Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Legit! It was fantastic.
Great place for an evening with friends and to celebrate events. Great steaks and good seafood!
Amazing service and food!
Food was absolutely magical
I had been looking forward to eating here for a year now with the pandemic. It use to be one of the best steaks I had eaten anywhere. However, this time was different. Our server was great, but the food was sub-par for the price I paid. The sides were like they had been prepared earlier in the day, and just re-heated...thus they were void of much flavor, and very dry. Especially the mac and cheese, which was suppose to be one of their specialties according to our server. The steaks had good flavor, but were a bit tough, stringy, and more gristle than expected...especially for a high priced steak. And the Brandy Ice we shared after, was just basically a scoop of ice cream with some caramel...very little else.
There was suppose to be "socially distanced" seating, but by the time we left...almost all tables around us were full of people, not even every other table. And we ate very early to try and avoid this
I use to love the Ranch for special occasions and great food, but this visit was more like what I could have had at Outback, or Western Sizzlin....except for the $250 price tag.
I'm not giving up on the Ranch just yet, and am going to chalk it up to the Pandemic for now, but I have to say I was very disappointed to spend that kind of money for the meal we were served this time.
Excellent service with good attention without being intrusive. Food prepared very well and to each diner's request as ordered. Outstanding steaks cooked to perfection as always. The brussels sprouts were the only thing that was disappointing - nicely seasoned but not cooked sufficiently so tough to chew on about 2/3s of the serving. Garlic mashed potatoes excellent. Atmosphere of this restaurant is always inviting and relaxing.
Excellent food. Great service. Lots of delicious sides! Caesar salad was really great.
The Ranch, at one time, was a nice restaurant where you would wear decent clothes. Tonight we had reservations after Easter services and we were absolutely disgusted with the attire of the customers. A group of 8+ sat behind us with a screaming baby!! REALLY!! This should not be tolerated by the restaurant!! Our tab was 400+ for 3 people and we listened to a crying baby!! Our waiter was lacking-had to ask twice for bread, salt & pepper.
Our food was good but the ambiance was AWFUL!!
People dressed like they were straight out of the gym!!
What is wrong with people and The Ranch?? They should have a dress code!!
We are DONE with The Ranch!!
Too many bad experiences!
Had birthday dinner, the service and the food were both fantastic! Hard to beat that Dry-aged Porterhouse! Creamed Corn was out of this world. Will be regulars.
Catered to keep us warm on a nippy evening!
The ONLY negative was the steak was heavily gristly.
My boyfriend and I came for my birthday. We wanted to get one dessert to share, but we wanted 2 different things. My boyfriend caved and let me pick, so when the waiter brought out the dessert I picked, he also brought my boyfriend the dessert that he had wanted and gave it to us for free! The service was fantastic and my boyfriend said the banana foster was the best dessert he’s ever had!
The waitstaff and the food were both perfection! They do not disappoint on any aspect. I highly recommend.
We love the Ranch. Always top notch service. Top notch food. Never disappoints.
Definitely prepare for an expensive meal, but WOW was it worth it!
we decided to go sit at the bar as we arrived 30 minutes before our reservation to have a cocktail befor our meal. the bartenders were great and helpful. This was our first time doing it this way. We had let the hostesses know we would be at the bar. Our reservation was at 8 and they did not come for us until 8:20 if we knew it was going to take so long to get our table even with a registration we would have gladly just eaten at the bar. We finally got to our table and our server was helpful in a way he just had the facts memorized. we asked him for his thoughts and he went right back to the facts on steak (we are big steak eaters and already knew the difference in rare medium rare etc) so our questions were not really answered. The mac and cheese was delightful. My husband almost chipped his tooth on a roll the bottoms were as hard as a rock. My husband enjoyed his filet it was cooked correctly. I had a strip (my fav cut) It was tough and chewy it was like running a saw through it to cut, it did have great flavor though. Our server had a 3 table section and we saw him a total of 3 or 4 times maybe. I had high expectations as this was my first time to try your establishment.
This is the place to go for a great steak. The folks there are always friendly. All the food is amazing.
Our favorite place to eat. Server is excellent: everyone food but mine was great. They had to recook mine multiple times. Finally brought me out one perfect. Still worth 4 stars...
Been to the Ranch many times and it has always been good. What made this special was our waiter Tony. Been there for a long time but made you feel comfortable and he enjoyed serving us. One of the best waiters we have ever had. Food was OUTSTANDING!! Cannot go wrong going here.
Great dishes. And friendly staff! Relax environment for a nice evening out.
We enjoyed our anniversary dinner very much. Service was impeccable. Food wonderful. It’s not cheap. But very good. Our 1st steak was a little over done and the waitress noticed right off and fixed it immediately without us asking.
Disappointing. Food was not what you would expect for a highly rated steakhouse. Sirloin steak was cooked rare, not medium as requested. Filet was bland. We were there to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. We had a good time nonetheless.
Was really excited to try this place. The waiter was nice. And the food was okay. I was actually really disappointed. Considering the price point I thought the steak would have been a better quality and flavor. Tried it once and that was enough for me.
Excellent food and service. Pricey but very good dinner for special occasions.
We had a wonderful dinner! The service was awesome and the food was delicious!!!
The food was delicious the service was great it is great food at casual enough to be comfortable there in the bar
Great service. Steaks were tender but ribeyes had a lot of gristle. Bread pudding was too strong with alcohol.
Otherwise it was great meal. Brussel sprouts were fabulous!
Went there for our anniversary dinner. Enjoyed the surf and turf. Crab cakes were really good! Enjoyed the drinks as well. Very good service!
Food and service was as many stars as you could get!!!! Best steak either of us have had in years. Pricy but arguably well worth it. Only negative was a group of about eight men who looked liked they had just gotten off a construction site-two of them wore their ball caps throughout dinner. A five star restaurant should have some semblance of a dress code. Alas, money wins out.
Always love the Ranch
The Ranch has always been our go to restaurant for steak before the pandemic, but the last 2 times we have been there for dinner, the bone-in ribeye we always order has not been a good cut of meat. The steak, cooked medium rare, has been tough, hard to even cut with the steak knife. Just last Saturday night, the food sat too long before being served--the food on the side sampler platter was barely warm (usually the vegetables are too hot to take a first bite). The steak platter which is usually extremely hot was touchable. The service was excellent and the wedge salad was perfect. We won't be back any time soon as the price for what we paid for dinner was not worth the quality of meal we've had in the last 2 trips.
The food was wonderful and the waiter was outstanding. I would definitely recommend
Good steaks. Good service.
Yummy desserts. Love the garlic butter topping on the steaks.
Food and service were excellent! Best steak I’ve ever had.
Amazing food and even more amazing service!!
Great service. Little disappointed with dressing on the salad.
Make up date for Valentine’s Day and Anniversary
Our meals and service was top notch in all regards. Everyone enjoyed it and we will return in the future.
