Wir sind absolut begeistert! Schon bei der Reservierung wurde auf all unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Ich hatte angegeben, dass mein Papa Probleme mit dem Gehör hat und dass wir unseren Hund dabeihaben – gefragt, ob es möglich wäre, etwas am Rand zu sitzen. Und tatsächlich: Uns wurde ein perfekter Tisch in einem kleinen Separé bzw. etwas abseits reserviert – einfach mega toll und genau das, was wir uns erhofft hatten! Auch der Service war herausragend. Unser Kellner war unglaublich freundlich, zuvorkommend und hat wirklich alles gegeben, damit wir uns rundum wohlfühlen – dabei immer sehr, sehr höflich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend!

Es war sehr gemütlich und alles verlief zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Das Essen war sehr lecker und unser Kellner ( wenn mich nicht alles täuscht hieß er Kevin) war sehr aufmerksam, sehr freundlich und hatte einen gewissen Charme mit einer gewissen Portion Witz. Er hat einen fantastischen Job gemacht - großes Lob an ihn! Wir waren an dem Geburtstag meines Sohnes dort und der Tisch wurde liebevoll eingedeckt und als kleine Überraschung bekam er eine super Gesangseinlage und ein Stück Kuchen mit einer kleinen Kerze. Es war eine super Überraschung und einfach herzlich. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in München werden wir aufjedenfall wiederkommen!!

Traditional German cooking, friendly service, fantastic location. The sauerkraut that came with the bratwurst appetizer was the best I’ve ever had—everyone at the table commented on it. I go here to get Weiner schnitzel prepared the way I remember it from living in Germany 50 years ago, so it’s really the only menu item I can comment on other than that appetizer. :) Many places are selling pork or chicken “schnitzel” now but this is beef the way I remember it. Highly recommend the experience.

Es war so ein fantastischer Abend! Ich hatte bei der Reservierung angegeben, dass wir wegen einem Geburtstag kommen und es war sehr liebevoll dekoriert und es gab sogar eine kleine Überraschung! Unser Kellner war ebenfalls fantastisch und das Essen war auch fantastisch. Mein Dad hätte keinen schöneres Geburtstagsessen haben können. Ich hatte zuerst bedenken, dass es super touristisch und trubelig wird. Aber neeee, war garnicht der Fall!:)

Den Ratskeller in München kann man auf jeden Fall ohne Einschränkung empfehlen - insbesondere für Nicht-Münchener, da bereits das Ambiente, die Atmosphäre etc. beeindruckend sind und sich von "normalen" Restaurants im positiven Sinne unterscheiden.

The location is amazing. The Marienplatz area is historic and a must see experience. The service was fast and VERY friendly. The food was authentic German, and full of flavor. I definitely recommend this place.
