Randolph Beer, located in the Little Italy area of New York City, is one of three locations of restaurants within the Randolph group. The rustic, hip atmosphere features unique elements, such as stools made from half barrels. The friendly and knowledgeable staff is glad to help customers navigate through the expansive list of over 60 beers. Randolph Beer serves the beer is specialized glassware designated for drinking draft beer to ensure great taste at every sip.
Classic bar fare with a modern twist pairs perfectly with any of the various drink options at Randolph Beer. Popular options include such items as pulled chicken empanadas, hush puppies and crispy calamari. Salads and burgers are also available. Randolph Beer also offers a bottomless brunch on the weekends featuring mimosas, a variety of food options and a signature brunch punch for a set price.
It was a quaint spot to grab brunch with old friends. The Brunch Menu is nice, and if you want to do the 2-hour bottomless brunch your entire table has to do it. There are options of beer and punch for those that do not like mimosas and Bloody Mary's. Our waitress was very attentive as well.
Overall it was a nice restaurant. I stumbled across this spot because it popped up on a "Best Burgers in NYC" list and I can honestly say it did not disappoint. The burger was great. I also had the soft pretzel which was OK, but nothing I was brag about. The beer list is decently extensive and I enjoyed that it was broken out into different styles ranked by how heavy they are, though I found the beer a little expensive, even for NYC's standards.
The restaurant was a little dark, I definitely had to use my phone to read the menu, but the decor and ambiance was nice and the place seemed packed for dinner time. I would definitely recommend this spot solely for the burger and beer selection.
Great place for groups. Had to change my reservation several times and they were super accommodating. Food is great, the bulgur and kale salad with shrimp, fried chicken sandwich, fish tacos and Mac and cheese were all big hits in my group. Great selection of beers and really cool vibe.
I've been here a few times. It's a good place if you need to find a table in a pinch. But it's not a must see.
The issues I have are that 100% of the time they are out of several drink or menu items. And service can be sort of slow. Every time our server took drink orders, she got to about half of us and then sped off. It was weird. If they can improve menu and service they could rank much better on my go-to list.
We came here for New Years Day brunch and had an awesome time! I would like to say that we were especially impressed by our server Miranda, who was outstanding in personality and service. We would come back for that burger, the great brunch special, and to see Miranda! Happy new year to all!
Excellent for brunch!
Waitress/hostess was great - attentive but not hovering - but food was eh - sort of pub ish
Randoplh Beer was a last minute find for a 6 person reservation on a Saturday night...eek. When we got there at 7:30 the place was quiet. From earlier reviews I was expecting it to be more crowded and louder. Within an hour the noise level raised, but we were still able to hear each other even if we had to talk a little louder.
The menu is quite easy. I had the fried chicken sandwich, which was phenonmenal. And the waffle fries are too good.
The only complaint was the waitress-she was a bit brusk. Luckily we didn't need too much attention, but something to consider.
Would definitely come again.
Amazing burgers, food and beer menu!
A great place to gather your friend and family for a drink or a dinner. The food was delicious and just the right portion to fill your hunger stomach. The beer list was outstanding with many choice but all the tap beers were great. Will love to come back to try other good food and drink. Very cozy and romantic place for us. Love that wood looking.
Mentioned the dinner was for a birthday on a Saturday night and they made a birthday sign and were very accommodating and easy to work with as the bar got busier. Amazing staff, great food and beer. Also really delicious homemade caramels. Highly recommend.
I randomly found this place on a list of new spots serving brunch so my friend and I decided to check it out. It's an unlimited drink brunch for $35 and includes all the best brunch cocktails including a custom brunch punch that was super refreshing and not too sweet. The menu is a great mix of healthy options and your traditional brunch wants. I had the veggie burger that was completely homemade and had FULL veggies including mushrooms, kale and corn. One of the best I think I've ever had. My friend had the kale/veggie hash that had a really great depth of flavor. We have added it to our list of absolutely must come back spots (which is a short list)!! The staff is super nice and attentive but not overly so. Definitely make a reservation if you're going for brunch as this place does get crowded. Absolutely recommended and can't wait to go back!
We had the tacos and the sliders, both were good, the lobster roll was delicious. The hostess/waitress was super friendly and helpful. The beers were amazing and the list was extensive. There was a bluegrass band there for happy hour, which was fun, but they were a little loud. Very relaxed atmosphere, no rushing, and no pressure to order more.
Although I had been at Randolph's twice before, my friends hadn't. The sheer noise of Friday evening was almost overpowering at times (we had an 8:00 reservation), but since we were three and seated in the front next to the window onto the street it may have been somewhat less deafening.
My friend's hamburger did not come medium rare, but medium well, unfortunately. But an exchange was courteously provided, and satisfaction was achieved.
My friend's boyfriend, however, was delighted with the beers he chose, and even though the pulled pork sliders were a smallish portion, they tasted great and he was pleased.
Food was very good - the evil spouts were delicious. Great beer and wine selection. The only thing that wasn't great was how loud the music was playing and the smoking on the patio. The music was so loud our server was basically yelling and we had to yell to talk to each other. The patio area is open the restaurant and someone was smoking which blew in to our table. Overall it was very good and I would definitely go back but, not if I was trying to catching up with friends as we were this time.
Yes, their beer list is the core of their attraction. But the ambience is also attractive, as is their decor. Really nice servers, and attentive management make fir an uplifting experience.
We went at 6:00 on a Saturday night with our two young kids and had a great experience. The bar was already packed but the service was quick and everything we tried was so good...and we tried a wide selection of items from meat & cheese plate to burger, pork sliders, kale & grain salad, brussel sprouts, etc. The beer was also quite good.
