Staff is awesome, we decided to sit at the bar, they are very carefully seating and felt very safe inside. The food is always delicious and the old salts are the beat oyster value in town.

Here is our 1st restaurant I visited in Charleston. After all I stayed for 3 days, but this is the best oyster bar, which we totally satisfied.

Hands down one of the best places in Charleston to get some good seafood. I have had plenty of shrimp and grits in my time, and by far, this is my favorite. The bread flight, grilled oysters, and baked clams were fantastic appetizers. Our server could not have been better. My wife and I ate here about 2 years ago (we would go more often if we didn’t live in Charlotte) and it was an amazing experience. It isn’t often a restaurant lives up to that standard a 2nd time, but these guys definitely did. I can’t wait to come back again.

Not the most amazing food for the price that was paid. Still good seafood though. It was kind of quiet for a Saturday night during peak time.

The food here is always perfection. It's easy to run up a big bill because you just want everything on the menu! Also, so impressed with how well the staff knows the menu inside and out. Every ingredient or detail we asked out, our waitress knew without having to run back and ask the kitchen. That's the mark of a great restaurant.

Ate outside socially distanced.....view of parking lot. Happy from COVID point of view but not as pretty as inside...Food and service were great. Husband had shrimp and grits, some of the best we've had. Complicated flavor from black garlic. Really good grits too. Loved my oysters and the fish of the day preparation.

We sat outside which was great. Inside would have been way too loud even with the limited number of people allowed in during COVID 19. The wait staff was very friendly.

The positive experience started with the friendly service. Then the food came and it was outstanding! Best baked clams we have ever had. Only wish we had wss that yhe martini came in a martini glass and not a coup glass. Awesome overall dining experience. Cant wait to go back!

We really enjoyed the food overall, particularly the mussels and the flounder. I found the grilled oysters to be delicious as well. Sometimes wine lists can be generic. This wine list was varied offering some of my favorite 'below the radar' wines to choose from. Service was clearly well trained. I had a great evening!
