Food was excellent. The real issue we had was that we sat for about fifteen minutes without any attention from service staff. People who came in after us were eating before our order was taken. Once a server did arrive (I don’t think it was his table), service was good.

What an amazing dining experience! One of the best Ramen restaurants that we have experienced. Everything was perfect. Definitely a “must go to” in Chicago.

Decided to make a late-night reservation at Ramen-San and it did not disappoint. Decided on a couple of pork belly Mantou Buns and Sticky Thai wings both were phenomenal. The wings came with a small dish of pickled Daikon which was ridiculously good. For the main dish my son ordered chicken shio ramen and I ordered the 10 hour tonkotsu ramen. My son isn't a huge eater and he finished the chicken shio because it was so good. The 10 hour tonkotsu was melt in your mouth and packed with flavor. One of the best ramen experiences I've had. Next time I'm in Chicago, I will return to Ramen-San.

For my money the best Ramen in Chicago. A more gourmet experience on Ramen, packed with flavor, heat and goodness. I bring friends here from out of town or those who have never been here. It may be a bit loud for some, especially the music which is louder than at a speak easy bar, but I don't find it to be at annoying level where you're struggling to have conversation at the table. The service is better than adequate, very pleasant experience with the host, servers, and cleaning crew. Come give it a try!

Service was phenomenal. The ramen special was not as advertised. The chorizo was just ground pork. The herd salad was just parsley. Not appetizing at all.

Great food not any different than any other ramen restaurant except higher prices. Drinks were excellent! Kudos to the bartender! Buns were sticking to our teeth which was very unusual. Seating very uncomfortable and not a lot of room on the high top tables for a party of five with 3 adults and 2 kids but they accommodated us at one of two larger booth style table that became available at the right time. Overall food tasted great! And the location is the fantastic River North.
