   Everything was wonderful, from start to finish, from letting us choose our outdoor patio table (my senior doggy was in a stroller and we wanted to not get in the way), to our server's thoughtful (and spot on!) recommendations, to being so kind to us when my dog was having meltdown moments on your outside area (sooo sorry - he just turned 18 and I wonder if dementia is rearing its head, new as of 3 days ago). We loved everything we ate and our server was awesome taking care of us and humoring us with phototaking and trying to engage my dog too. Thank you so much! Can't wait to come back for more Sunday brunches and hopefully dinner too!

   I’ve been wanting to come take a bite at Rappahannock for a few weeks since seeing it advertised on instagram. I always love to have oysters and so that was naturally the first order. We had two of the three they had. One was the Baja, The Rappahannock, and another one called old salts briny. I’d describe the Baja oysters similar to Kumamoto Oysters. Small, sweet and doesn’t taste too much like eating from the ocean water. The other two were more on the salty and what I like to describe as eating from the ocean. Still good, just not my preference. We also ordered the lobster truffle poutine. This was probably the best truffle fries I’ve ever had because it had cheese and lobster on it. An absolute must try. Everything about it was fresh. We also added the oyster chowder that came on sourdough bread. It was fresh and tasty. Loved the potatoes and the oysters in it. Another must try. For me, the biggest hit besides the lobster truffle poutine were the Maryland Crab Cakes. Every restaurant I go to, I love to see if they have crab cakes. This Maryland Crabcake was phenomenal. Great portion too. Fresh crab and sauces on the side that you could dip into plus had this coleslaw underneath that paired well with it. The last two dishes were a calamari salad and the squid ink pasta. The salad had a sweet dressing but I personally don’t like fried calamari rings. I would’ve preferred if they were grilled and the other parts of calamari not the round thin rings shaped like onion rings. The squid ink pasta to me was a big miss. To me it had the least amount of flavor on the pasta sauce. The squid itself tasted great but for every pasta I order, I like to see what the chef does with the sauce and this one was just very bland. For dessert we ordered the berry tart with ice cream. Although the berry tart had a such sweet flavor and parts of the crust was tasty Jr’s just that the crust may have been underprepared. Nonetheless, I recommend this place! Great service!

   It was birthday and I wanted to try something new. I saw that Nct 127 came and ate here and they rated it a really good experience and since I love seafood, I had to try it. Very modern and very chill vibes. I ordered the small seafood tower and lobster rolls and they didn’t disappoint.

   This was my first time at this restaurant. I came with 3 other friends for my birthday. Overall, 10/10. We all loved it. Everything was delicious. My fav dishes were the hamachi, bay scallops, seafood gumbo and the lobster Mac and cheese. I have to highlight that this was the first place that I have found a lobster Mac and cheese that did not disappoint. Every bite had lobster with savory cheese that did not overpower the other ingredients. I would highly recommend this place and definitely, I’ll be back.

    Not normally the type to complain but my wife and I waited over an hour for a sandwich and pasta. Terrible server not attentive to my wife and I at all in even a minimal way. I felt like everyone around us was helped before us and everyone got their food before us. Even had to pay 10 dollars for parking because we took so long at lunch. Really left us kind of upset with how we were treated.

    we always enjoy our food at Rappahannock. I had the salmon with rice and Brussel sprouts. It was EXCELLENT. My wife had the shrimp tacos which she enjoys. I had the pumpkin soup that was very tasty but was at room temperature. Service was attentive

    Came here with my girlfriend last week. Thought it was a nice restaurant. Made a reservation for 8:00PM. They sat us at the bar so we can wait for a table, waited for 30 minutes even though they had tables available. Felt more like a sports bar than a restaurant since all the servers were dancing and cracking jokes instead of attending to the customers. Got real awkward quick. Food was decent but maybe just shut down the restaurant and make it a full bar since partying is what they want to focus on

    I really wanted to like this place. We drove 2 hrs to try it out. We were seated quickly, ordered drinks and appetizers, they were out within 5 minutes which was nice. The scallops were okay, very fresh. The hamachi was overpowered by the vinegar, that’s all we could taste. Then we ordered entrees, I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was sooo bland and unseasoned. Throughout the whole time we were there, our plates were not cleared. Even after we set them all aside. We proceeded to ask for the check and it took over 20 mins, eventually I had to go to the hostess and pay there. Overall very overhyped, unseasoned and not worth the $200 check.

    Hard to find if this is your first time here. Signage at the parking structure is badly needed. Entrance is at 777 S. Alameda St, enter on Center. Park as close as possible to ground level, NOT the address given above. 2 hrs free parking. Restaurants and shops are in back of the parking structure. We sat outdoors and kept swatting away the flies that kept landing on our food. The raw oysters and lobster roll were especially light, fresh and delicious! Will come again!

    Amazing dinner on a Saturday night! HIGHLIGHTS: Great lobster rolls, elote and shrimp tacos. The best: shoe string fries. Fantastic drinks (very strong), good customer service and quick turnaround. We will be back!

    Reservation process was smooth and our table was ready for us. Food: visually very pretty and appetizing, but the seasoning was off for almost everything. We got the large seafood tower—the scallops were sweet but missing some salt, the ceviche & hamachi had way too much acid and that’s it no other flavors came out, the oysters were fine. The lobster Mac and cheese was literally just cheese which didn’t have any creamy depth in flavor. The best thing we ate were the side shoe string fries which were crispy. For the price and lack in seasoning would not say that t was very satisfying. We ended up going to Little Tokyo for a 2nd dinner :/ Service: in the beginning service for drinks were quick and we were able to put in our order pretty quickly. We ordered a second fries but it never came as the server never put in and saw her sitting and chatting with other servers. Finally the manager checked in with us and she put in the fries order for us.

    Had a great experience here early Saturday. The service was impeccable, the food was exactly how I thought it would be - delicious. Overall a fantastic experience. Open table made it really easy to make a reservation just a couple days before.
