This was my second time here. The first time 2 years ago was great. Service was good and food was good as well. This time around starting with the waiters - their vibes were really off, I really felt like they didn't care to check on us, never offered water refills - mind you the restaurant wasn't busy. Every social encounter felt like they really hated their job. Food was ok, honestly overpriced for their lackluster Lobster and crab quesadilla. Noise level was moderate.

I was born in Los Angeles over 80+ years ago on the Eastside of the City approx. 5 miles from the RowDTLA and I remember my parents frequenting this area for weekly produce, fruits, nuts and selecting our annual Christmas tree directly from the trains that brought them in!! This revitalized "warehouse" area is a hidden jewel and a pleasant surprise; unique high-end, upscale businesses and restaurants. My parents would be greatly surprised and shocked to see it today!!

I used to love this place. Lack of foot traffic has really diminished quality. Food was so underwhelming- lobster roll was tough and greasy/soggy. Oysters were not great, my daughter ordered the steak frites and 50% of her steak was fat and meat was chewy - not fresh. Their seafood quesadilla used to be my favorite. It was super fishy and it great. Service was decent. Can’t fault the servers but quality overall has gone down 10 notches…I hope they bounce back

We wanted oysters but didn’t want to drive to the coast. This was nice to find. Lobster tacos, oysters, Caesar Salad. All wonderfully delicious! Plants around outdoor seating added to the atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Great oysters and other seafood in various presentations. Nice choice of raw oysters (two Virginia, 1 Baja), good salads and other preps with novel takes on flavors. Good choice of fairly price wines to match the seafood. Patient efficient service; outdoor seating on a tree and umbrella shade sidewalk makes for a nice summer lunch

Booked an early table for brunch, chose the patio under shade and not noisy. Wait staff were friendly and efficient - advised us re different oyster types. Food was really good although disappointed that both their salads were "off" as they had not received delivery of kale - server suggested adding protein (salmon) to my choice of roasted Brussel sprouts and it was a good replacement. Happy to go back..hope full menu available next time and definitely an "early" booking as it became very busy and people without reservations had no chance.

The atmosphere and food were both pretty good, but the bartender serving us was horrible. She spent the whole time talking to and making drinks for her 3 friends. She could not be bothered to talk to us or do anything for us. This is with a sum total of 5 people sitting at the bar. Fortunately we were able to flag down a waitress to help serve us at the bar, even though it was not her job. The bartender was so bad we never want to go back to this place.

It was hard to decide what to order so we shared 2 delicious dishes: Shrimp & Grits and the Lobster Roll. Also, shared the Caesar salad. Everything was wonderful. Will definitely be returning.

The food was mediocre and the service wasn’t great. Our waiter wasn’t attentive, took a long while to take our food order, after we received our food he didn’t check on us until we flagged him down for the check. And It wasn’t crowded early evening.

My first time going and I was pleased. The food was very good and love the many choices to make. However, downfall was the cocktails. We sampled three different cocktails and were disappointing. They lacked flavor and alcohol too, which was surprising given the detailed description on them. I would have ordered my drinks, but choose go with water instead.

Craved raw clams and found myself at this excellent establishment. Super cool location in LA- it has a Brooklyn, NY feel. The service was wonderful. The prepared raw dishes on the medium sized seafood tower was over sauced (scallops & prawns/shrimp) than my liking but it has potential. Shrimp and ceviche was more cooked than I prefer (I like both translucent); I prefer cherrystone raw clams but Manilas were better than nothing. I could also use brinier, east coast oysters but all in all, my cravings were satisfied, especially because it’s hard to find raw seafood on the west coast (not like the clam and oysters bars in the east coast). The lobster roll was divine. Their wine list is superb, as well.
