Poor. Got there and there was a sign stating that they were closed for a private event. Saw several other couples who, like us, had “confirmed reservations” only to find that they were closed for a private event. So we went next door to “The Local” and it was awesome!

I love round tables and we were seated at one w/o even requesting one. Nice menu variety. Great
prices for down town.

Dropped by to watch a Vikings away game. The atmosphere is upscale but still welcoming of fans in jerseys. Food was delicious while at the same time being beautifully plated. Servers were friendly and came by quite often to check in while we stayed for the game. Overall great experience.

Great place to watch a game and its pretty low key for a downtown place. Interesting but good food selection. Everyone in our group was happy with the experience.

Decent sports bar with the usual number of tv's and a game room on the upper level. Food was good with the usual menu selections. Service was good but it was not busy.

Great time. Watched the Vikings beat up on the Rams. John Randle was there and mingled with the crowd. Food was very good. French dip was one of the best I've ever had!

Food was not good. Had salmon which was lukewarm and came with an unappetizing slab of plain white rice like Minute Rice. Also lukewarm. Edamame was supposed to be sriracha edamame but had little flavor and was very over cooked. Side salad had mushy, bad-tasting tomatoes. Delivery of food was not timed well. We saw our food sitting under lights for long time. It was not busy in the restaurant so no excuse. Waiter brought check and did not offer dessert to r ask if we wanted anything else. Had expected a much nicer experience for a new restaurant in such a prime location that uses a Viking name.

The food was very good - we had a group of 6, our first time at Randal's and everyone enjoyed the food and the restaurant. We went there for a birthday lunch but will definitely be going back.

Food was good, service needs much improvement. Had reservations, first ones inside and seated, waited 20 minutes before our order was taken. Everyone that came in after us was eating long before us. Once food arrived, waiter never came back to check on us. We had to flag him down for the check. Wasn't even very busy, reservations unnecessary. Too bad, would like to see this place succeed.

Menu items were very random (Mexican, Asian, American...).

Appetizers were very good, meal portions were a little small.

I just assumed a place named after John Randle would be a little more "Meat and potatoes" with bigger portions.

Great time at Randle's. Best way to describe is an upscale sports bar and grill. Multiple food choices on menu from great apps ( we had quest, calamari and lettuce wraps) . All were excellent with a little different flare than standard of each. Then we had sushi and was very well prepared. Full beverage options with lots of original cocktail options and revolving tap beers. Plenty of TVs to watch all the games as well. Highly recommended

We decided to give Randle's a try before the Vikings game on Sunday 9/24 - its was his 60th Bday! He's a huge Vikings/John Randle fan. Cool! The location is great, cool vibe, great TV Setup.

However - I'm unable to recommend Randle's and will not be back. We arrived for our 9:45 AM reservation and put in our food order shortly after. 11:30 rolls around - still no food! At this point we were going to be late for the game. I'm sure there is a good explanation for this, but almost two hours? The restaurant did not seem to be that busy either. If you want a meal and drinks before a noon Sunday kickoff, Randle's is not your spot. You will be late for the game.

Randle's has potential - I hope they get it figured out. Could be a really cool pregame, postgame spot.

The food was excellent, but the restaurant was out of coffee and ran out of iced tea during our visit. Instead of not charging us for the iced tea, we were still charged full price despite only having one glass. We were told they ran out of coffee the previous day, which begs the question why they didn't just go to the store and buy some to get them through until their next shipment. It took 20 minutes to get a refill of diet coke, which was needed to continue eating my meal (food tasted great but unfortunately got cold). Have been here a lot but this last experience was not a good one. When I asked the manager for diet coke (I got up and walked to the kitchen prep area because there were three managers there) she seemed upset I bothered her and said she will get my server. Why the manager can't help when they are busy is beyond me.

Rooftop kitchen was closed and we were bummed about that. Sat out on the patio in front of the restaurant. Table was wobbly and had a lot of dirt/dust that needed to be wiped off-(I was wearing a white cardigan and it got dirty). Nothing special about the food at all. Over priced. Underwhelmed

Menu is uninspiring. Either just serve cheap bar food or stand for something great like high end best in class burgers or a sub segment in your menu that is a differentiator {like some key thai dishes from your Ling & Louie's days or be a destination for Gluten Free with dedicated friers, spicy fry dishes, amazing GF burgers, etc).

I sat outside, so no sports bar atmosphere, yet had to eat average sports bar food. Nothing felt special or unique. Why eat there unless sitting inside (so I can see TV) while Vikings are playing?

