Good Food and Service. The Entries could be a little more warmer. Also, we were on one of the tables of the entry and the host was almost the entire time stand by our table, that was not nice.

Our last night in San Juan we dined at Raya because of its interesting menu. We sat outside since that’s all that was left on such short notice. Service was terrific from the hostess being able to seat us earlier than our reservation to our outstanding server. Everyone worked as a team and customer service was their priority. Food was creative and fun. We decided to do tapas and had 6 courses including dessert, mostly because it was too difficult to just choose one or two. The ONLY issue was the brightness of the building lights outside which was a bit harsh but didn’t get in the way of our dining adventure. We will positively be back the next time we go to San Juan. Highly recommend!

The food was delicious! My favorites were nachos and tuna nigiri! My husband loved the soup they brought us so much, he ordered it as a meal! We dined at 5:30pm so there were only a few other diners when we arrived. The restaurant was full by the time we left.

We had a reservation but still had to wait 15 minutes to be seated even though there were tables available in plain view. The noise level was too high. The food was very good but somewhat expensive. Service was too slow. In summary, it was not a good experience for us. Maybe it was too busy last night for them and they were short staffed.

The food was amazing! The hostess and the staff were very kind and accommodating! We got treated very nicely by everyone. It was my friends birthday and they brought out a dessert with a candle for her. Would definitely go again!

We had the duck fried rice and it was amazing. Also we had the filet Mignon special with 3-truffle dumplings and it was tasty but the duck was better. The free mushroom soup was great!

One of the worst meals my wife and I have had in a long time. We love Asian cuisine, and we have tried and enjoyed other restaurants from Mario Pagan, but this was at best Panda Express level cuisine. We tried the chicken Lo-Mein and the duck fried rice, both highly recommended by the server. Both were incredibly heavy on soy sauce. All we could taste was soy sauce. The appetizers also missed the mark. We have been to Sage twice, but we are not coming back to Raya. I wish I could recommend it but it was a really disappointing experience.

We always enjoy when we’re in Puerto Rico. Gustavo is one of the best mixologists I’ve come across and has an expert take on classic cocktails. My favorite dish is the Costillas. The are tender but have a nice crisp on the outside. The shrimp boa is a light but flavorful appetizer. Overall, the restaurant is the best I’ve tried on the island.
