We had a 1 pm reservation for this past Sunday but the restaurant was completely shuttered and closed. I don’t understand why they would take reservations when they knew they were closed.

I made a reservation through Open Table for 4:15 PM, and when I got to the restaurant at 4:15 PM, it was closed! I'm not sure whether the fault is with Rangoon or with Open Table, but Open Table shouldn't present as an option a time when the restaurant isn't open!

Ate at Rangoon last night after attending a dance concert at the Joyce. Everything was delicious, and each dish had its own unique flavors. We had the Disco Fries, Tea-leaf Salad, Curry Lamb, Ginger Beef, and Garlic Noodles, plus the coconut dessert. The first three were my particular favorites. Service was very attentive and helpful. We were there late, so the noise level was, blessedly, quite low. Cant wait to return to try some of the other things on the small but intriguing menu. Definitely my new favorite restaurant in an area filled with very good food.

Rangoon serves delicious Burmese food. We liked the tea leaves salad, lamb curry, skewers, and cold noodles. There is happy hour from 5-7pm which includes majority of their drinks on the menu. Come hungry and ready to explore!

We had a large party (9) - the response from the restaurant when I booked and expanded the reservation was prompt and positive. We sat at a large table downstairs, had excellent service, fabulous food (we tried almost everything on the menu) and all of our guests raved about the quality and selection of food. The drink menu was also fun to explore. There’s something for everyone, meat, fish, veggies and mild to spicy. Highly recommended!!
