   Had a great time at Ramsi’s, even though my date cancelled late. Her Mom was sick. So sitting at a table alone, lol. Glad I didn’t bring her flowers. My server was Scott, who was very professional and personable. Made being ‘stood up’ easier, lol. I went with his suggestion, the Z-man steak with roasted potatoes and spinach Alfredo. Had a glass of Chardonnay. For dessert, I headed to the bar where Nizar was bartending. He can always make you smile, and makes awesome drinks. The staff at Ramsi’s is extraordinary. It’s very obvious that Ramsi’s wants to ensure a memorable, pleasant experience along with great food. I rarely eat red meat, but glad I made the exception!! Highly recommend Ramsi’s Cafe, and commend the staff as everything was excellent

   We had a great time and enjoyed our meal, but we arrived with a reservation and had to wait about 20 minutes or so before we were seated so that was a bit disappointing

   Waited awhile to be served, server was dressed in joggers like he just got out of bed and acted as if he did not wasn’t to be there. Was on a date so it was actually embarrassing considering this used to be one of my favorite places. Hopefully you guys tighten up the dress code and treatment of people who support your business.

   I am always amazed at the diversity of the menu at Ramsey's. The food was excellent, well prepared and plated and very flavorful. Our server, Sol, was attentive but not over bearing. He made excellent recommendations for our food and drink choices. Ramsey's was a great spot for an fun evening.

   Had a great time at Ramsi’s this evening. Had dinner at the bar, quesadilla with mushrooms, awesome. Nizar was bartending, which always is always a fun time. Service was excellent, drinks were concoctions Nizar created and now my new favorites. Met several friends while dining. Lots of regular patrons, and always some visiting the city Ramsis reputation precedes their visit thanks to great reviews, and no one is ever disappointed. Highly recommend Ramsi’s, best restaurant in Louisville for sure.

   We had a reservation at Ramsi's through Open Table, arrived on time, and still waited over 45 minutes to be seated. I checked in as usual, and was told they were getting tables set up. It was quite busy, so I gave the hostess time - she was quite busy. When I finally went over to her again at the pleading of my three boys, she seemed perplexed, and then we were very quickly seated. I do not know what happened. The food was overall very good and it is nice to see restaurants busy again. My oldest son Loved the ribs. This place was busy (Saturday), just wish we had been able to be seated a bit earlier than we had. The restaurant was close to our Airbnb and so we walked. I would go again if it was that convenient to where we were staying.

   We had family in from Knoxville and wanted to show them a Louisville original with unique foods. This was our first choice. They loved the decor, the staff, and especially the food. The waitresses recommendation for the tuna was awesome! Thank you for making this a wonderful dining experience for our guests.

    Thank you Open Table. I knew Ramsi’s would be packed St Paddy’s Day, so reservations were definitely needed. We arrived early and had a drink at the bar, then decided to dine there as well and gave our table to a young couple from out of town. Service was excellent, our entrees were great, and bartenders really made us feel at home. Our drinks were special concoctions the bartenders created and were very good as well. This is a local family ran business, and it’s obvious they want to make everyone’s dining experience special. Ramsi and staff - thank you. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back.

    Ramsis is on the decline. My wife and I ordered our favorites, the lamb chops and the Thai peanut noodles. The lamb was overcooked and very dry. The pasta for the Thai noodles was overcooked to the point where it was almost a paste but the tofu in the noodles was barely cooked at all. The waitress kept "topping off" my wife's hot water for her tea... which of course kept diluting it to the point it was undrinkable. I tried to explain this to the waitress, and she was dumbfounded. This used to be our favorite restaurant.

    After watching St Patrick’s Day Parade, we made our way up to Ramsi’s, one of our favorite spots. The service and food were excellent. Side note, I'm always impressed by a server who can remember everything our table ordered without needing to write anything down. See ya next time!

    Ramsi's is always an incredible experience. Delicious food (tons of vegan, veg and gluten free options), attentive& knowledgeable staff, beautiful atmosphere. And if you're really lucky, you will see Ramsi himself! There is something for every palette at Ramsi's. I can't recommend it enough.

