It was great! Hands down, a wonderful experience. Only reason I have a 4/5 for service is because I saw the servers serving less than 150 mL of wine per glass. First with me and then to my closest table. When I challenged the says that I didn’t think it was more than 90-100 mL, they filled some more. My neighbor felt worse - he told me. He was calling the manager as we left. Just a small hiccup for an otherwise great experience.

Absolutely a delectable experience! One has the choice of ordering from a pre fixe menu or go the a la carte route. We chose the latter and every dish was excellent in terms of flavor and presentation. Highly recommended!

El lugar, agradable y con suficiente espacio (no mesas tan pegadas). El servicio bueno, solamente fue incómodo como el encargado regañaba a la gente de cocina. Los cocktails buenos (passion sky y Saint Germain Spritz). La comida rica, los elotes tiernos de entrada nada de especial. El taco rosarito y la sopa bicolor ricos. Lo que más nos gustó fue el pescado mil hojas, diferentes y con muy buen sabor. El pecho de res, más convencional pero muy rico. Los postres, novedosos y ricos (Ixchel y tamal de chocolate)

Excellent service and very knowledgeable staff. Best of México. Nice upscale interior and low background noise. Very fine menu and preparations/presentation. Also a great wine list and excellent selection of mezcals.

Raíz es un gran lugar para degustar creaciones diferentes con bases mexicanas. Aunque he de decir que esperaba que el menú de degustación de 6 tiempos tuviese un tono más mexicano. No obstante, no decepcionó excepto el postre que nos sirvieron (el sexto tiempo) que era una panna cotta de mamey. El sabor del mamey se encontraba demasiado perdido y la combinación no fué exitosa. Por lo demás, el tiradito de kampachi, terrina ed foie gras, el pecho de res entomatado, la enmolada de escamoles, el pescado a la talla, todo con sabores y presentación muy buenos y la enmolada con un sabor memorable. Mención especial tambien al pescado a la talla. Sorprendió porque como pescado muy bueno con frecuencia y éste fue especial.
