Rasika Ratings and Reviews
Three of us shared two 6-course dinners, starting at 5 pm and ending 2 1/2 hours later in time for our show next door at Woolly Mammoth. Everything was absolutely exquisite. It was a splurge, to be sure, but well worth it. Every dish was beautiful, delicious, served at just the right moment and with style. Really an unforgettable evening.
We came here on the recommendation of our in-laws. It was a great experience! Our waiter was exceptionally friendly & gave great recommendations on dishes. He recommended the fried spinach, grouper, spicy cubed lamb, and Tikka Masala. We ordered the fried spinach, lamb, and dover sole, bread basket and a couple drinks. Everything was delicious & very flavorful. The lamb was tender & flavorful, but too salty. The dover sole was delicious. The fried spinach was amazing & I wish more Indian restaurants offered it. Rasika's menu listed many dishes not available at most Indian restaurants, which made it all the more special. They had the usual dishes like Tikka Masala, Biryani, Naan, Chaat, but there were many more dishes that I didn't recognize & cannot name. Because I knew that I wouldn't be able to come back to Rasika anytime soon & thoroughly enjoyed the food, I ordered the Tikka Masala to-go. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Had a fantastic first experience at Rasika- after all of the great things friends and family had said about the place, my boyfriend and I chose to celebrate my bonus and his raise at Rasika! We got the 4-course tasting menu which was absolutely fabulous and enjoyed the great service, incredible food, and fine atmosphere.
Rasika is a beautiful, high-end restaurant with delicious Indian cuisine. My wife and I went for Valentine's dinner (though a few days before actual Valentine's Day since reservations were hard to come by) and the food was fantastic. They have reasonable valet rates as well.
The palak chaat and cardamon ice cream itself was worth the price. Although the meat portions were small, the lamb meat was perfectly tender. I didn't see the lassi on the menu but thankfully the waitress said she could the sweet lassi and mango lassi for us. Great date with equally good food. Thank you for your service.
Great service. Excellent food. Biriyani, dal makhni and reshimi kabab were Awesome. Flavors were excellent. Biriyani and reshmi kabab... I think, the best I had in near times. Server, Kathryn had a good knowledge of the Menu and the food there. She had answers to all our questions. Nice place to dine. Will be there again.
The flash fried spinach is always a draw. The service was superb, as always. We dined late but had a reservation. The lamb biryani was not as good as it has been in the past. Tasted as if it had been burned on the bottom- not to be confused with the spice, which I’ve had a number of times before. It was a bit grainy in texture , not nearly as good as in the past. Also the cocktail list seemed limited and less creative than past visits. Maybe we should try the new location. Service, however, was excellent- especially for late night dining.
Great Dinner Experience with my date. This was my date’s first experience trying Indian cuisine. We absolutely enjoyed our appetizers (Palak Chaat and the Crab). For dinner, we had the chicken biryani and chicken masala. Both dishes were delicious. The ambiance and service was A++++
It was our first visit after planning to come for years! The welcome, varied menu, helpful recommendations by our server, delicious food and beverage (fresh watermelon juice!) and thoughtful oversight by related staff, made this more outstanding than we expected. Thank you, Rasika!
My first dining experience at Rasika’s was phenomenal! Gregory was great in explaining the food choices on the menu, as well being attentive. My husband and I selected the 4-course tasting menu. Each course surpassed the prior one in flavor and presentation. Will definitely return to dine!
