We made reservations for your Sunday Brunch for 5 of us....2 celebrating birthdays. Everything about our experience was EXCELLENT!! The server, the music, the food was delicious!! The environment was very happy and inviting.
Thank you for the extra steps you all took to make this a great experience for our family. We will be back many times, I'm sure.
The apps were fantastic and the service was great. 5 stars for the bar. That being said the shrimp and grits was more of a soup with spaghetti sauce. I wouldn’t order that again.
Great service & charcuterie plate was on point! Will definitely come back!
Met a friend there for dinner. There was music playing in the next room which makes it a bit harder for seniors with hearing loss to hear conversation at their table. Perhaps something a little quieter would be better for dining.
I cannot review the food, as we left before ordering. We went for happy hour, only to find out they weren’t offering one. It was advertised on the website and open table, but waiter stated it ended in February. The waiter was the rudest I’ve ever encountered, so we left. Probably will never get to find out if Ranada’s food is good.
First time here! The shrimp appetizer was great! And the Nashville chicken sandwich had a great flavor. The fish & chips were just so-so. Service was fair.
Had been dying to try this place and it did not disappoint. The cocktails were excellent, food was amazing (we had a the spicy burger, steak panini, Brussels, fries and toasted ravioli). The service was great and ambiance perfect. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Our experience was lovely. I was only disappointed with my shrimp and grits. Was not expecting it to be smothered in tomato sauce which ruined the dish. I’ll be back for sure, but I won’t order the same dish.
Always enjoy our food at Ranada’s!!!!! Great waitstaff and nice, casual, fun atmosphere!
Food was cold. The limited menu was horrible. . The server was more interested in impressing a few of the men at the table then serving us. This was my 5th time there and based upon the inconsistency of the place it will be my last. When I spend $600 plus I expect a good experience.
I have been here several times and I am never disappointed. The menu is always updating with fresh new ideas, and fresh new cocktails as well. I have also been here for jazz brunches and the quality of the food is not compromised by being served buffet style. I highly recommend Ranada's.
A good overall meal. Our server was very good and friendly. The filet was cooked to the right temperature and flavorful. The halibut was seasoned well and tasty although the succotash lacked seasoning. The fried ravioli and desserts were excellent. I look forward to trying again.
Food was great. Sever - Josh - was fabulous. Only negative was noise level. Pretty loud.
I made reservations for February 15, and there was no notice on the website about a set Valentine menu. We were surprised when we arrived and could not order off the regular menu. There were 5 of us in our group, three of whom had never been to Ranada's before, and I suggested we go because my husband and I had been there numerous times and liked it. The valentine menu was very limiting especially for those with dietary restrictions.
Our server, Josh, was great and took good care of us. The wine was good (we had a bottle and 4 glasses), and the fried chicken was ok.
I made reservations for Valentine’s Day after looking at their menu online. I was excited to try a new restaurant! When we got there we were seated right in front of the door and under a bright light making dinner slightly uncomfortable. We were also right next to the musical performer that night. She did a beautiful job but being right next to her was too loud. I was also disappointed to see a small special Valentine’s Day menu. It only had a few options and they were all pricey. I was really looking forward to trying some of the options on their everyday menu. My date got the friend chicken that was almost $30 and he said it was dry. Overall, I thought the food was average for being so expensive and I didn’t care for the environment. We probably won’t be back anytime soon.
Visited for Valentine's night dinner. Both of us enjoyed apps, drinks, entrees, and desserts. Everything was accurately well-prepared, and interestingly different. Inventive menu, with unusual flavor touches and imagination. Mixed drinks were surprisingly delicious! Only drawback was that the violinist couldn't be heard for the music playing over her.
Wait staff not knowledgeable about menu. Service was quite slow. Food was pretty good. Not much ambiance. Staff didn’t really seem to care.
We enjoyed this restaurant several times over the last few months and continue to be pleased. We almost always go with one of the night’s specials. At the server’s suggestion, I tried their ‘table’ red blend and was pleasantly surprised.
Chose this place based on great reviews. Reservation was easy and have availability at the time we wanted. The place is in good location, downtown but away from the crowds. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The drink and food menu is great. Service was awesome. The food is great. Finished with a pecan pie based desert as per our server recommendations and it did not disappoint. We loved the experience and we will be coming back.
The food was excellent as usual. The service due to short staff on a snow day was below the standard experienced in the past.
Not to worry. We’ll be back.
The jazz band was great! Our server was excellent!
The food was amazing (shrimp and grits and steak). The service was also phenomenal. It was quite loud with the Kentucky game on the television, but our server immediately moved us to a different table and reduced the volume on the television.
There were so many good choices on the menu. We will definitely return.
Lots of issues with menu availability.
Excellent vibe for an adult night out on the town. The food was quite tasty and creative. A tad expensive and the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.
Great food - timing was a little off. We had a large group and our food came out over about a 15 minute span. A little awkward for a business lunch.
I generally don’t care for buffet meals and didn’t realize this would be the offering when I made the reservation. The buffet did have several nice and somewhat unique offerings (i.e. shrimp & grits, roasted brussel sprouts) and everything was well prepared. We’ve eaten dinner here several times and have always has great service. Not today! Our server was inattentive and we felt like we were being rushed to leave almost from the moment we sat down. There was a large group seated in the same room,, they were having fun so the noise level was quite high today. We’ll go back for dinner but I would not go again for Sunday brunch.
Always a delight to eat here- food cooked perfectly, Jazz music playing, and excellent brunch drinks available. All you need is good company and your set!
The entire meal was outstanding. Food quality was excellent and very fresh. Server was quick and personable. It was a great way to wrap up our visit to Lexington
Food and service was outstanding. We hope to visit again soon.
Lovely environment and spectacular food! Bill was the best server! Everyone in our party was pleased!
Celebrating a birthday- Food was good - fries a little cold but overall everything was good!! Free dessert for the birthday boy and it was outstanding !
The staff was very friendly & took great care of us. The food was outstanding & we will definitely go back again
Our server, Jeff, was outstanding! The food choices were wonderful and those martinis delightful! Will return again and again. Thx. Art
We were there on early on a Tuesday and minus the excellent brussel sprouts, the food wasn't as good as usual. I would definitely go again, though as it is usually very good. Fridays are very noisy.
Very good food. Awesome price for Brunch Buffet. We always get an awesome server! Would go every week if time permitted.
Birthday/post Wedding Brunch. We were the noisy ones Wonderful experience. Lovely music, great food.
Skip the Brunch Buffet. Nothing special, pretty bland is the best way to describe it. I’m sure the normal menu is better. Service was good and everyone was nice.
We were pleased with our visit. The food was fresh and delicious. The waiter was a bit scatter brain but we tolerated him.