Definitely not a spot that screams 'bring your kids here' but the tables are at the front of the space and the bar in the back so it was fine. Only downside is that we were sitting under the speaker and the music was blasting. We will definitely be back soon!
It's hip, fun and has an amazing beer list. Complement that with top notch eats and you should be good to go. Service was non-pretentious and comfortable. You do you Randolph.
Most delicious burgers!
Randolph is a rustic, down to earth hot spot for folks who appreciate good craft beer and simple yet satisfying food. We arrived within minutes of happy hour's end and were able to score a deal on beer. The stout was delicious and filling. Our food took a little longer than normal to arrive, but we didn't even notice. We were lost in conversation and enjoying the vibe, which is cozy and friendly. So when our waitress treated us to a complimentary small glass of beer, we were surprised but appreciative. We tried several beers over the course of the evening and each was truly unique. The grain and kale salad was amazing, and the bangers and mash quite delish. If we lived in NY the Randolph would be on heavy rotation.
Wonderful experience for our first visit! The waitress was very knowledgeable in the suggesting beers and food, she was very helpful! The pretzel appetizer was delicious and the burger was outstanding! Can't wait to return!
Bland egg scramble, undressed salad, no tea on hand... Overall poor experience for NYC.
Have been here a few times and it's a nice little spot. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. They have a great beer selection and a neat matrix on profiles of the beers.
Great food, GREAT beer list. It was, however, deathly hot in the restaurant. We asked them to turn the AC higher, but we couldn't feel any change in the temperature.
Went to this place for a glass of wine before a wedding then went back to try the food a few days later with a small group of friends. Delish and fun - low key vibe. Liked it a lot - will return.
I was saying goodbye to a friend who was about to catch the Chinatown bus home, so location was the first factor in trying to find a place to eat that wasn't Chinese food. We love craft beer and enjoyed trying different kinds on the menu. The food was awesome as well! I can't wait to come back and try other types of beer. The ambience is fabulous and it was the perfect cap to a great weekend.
The place is was understaffed when we went on a Thursday night for dinner. It took a so long to get the menus that we grabbed them ourselves. The waitress was curt when she finally got around to us (groups of 5 or more include 18% gratuity) so she was getting tipped regardless. She didn't write down any of our orders - no upside in doing this. She forgot what beers we ordered and then gave us attitude when it took forever to get them; she even asked one of the guests why he was upset and if he needed a "time out". Once she realized we were not happy she tried harder to be more amiable, but the damage was done.
The food came quickly and was great, but the service left a lot to be desired. Would go back for beers but not to eat.
Still one of my favorite spots in the city for consistently amazing food and beer (and I have been to A LOT of places in the city). I love their highly curated beer list, organized by type on a coordinate grid-of-sorts.
Stopped in at Randolph Beer for dinner and drinks before a show at the Bowery Ballroom. Must say that the food was pretty great. I had a Chopped Chicken and Avocado salad and my friend had the Kale & Grain. Top that off with a couple of beers and it wad pretty great. The only issue I really had with the place was how loud it was. I couldn't hear my friend very well throughout dinner, which was fairly annoying. Our server was quick it being another round if beers but nothing special.
This is the kind of place where grown-ups go to dine and drink in Williamsburg. Great atmosphere and supreme customer service. Top-notch.
We took a chance on this Chinatown spot because we needed to nab a table for six on short notice, and this place popped up. Apparently things heat up a little later in the evening, so at 6pm, we had our pick of several tables. Our waitress was a gem and provided us with plenty of beer samples (they have an awesome selection), then hooked us up with our choice of half-price happy hour craft brews (avail til 7). She also recommended we try the fried chicken thighs, which were delicious. But the cherry on top was the cookie cake topped with candles that they brought out for my boyfriend's birthday. Consider us regulars from now on!
This is definitely becoming our go-to hangout. Love the ambiance and I recently ate there for the first time and had no idea the food would be as good as it was! Those french fries are dreamy!
This place is great. The Grain & Kale salada is AMAZING. Have been here several times just for that dish. All around, everything on the menu is good here. My only negative: Sometimes it's a little bit too loud and the music has been cranked up to high to really hear your conversation.
Reserved a table for 10 pm arrived beforehand. No hostess to check reservations. Waited for ten minutes and was never helped. Bartenders payed no attention.
It was super loud. As in, you could barely hear the person sitting next to you and are forced to shout every word. One girl at the bar (about 20 feet from our table) was literally screaming her stories to her friends, and the table next to us was doing similarly. I left the bar well fed but hoarse. The staff were wonderful and very attentive despite it being super busy and completely packed, the food was good... but I won't be going back on a weekend night. It's just too damn loud.
Nice bar/restaurant with vibrant music, good service, lots of beer to choose from. Was a bit quiet that evening, but it was a monday so that is to be expected. Food was good, simple and well executed.
One of the best curated beer menus downtown and the pub food (even for this vegetarian) is terrific! Even when it is hectic, I've never felt ignored by the waitstaff.
A 19-piece (yes, 19) impromptu bluegrass band broke out after we'd finish dinner and entertained the remaining diners (less than 19 of us, likely) with many songs. Enjoyed every minute of it, and had to pull ourselves away around 11:30, else we would've been there all night!
A friend and I came for dinner. I like the interior, a nice casual ambiance. The servers, both our waiter and the hostess were kind of rude, almost as if they were just trying to rush us through the meal and then out. The food was all good, the lobster sliders were heavy on bread light on lobster salad, so I wouldn't recommend getting those unless you really just like toast. I won't come back because the people working here were rude. Our waiter was annoyed that I wanted to look over the beer menu instead of just ordering the pilsner that he recommended. He was aloofly rude for entire meal. Too bad, because I wanted to like this spot.
Great food. Very good service!!
Loved the variety of beer and the recommendations from the server.
