Food was okay but service was terrible. After sitting for an hour appetizers started to finally come out but there was a spread of 15 minutes between 1st and last appetizer.

The prices were super high, we left with a $300 bill for two people for not a lot of food. For that money I expect tip top performance. The waiters had attitude and weren't nice, the restaurant was empty, and the food came cold. The waiter also refused to change the Sweet Potato Mash for regular mashed potatoes. You would expect that is not a big deal since they have both readily available and it's not like they are altering a recipe and just putting it on the side. Their decor is nicer in half of the restaurant with nice Windows and table cloth and chairs, and on the other side there's just tables spread out and they could have invested into a nice center piece or something. Overall, I pay that much for Reserve Cut in NYC and you can not compare the two. A little disappointed.

Restaurant was not easy to find. Big open room not very private. For a steak house the steaks we had were very disappointing. Especially considering the price.

I came here two years ago and the food, ambiance and service was amazing and I promised myself that I would come back the next time I'm in Miami, but I'm extremely dissapponted that I didn't have the same experience. Not only was our service horrible because the waiters were so rude and they had an attitude problem, but the menu changed and the food is way over priced. They also have a casual section of the restaurant which we were not informed about and they tried to make us feel stupid about it and told us that it's the same on both sides when it was very clear that it wasn't. When we addressed the restaurant about how we felt, they didn't really care and I was surprised because I thought they would want us to come back in the future. I came all the way from Beverly Hills and I can assure you that was the last time I would ever go to Rare and I would never recommend it to anyone. I've never been treated with such disrespect at a "high class" restaurant like that.
