Raó Restaurant "where fine meets casual". We offer Modern Gourmet Tapas & "Platillos" perfect to share (or not!). The restaurant situated on one of the most emblematic streets of Barcelona, very close to Plaça Catalunya (Canaletas!). Our chefs can be seen through the open kitchen preparing contemporary local dishes. Raó restaurant has 3 zones: a cozy spacious salon with a comfortable sofa and marble tables; the bar and a private dining area, decorated with modern Graffiti "Girl at the Window" by Salvador Dali. We were so impressed with Rao! The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. Everything was superb! One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Memorable!

Visited Rao last year and just had to come back! The food is amazing, tasty and well presented. Each dish is served with an explanation from the waiter. Great wine and cocktail list to accompany the meal.

The food is amazing, tasty and well presented. Each dish served with an explanation from the waiter. Great wine and cocktail list too! So good we went twice in as many days! Perfect evening, will definitely return!

Traveling from Toronto to Barcelona. This was our first meal in Barcelona and by far the best we had ! Service was 5 star, food was 5 star. Multiple workers served us and greeted us. Making sure our experience was memorable. You have to try the roast beef w mustard ice cream. Mind blowing flavors !!!! One of the dishes I’ve ever had. We happened to stumble on this resto via open table and so happy we gave it a try. We even tried to go back our last day but sadly they were closed on Sunday :( that’s how much we loved it !!

Brilliant tapas, using some traditional staples but adding some inventive twists. Slow cooked beef and pork were excellent, as were scallops.

What a great place! The food was excellent, and the service attentive without any pretention, which we appreciated. We had been traveling around SPain and Portugal three weeks by the time we dined here, and they still managed to wow and surprise us with the inventive combinations. There were also many healthy choices, which was wonderful. I highly recommend this place, and reserve early. We saw many people turned away.

One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in a while. Food was fabulous as was the service and the ambiance. We split 4 dishes and all were outstanding. Such interesting and flavorful plates. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Barcelona.
