Large party of eight ... I wish they had a round table for group conversation. Atmosphere is nice, views are awesome and food was great. All meals were prepared as desired. We will definitely return for another enjoyable evening.

All the hard surfaces make for an impossibly loud environment. Couldn’t hear others at our table speak. Guitar music lovely but again, hard surfaces everywhere made for very poor acoustics.

Enjoyed our experience and the music and the excellent service. It was a bit loud which made it difficult to hear our table conversation but other than that we had a lovely time.

Funky joint far from the maddening crowd (literally). Wine list is moderate in size; inflated in price. Food - slightly better than bar food.

Salads were fabulous but deviled egg appetizer was so-so. Noise level was over the top. Sound deadening would be helpful. It was difficult to have a conversation over the noise. Otherwise the views are great and we are glad to have reserved a table.

Delicious peach inspired Sangria. I had the rustic panini and a portion of my friends tuna tartare salad which I will order next time there which will be soon. We sat outside and it was amazing how much cooler it is at the elevation of Ravens View. Definitely will be back there soon!

We were promptly greeted and seated inside with a great view for the sunset. Had the cheeseboard and Bavarian pretzels with house wine and white sangria. Enjoyed every minute of it. Will definitely go back.

Not the wonderful quaint place it used to be. It was very loud as people were trying to talk over the live music which I think detracts form the beautiful setting. It's no longer a peaceful retreat to relax with a glass of wine. Lots of families with little babies and kids. The new owner has significantly changed the atmosphere and we don't think for the better. Sad

The service was wonderful and the staff could not have been any nicer. They had some lovely guys there playing music which was fun and they were so sweet to my 2 year old (who refuses to stay seated and only wanted to be in front of the guitar players at all times). The location is cool because you feel like you are at this little oasis in the middle of nowhere desert because it’s so dark around you. With that said, if we did not ask for candles, it was so dark we would not even have been able to see our food if you are sitting outside. The candles helped a little. Unfortunately, the food is just OK. It was edible but nothing to speak of. The beet salad and Cobb salad somehow just lacked flavor. The onion soup was extremely salty and just had a flavor not typically associated with onion soup. The deviled eggs didn’t have any salt, it seemed, and were just tasteless. The meatballs seemed to be bread heavy or at least something made them extremely dense. The gnocchi was OK if you like the flavor of Brie. The best item we had was their version of a French Dip. My mom had been there for lunch previously and gotten the grilled cheese with pesto which was good so it seems you should stick with sandwiches. Basically it’s a nice spot for a date night with your eye on drinking and not eating or perhaps just splitting a sandwich to soak up the wine ;) To be fair, it is supposed to be a wine bar.

The Raven's View is a hidden gem. It is a bit of a drive to northern Cave Creek but the scenery is amazing along the way. This restaurant doesn't look like much when you first drive up. However, it is a very pleasant surprise once you enter. We were greeted cordially and offered a table either outside or inside. We chose the former and enjoyed the view of the golf course green across the road and the warm breeze that evening. The menu is very unique with an emphasis on salads and sandwiches. The wine list is very extensive for a small restaurant. Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed both appetizers and entrees. Our server - Lacey - was a delight. She was very knowledgeable about both the menu items and the wine list. Noise is definitely not an issue here! The four of us all vowed to return here in the very near future. This restaurant is unique and a very welcome addition to the Valley's "restaurant scene".

It was an absolutely delightful evening! Two people had meatballs, one rustic panini and one quiche....all the food was delicious! One of the individuals who ordered the meatballs thought the sauce was a little too spicy for her so the owner was gracious in making an exchange and comping her meal. Not necessary but very gracious! Views are wonderful, music was great but because of acoustics, it was a bit noisy. Having said that, will definitely go back!!
