   The burgers are a little too large for this 55 plus senior But the chicken strips were excellent. The service was good and the staff was very nice. I would reccomend this rest. to anyone.

   Overall very good dining experience. Service was good, the appetizer and dessert (something like Cowboy potato skins and turtle cheesecake) were awesome! There is a $25 corkage fee though.

   Disappointed the food and salad, bar bread, etc. that was there when they opened was not available at this time. Very disappointing probably would’ve gone to Casper or Cheyenne for dinner versus coming to Rannahands.

   Our first time at Ranahan's and it did not disappoint! Nice atmosphere, very good service and the food was excellent. The beef was delicious and cooked perfectly. We started with the Bomber Shrimp and they were wonderful. We will definitely be going back.

    Our 3rd time here in 8 days. Y'all are doing steaks just right. Friday, I had the prime rib. It was the best and cooked to my preference. Keep up the good work, guys. When we have guests, this is where we bring them. Our only complaint was the music was too loud. We asked if it could be turned down and our request was met.

    After making reservations for a birthday and asking for a standard seating they wanted to seat us at the bar. When we asked to move to the dining room they tried to convince us we really weren’t in the bar. Eventually moved us into a booth in the dining room next to a work crew who were drinking and loud, then four more of the crew came in and they added another table for them so that they were literally sitting at our table yelling at each other. We could not talk to each other for the noise. No one offered to move us to a quieter booth (there were 6 open). Service was slow and unprofessional and the food was mediocre at best.

    I have been in multiple steak houses all over the country. The atmosphere makes or breaks the restraunt as well as the quality of the food. Your establishment hit all elements of what I am looking for. Great atmosphere, great service, amazing food and quick friendly service. I will definitely return!

    Much better than my last visit, though I played it safe with ordering chicken fingers. Service was ok, our server did check on us fairly often. Happy to say this visit improved my overall opinion. Sad it is so far away, not enough options anymore in our own area.

    Staff very friendly and courteous. Food was very delicious. Salad Bar had a lot of choices and was very fresh. Portions on Prime Rib are very good. Cooked correctly. They have fresh breads to choose from on the salad bar. We will definitely eat there anytime we are in Douglas

    Excellent from start to finish. Great shrimp appetizer... about the best salad bar anywhere. All our steaks cooked to our order. Rancher steaks and prime rib. Prime in my top 3 all time best prime rib. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend Ranahan

    Took out of town guests to Ranahan's for dinner. We started with an order of bomber shrimp. The jalepeno bomber sauce was the bomb! Staff was scrambling to keep the salad bar stocked. The ingredients were fresh and cold (as they should be). Most in our party ordered a steak. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. One of our party had the prime rib. It came out very rare, although he ordered medium rare. The waitress offered to have it cooked more, but he declined. Other's had no complaints about their steaks. We all shared one piece of the no-bake banana creme pie. Banana creme pie is my favorite and it was excellent. On a side note--back in September, we brought one of our guests to Ranahan's for dinner when they came to town. The waitress remembered him from that visit! That says a lot about that waitress's attention to detail.

    Ranahan's was a good family experience as out of town guests taking parents and sister and her husband to dinner. Food was delightful. Salad bar was extensive and provided fun combinations. I enjoyed the prime rib and cheddar/bacon grits. A satisfying and delicious meal.

    They ran out of prime rib for their Mother’s Day Buffet at 4:30 without saying something at the door about it being limited. They also didn’t have any turkey which was the other main course dish. We planned a week ahead for this occasion and met relatives from Casper and we drove from Wheatland. We also had to let a server know we hadn’t been helped after sitting there for 15 minutes. It is a beautiful building and restaurant with a lot of potential but we won’t be going back anytime soon after this visit.

    Website advertised the Sunday Brunch at $24.95… with a peach milkshake, bottomless coffee, and hot fudge at dessert bar. We were charged, not $25, but $38 each!! Server said it’s because it was Mother’s Day, but food choices were same as website! Also got charged for coffee (no bottomless cup included for us), no peach milkshake and no hot fudge. I wouldn’t mention the coffee, no peach milkshake or no hot fudge if it had been the advertised $24.95… but for $38 I expected what was promised. We’ll probably not be returning…