    A friend wanted to meet for dinner and hadn’t been to Ramsi’s, but saw my Facebook posts, lol! She loved it. We split the quesadilla with shrimp at the bar bar since we arrived early. , bartenders were great, as were the drinks. When seated I got the Salmon Sonesta and she got mr crabs grouper. Both entrees were great. We split the chocolate pate, my favorite dessert. She’s Another Ramsi’s fan for sure! Our server was very helpful, and personable. Highly recommend Ramsi’s, as the ambience, food, service and cleanliness make for a pleasant experience.

    For us, this was a one-night-stand during a three day road trip. Read the reviews on OT, checked out their website, and made a reservation just before checking into our hotel for the night. We found it a delightfully fun and warm environment. Full of engaging conversation on an ordinary Tuesday evening. Clearly a neighborhood hangout people love. Food was fresh, creative and delicious. Prices very reasonable. Recommend.

    We had a 6:15 reservation and we were seated at 7pm; our food was disappointing and so was our waiter. I will say the 2 hostess at the front door were very kind and calm with a lot of angry people trying to get to the theater

    Hostess and waitress were great. We’re big fans of Ramses. Been going forever. My go to choice is the Cubean Black Bean Burrito. However instead of the typical queso this time it looked like a yellow cheese sauce that was premade. It was disappointing. I hope the old queso returns.

    We ate on the patio, which had heaters, but it was a little chilly. Food & drinks were very good, as was the service. Lots of variety on the menu, so everyone found something to their liking. All and all is was pretty good, but I would have rather eaten inside.

    Took my date to Ramsi’s, her first time dining there. Always a warm greeting from the hostess, then the unique ambience that reflects art from around the world. Since we arrived early, we had a few drinks at the bar where the bartenders were both talented and personable. Some awesome drinks created by the bartenders themselves. Really good. We were seated and our server was very pleasant, as well has helpful with entree suggestions. Our meals were excellent. She couldn’t get over portion size and quality. Fine dining at very reasonable prices. Always has been my favorite restaurant, and a great choice. I finished my dinner, she saved part to take home. We split the chocolate pate, which is an amazing dessert Overall, our experience was perfect, and Ramsi’s now has an additional fan.

    Went with a group of 4 on a Saturday night. Ordered curry paella, tuna tartare, and pollo. Food was excellent, service was friendly and responsive. Also had 2 desserts. I recommend the Arabian sundae. Will definitely go again.

    Very cool out of the norm decor. Very close romantic feel. Food unique and yummy. Everything I wanted and then some! Crowded for Valentine’s but not a bad wait or too crowded. Service was outstanding and food came out quickly!

    Had a great time at Ramsi’s, as usual. The menu is extensive, with entrees from around the world. They cater to any food preferences, whether vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc. The staff is always willing to make every event special. The establishment is family owned and operated, and it’s obvious they take pride in their restaurant. From the time you enter the restaurant you notice the ambience then a warm greeting from the hostess, more ambience and great service. It’s a local favorite, but usually has many folks visiting Louisville that have seen great reviews. It’s neat to hear their reactions, first seeing the menu, then later the portion sizes, and then you hear the compliments. Definitely a place to visit, and I guarantee you’ll be back.

    I’m thankful Ramsi’s is a stone throw from my house, but worthy of a long drive. The ambience impresses all patrons, and it’s easy to spot a first timer, lol. They spend time looking at the art work and remnants from around the world. We ate at the bar today. Bartenders are great, with both drinks and suggestions. Dinner and drinks were great. Another plus, the other patrons. There is always a diverse group, and all seem very impressed

    I felt the staff was hovering and waiting for us to pay and leave. The hostess must have checked a dozen times to see if we were still at the table. There were plenty of other people eating. I might have read her wrong but as we were leaving, her demeanor did not change.

    Food was unremarkable and slightly over salted. Service was absolutely dismal. Taking 20+ minutes for our drinks and 17 minutes when we requested a 2nd round. Can’t say I’d recommend or visit again.

    Visited while in from out of town. We used to live in Lou 25 years ago and this was a favorite spot. Still great! The reservation list was behind schedule and we had a bit of a wait but the staff were super gracious and the owner himself waited on us when we were seated. Definitely still a great place worth its reputation.
