Rapscallion & Co. is a mischievous and vibrant part
of Hamilton’s restaurant scene, dedicated to offering the city’s culinary
connoisseurs a full nose-to-tail experience. We offer a regularly changing,
meaty and creative menu in a laid-back setting. Our skilled and
passionate chefs do it all, whether it’s curing, salting, boning, stuffing,
wrapping, charring, braising, or just leaving the meat raw.
Above all, we love to prepare food that pushes boundaries and pulls you outside of your comfort zone — just a little bit. We get tremendous joy out of food and offer items that you are unlikely to find another local restaurants. While we love meat more than some people love their firstborn, we are always happy to accommodate those who don’t. Vegetarians and vegans are always welcome, options available by request.

Please note that Monday-Friday, our Lunch menu is only offered until 1130 am -2:00 pm Saturday-Sunday, our Brunch menu is only offered 10 am- 2:00 pm.

    Food was good, lamb ribs were a small portion for the price, and mostly fat. A little disappointing in that aspect. Chickpea flatbread was ok, was expecting more of naan with a curry on the side, because it was smothered it was kind of soggy. Pasta was good, overall for the price you kind of want outstanding, and it was just okay

    Tuesday is Date Night. Share apps, main, dessert and 2 drinks. All for $90. Nice food and setting. Wil repeat.

    I’ve been here 5 times now and it never disappoints! The food is impeccable (I get the broccoli everytime because it’s so delicious) and the service is attentive and great. Every cocktail is great that I’ve tried. If I’m in the area I always make time to book a reservation at Rapscallion.

    I have not had this kind of dining experience in a very long time. Everything was perfect. The service, drinks, food, ambiance. Everything! The entire table loved it.

    Nice restaurant and nice patio. Attentive waiter. Two of us ordered the rainbow trout. It was a bit overcooked and served with a few chick peas. We were not overwhelmed. IOther diners’ plates looked more appetizing

    Went for my mom’s birthday with my family and had a wonderful meal! Our meal consisted of many shared plates among our group of 6 - we had the chicken liver brûlée, the whipped feta, the spicy calamari, the Thai-stuffed wings, the lamb belly, the shrimp risotto, and the bone marrow. Everything we had was delicious and multiple times throughout the meal people made comments about the quality of the food. We even had a couple picky eaters in the group and they were able to find things to eat and enjoy despite the more adventurous menu options. The cocktails were also really good - I even took a photo of the ingredients for one of them so I can try to recreate it at home. I had the Alex Sour, the Oystertini, and the Danger Zone, which were all really good. The staff were friendly and informative, and provided us with an amuse-bouche on the house for my mom’s birthday.

    Rapscallion has been consistently really good. We’ve been coming for over 10 years and it never disappoints. The whipped feta and chicken liver brûlée are some of our favorite dishes.
