This used to be one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Montreal and wow the place is nearly un recognizable. When every table is only ordering fries then you know it’s an issue. An even bigger issue is the complete lack of flavour. I would skip and avoid the disappointment.

I was visiting Montreal with a friend of mine. We were staying in old Montreal, but we heard really good reviews of this restaurant. So we travelled out and with no regret. The food was amazing, the service was courteous. We are definitely going to recommend.

The service was really good. Our waiter was down to earth and professional. I'll be returning and have recommended this restaurant to family for 2 reasons: the food and ambiance. Thank you for the beautiful evening.

Good place to eat, but not of you’re looking for authentic indian flavors. They also seem to prioritize take out and delivery over dine in people. We had to wait over an hour and a half to finally get our food!

We came down from Ottawa for my husband’s birthday and after having a really bad start to our weekend with having a bad experience at our air bnb, we almost thought we wouldn’t be able to make it for our dinner reservations at Rasoi. We were so glad that we made it because from the minute we entered the restaurant, the staff were so friendly, accommodating us even though we were late. The food was so delicious! We tried the tandoori chicken, Kiki do you love me? Which was our favourite. It reminded me of home since it had the same mango achar my mom makes. We loved the goat curry the best and also loved our cocktails & desserts. A wonderful modern take on good Indian food. They accommodate your spice levels too which is awesome! The chef came to our table and greeted us & also recommended another cocktail spot to us. We were the last group of people & they never once told us to hurry up or leave. The experience was just amazing!

Discovering Rasoi's modern Indian cuisine last weekend was a MOST pleasant surprise - probably the best Indian we've had this side of the Atlantic. The tuna-tartare with a creamy coriander filling was truly to die for (not sure if I'd have called it Indian, but no matter), while our other vegetarian dishes were full of intense, fresh flavour. The home-made paneer was light and creamy. Wish we'd had room for dessert (the gulab jamun beckoned) but next time!

Excellent modern take on this style of food. Nuanced flavors, literally every dish is well done, good variety and there is an excellent choice available for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores! Service is always pleasant and attentive. One of our favorites.

Poulet Jal-Frazee à 15 $ qui est constituée d'une purée brunâtre (sans morceaux de piments chilis ni de morceaux d'oignons) qui goûte le sel plus que les épices avec seulement 3 minuscules morceaux de poulet. Le rapport qualité-prix n'y est pas du tout.
