Ravello Bar & Grill Ratings and Reviews
Great food, decent drinks, piano bar, nice atmosphere. Fireplace was nice also to sit by.
I was not aware kids were allowed and would have preferred no kids but it's a bar n grill so understandable.
Service was excellent, food was great but a little pricey, which I expected. Parking great unless you go on a weekend, then you hope to get lucky. Overall 4 of 5 stars.
The food is delicious BUT way overpriced. The service was OK. One thing I would recommend is for them to dim the lights. It was way too bright in there for dinner. I would recommend this restaurant to others though as I have eaten both lunch and dinner there.
The restaurant decor is nice, and the food was pretty good, though overpriced. My husband had the giant shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were very large and very good, which they should have been for over $5.00/shrimp. My salmon was OK, but it was a pretty small portion and the potatoes and beans weren't very hot. My husband had a filet, which was fairly good sized and tender, but at $35.00 came with just a grilled tomato, so he ordered a side of portobello mushroom fries. Again this was a small portion for $10.50. We don't mind the cost if the meal is worthy of the price, but were kind of disappointed here.
The restaurant staff should make a note when you tell them you're bringing a birthday guest. The server did take my friend's dessert off my bill after the fact--but she didn't get the birthday surprise I'd hoped for when I called in to remind the staff about the occasion. I find almost all restaurants are dropping the ball on this lately, but it matters. If the staff DOES remember, it makes for a lovely occasion. And that's especially important when you charge special-occasion prices.
The food, however, was marvelous (special occasion-worthy): the beet salad, the scallops, the salmon, the semi-freddo chocolate dessert--all terrific. Good wine too.
We were looking for a quick delicious dinner prior to a gallery opening. Ravello Bar and Grill fit the bill. They were accomodating on splitting a main dish and I loved the half order of salad prior to the main dish. The wait staff was very attentive. A very nice dinner.
thank you for outstanding service and accommodating all of our requests as we celebrated my son's high school graduation. the food was absolutely delicious! we enjoyed the Roasted cedar plank salmon, Colossal shrimp, Colorado lamb chops, Fettucine Alfredo w/shrimp, Fettucine Alfredo w/chicken, Ravioli of the day, and Crispy calamari. thank you again
The restaurant is beautiful! The service was very very slow, but our server was so shy and nervous, so we were not upset about that. The calamari was excellent. The entrees were not. The lamb chops were well done, as well as the steak. The mushroom risotto as well as the lamb and steak were outrageously bland. The creme brulee was gritty and very very very sweet.
A group of us were celebrating an engagement. We arrived at the last hour of happy hour time and the bar area was full. We wanted to be apart of the happy hour specials, but the floor manager said no we had to sit in lounge area near wall. Within minutes more groups of people came in and wanted to be part of the happy hour special and there wasn't enough seating in the bar area and the staff started to allow others to sit at the dining tables in the general dining area. Management was directing the waiters one way and the owner gave direction to the front staff another way, everyone seemed confused, even the customers. Overall it seemed a bit unorganized.
Excellent experience at this fine restaurant. Food items were eclectic and noteworthy. Caesar salad wonderful. The ravoli special, unique, nicely prepared and tasty. The pasta dishes are cooked al dente. Wonderful service compliments our memorable experience.
