. Three had grouper, no one said anything great about it. ( I was paying the bill for all). The grouper was horseradish encrusted but really could taste nothing but fish. I personally felt the fish was somewhat overcooked. Another person had crabcakes, but only ate one. Another had Ahi tuna and I believe I heard her say to her spouse that it was good. Not sure what the 6th one ate....could not see as we had a round table for 6. Ordered Sonoma- Cutrer and the waiter said they were out of it. We were there by 6:30 and found it strange to be out of that wine early on a Friday night.
The waiter had a voice that no one could understand due to the fact he spoke barely above a whisper. We told him several times we could not understand/hear him, but he made no adjustment to the level in which he was speaking. This night was an aberration, I am sure. We have dined there in the past and enjoyed our meals. This was an " off " night.
I enjoyed the food. Service was slow. Overall good experience. I took my sister for a date she enjoyed the experience. I recommend this place to my customer. Management offered to treat me extra special for all the bussiness i bring the resteraunt but that did not happen so i will not ever reccomend them anymore because there are other sea food places who will appreciate the bussines i bring them
