Feast on traditional Italian cuisine at Ratatouille Restaurant. Its homey setting features clothed tables and a piano bar. Milo and Linda Valenti along with Executive Chef Gilbert Brenot have created an inviting atmosphere for guests to dine at Ratatouille Restaurant. Appetizers such as blackened scallops, steak tartare or grilled baby octopus will delight the palate before the main course. Guests can try an entrée of seafood milanese, duck breast scallopini or pan-fried prawns. Wood-fired pizza, salad and sandwiches are also on the menu.
Ratatouille Restaurant features live entertainment. It has a happy hour with specials and offer bar seating. This eatery also caters and provides outdoor dining.
Their marinara sauce is extremely taste. You could tell the meatball were hand made, and they were light and delicious. Eggplant lasagna was unexpectedly a little heavy but tasty. The calamari appetizer was very good.
The food is awesome and delicious ! Great chicken, frog legs , scallops, fish ... Wonderful pasta ! The restaurant is truly a gem !
Great food!!! Our server was friendly and knowledgable. The scallops and polenta app was delicious. My husband had the halibut which was tender and flaky. We will definitely be back!
The food and wine prices are relatively expensive. There are better restaurants for the same money. Some appetizers were good, such as the calamari and the coconut shrimp. The flatbread pizza was just fair. Not all the food came out of the kitchen at the same time. The server was very young and not very experienced. The ambiance is very nice. They had wonderful live music which was a main reason we picked it. I made a special point of speaking to one of the managers with a request for a birthday dessert for my wife's 60th birthday. Nothing. Totally disappointing.
Food was okay. Restaurant is lovely but had the veal and it was very tough. Not the best Italian food I have eaten.
Although I miss the concept of Valenti's the food was excellent and the waitstaff exceptional. My only constructive criticism is the menu is very limited
This was our first time at Ratatouille and I have mixed opinions. The food was excellent, but the service (not the server) was below par. There were not alot of people in the restaurant or outside on the patio, but the service was very slow. As I said, the food was very good and for that reason, I will return.
The food was not bad. Some of it very good. Some of it, at best, fair. The server, while very sweet and well meaning, made numerous errors in putting in our orders. I honestly think that she may be slightly hard of hearing and not yet know it. The biggest issue that we had with Ratatouille was the cost/value. Many of the items were fairly pricey, for what they were. Particularly among the salads & apps ($10 for 2 TINY meatballs, $15 for a small order of mediocre calamari, $12 for a small caesar side salad, etc). The place actually has potential but at those prices we will likely dine elsewhere.
