The 2018 Cabernet Franc is a claret style wine with a bright garnet red hue. It reveals mocha cherry fruit flavors, followed by floral violet undertones. Seasoned oak allows the fruit tannins to glide softly and are pronounced in the finish. Serving suggestions: Charcuterie, Grilled Fish, or Gourmet Burgers. Aged for nine months in French oak, RayLen's Cabernet Sauvignon is rich in flavor and body. Luscious tones of leather and tobacco are followed on the palate by cherry and baking spices. Pair this wine with Rack of Lamb in a Chimichurri sauce for a delightful experience

RayLen's Merlot is deep and smoky with softened tannins from its time in French oak. Ripe blackberry and cherry can be observed on the palate with layers of toasted vanilla and fennel. Pairing this wine with Duck A L'orange would be a true experience for your palate

The 2018 Carolinius shows great integrity with it's bright cherry red color with spicy pomegranate, cranberry, and cherry cola aromas and flavors The wine is supple and well integrated, very smooth and polished making it very approachable. The blend will vary from year to year to create a pinot noir style red with a balanced sense of richness. Classic red varietals selected in this blend for 2018 include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. This is the perfect table wine for your everyday enjoyment. A fresh, bright and lively Rosé wine offers hints of cherry and sweet grape jam. One of RayLen's only sweet wines, the Pale Red calms down hot spicy foods like gumbo or hot stuffed peppers. The Pale Red is perfect for the North Carolinian raised on sweet tea

Like the regal ship transporting barrels of wine across the gentle ocean surface, RayLen's Caravel glides smoothly across the palate with intense, deep ruby red colors and aromas of blackberries and black cherries which smolders the mouth with luxurious textures of crushed velvety tannins. This Reserve wine stands alone in strength of body and character. The best of the vineyard's Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot create a Meritage blend of deep color, complex flavor and intoxicating aroma of violets, cooked raspberries and fig. The Eagle's select is aged for 18-20 months in new French oak making it a perfect wine to cellar gracefully for years to come. Pairs well with braised short ribs and chocolate ganache cake

A medium-dry proprietor's blend of Riesling, Viognier, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio make this a wine to please the masses. RayLen's Carolinius White has hints of pineapple and honey on the nose with candied lemon on the finish. Yadkin Gold is a party favorite and could pair well with charcuterie and great conversation with friends

We are excited to release our 2018 Pinot Grigio. This wine has evolved in color, showing some hues of Pinot Grigio's true skin color, reddish bronze. Ripe melon and pear aromas are upfront with a hint of minerality that preambles the creamy mouth filling textures and flavors of baked apple, honey and mango fruit. The finish is smooth, but crisp and pleasant. We're thrilled to let this out of the cellar for your enjoyment

The 2019 Viognier release is our first of the 2019 vintage. Our winemaker, Steve, has been touting this vintage as one of his favorite of all time. The Viognier shows the elegance and grace it's known for. Aromas of white peach and nectarine precursor the green apple and fig flavors. The mid palate is generously full, yet leading to a crisp, lingering, fresh finish. The 2019 Viognier will continue to mature with an additional 1-3 years proper cellaring