This was my second visit, and I have to admit, a disappointment. It was the first Sunday of the 2017 NFL Season, and I had called ahead to make sure they had the NFL Sunday Ticket, which they did. I had a party of 10, and got there early to pick the best spot to watch the most games. What I found was a manager? who had zero customer service skills, and couldn't be more rude about the whole situation. I got responses of 'we know what we're doing,' 'we can't make everybody happy,' and my favorite, 'restaurants have lots of moving parts.' Our server was great, but also frustrated because management wasn't supporting her or her customers. All we wanted was a different game on the 4 or 5 TVs in our immediate area. Not brain surgery, but beyond this group. When the early games were ending, and the late afternoon ones were starting, a different manager went to change EVERY OTHER TV IN THE PLACE, even where there were no customers, before coming back to give us the games we requested. Way to treat a party of 10, eating and drinking at your establishment for 6+ hours! I hope they get their act together and realize WHY people are there on NFL Sundays. I'm glad I don't need to go back again this season, but I'll see if they get another chance next season. It's a shame, because it's a cool place, with decent food, and should be an awesome location to watch all the games. Growing pains are expected, but rude is just unacceptable.

Wait time throughout was a nightmare. Busy Friday night. When we were seated, the host said he "hoped" we would get a server soon. Wait - what?! Wish we had realized what a warning sign this was and left right then.

At our table, waited 20 minutes before flagging down a server to say we didn't have a server yet. He said there were only 3 on that evening - on a busy Friday night! This is either extremely poor planning or poor crisis management on the part of management. Managed to get drinks but not the water we had requested with the drinks. It was well over an hour before someone even took our food order. If we weren't having such a lively conversation, we probably would have left by then.

When they took our food order, we mentioned that we had been waiting over an hour, and they said someone would come apologize. We received our food in a reasonable amount of time after that. It was very mediocre American fare. Someone asked if the manager had stopped by, and we said he/she hadn't. Finally, a guy did stop by, we told him about the wait time, and we received a verbal apology and only a slight discount on our meal. Paying didn't take too long - go figure.

I would not go back, not even on a traditionally slow night. The food wasn't worth it, and the way they handled the service issue could have been worse but didn't impress me at all.

Beautiful interior with big windows that open up to the patio, so if you are not lucky enough to get patio seating at least you will feel like you are out there. Our waiter was friendly but kept disappearing for long periods of time. When we were leaving they had him serving both inside and outside. The menu is confusing and not very descriptive. Nothing special popped out that we just had to have. Food was good but not anything we would go back for. Just more of the same as all of the other restaurants in the area. Lots of tables were ordering appetizers and sharing.

Went on Thursday evening. Was not busy and seated near the bar but very tough to get service. Drink orders were very slow after ordering. Was charged for an item we tried to order (chocolate cake) but they were out. Didn't notice it until afterwards. Due to technical issues had to run my card twice and give me two receipts as they could not charge over $100. Hopefully just ironing out the kinks. All the food was good.

The food here is so flavorful I want to go back for more and try another dish. I went with a small group after work to the rooftop and had a great time being up top. The atmosphere is very leisure, comfortable seating, and service was very good. I've also been here for lunch. I had to be mindful of my time away from the office and I was in and out in an hour, which was perfect.

While the roof deck was nice, it wasn't better than other options along Nicollet mall or Hennepin. The drinks were on par but were perhaps overpriced by $1-2 per cocktail for what we got (margarita, vodka martini). The real downer was the sushi. There were good options on the menu but it just wasn't that good. Even the slicing of the rolls was uneven and the end pieces were so small they couldn't be picked up with chopsticks. Just not that great. Bummer...I was excited to try this place. Might give it another shot but with lower expectations.

The experience at randles was lackluster at best. Right away the server let us know that the bar was running slow. Based on our observation of the bartender it was clear it was just him running slow. It took over 20 minutes to get drinks. Over an hour and 10 minutes to get 2 meals and 3 apps. We got the 2 meals first, and then 2 apps 10 minutes later. We had to ask for the 3rd app. 1 of the meals was not edible, and after complaining they took it away and took it off our bill. They did not offer something else in its place. The other meal was cold. We ordered a second round of drinks which took another 20 minutes. During our time here, we watched several parties leave after waiting to be served. A trip to the restroom let me see many meals just sitting under the heat lamps with no one running them. The only person who seamed like they were in a hurry was the host or manager (not sure which). He was waiting tables, bar tending, clearing plates and seating people. Chances of me going back to randles is slim to none.
