Took my family there last evening to celebrate my daughter's 8th Bday. My kids have never been, and my wife & I have only been once, years ago at the Orlando location. The theme is still cool, but that is about it. I ordered the Steak, Ribs, & Shrimp trio. Food was good, but my plating was HORRENDOUS! Our service was decent, not exceptional, for a place like this. My wife added the occasion to our reservation,, but we still needed to notify servers. It is not the worst place to go, but it is the little details that are missed that could enhance the experience greatly. Was not a bad time overall, but not at those types of prices.
Kids loved the Rainforest for celebrating their birthdays. Adult food was mediocre. Our server was great!!
Fun experience for our son’s birthday. The food was okay for the price. Portions were very large. The wait for our food and dessert was pretty long… but I think a lot of that wait is due to staffing, which is difficult everywhere right now. Otherwise it was great!
1 star is still too high of a rating for this establishment.
We had reservations for 6:30, arrived ten minutes early, and still waited another 30 minutes for our table.
We placed our drinks and food orders pretty quick, and at first our waitress seemed attentive, but that quickly changed.
Thirty minutes pass, and we haven't received our food. We have to flag her down to get refills. An hour passes, we flag her down again to ask where our food is. She says she'll check on it. An hour and a half passes, we're obviously growing impatient, but politely ask where our order is - she says she'll check on it. Two hours after we ordered our initial drinks, I just tell her to bring us our bill for the drinks, our kids are fussy, we've waited 2 hours while watching larger groups with other waiters/waitresses fulfilling their customers orders, and we still haven't gotten a response to where our food is.
After saying I wanted the check, there was an obvious change in attitude in our waitress, she then decided that she cared about our business - which resulted in her bringing our table another parties entire meal... Which none of it is what we ordered. We told her again that we wanted the check, and she just took the food back to the kitchen.
Waited another 10 minutes, and a different waitress said "hang tight the manager will be here shortly" - news flash, the manager didn't come, only the waitress.
She then told us that there was an emergency in the kitchen, someone had a seizure, and our food got lost. Funny how one tables entire order gets lost but every other table of yours gets their food and leaves int the duration of our stay?
The manager finally decided that they should talk to us, and all we got was "I'm deeply sorry for your experiences tonight" really, that's it.
Needless to say, I'll never dine at the Rainforest Cafe for as long as I live.
Enjoyed the atmosphere but food was ok nothing special
We had the worst service we have ever had here yesterday. Drink glasses sat empty MOST of the meal. I had ordered the strawberry lemonade and it was mixed at the bar. What a JOKE! It was nothing but sugar water with strawberries. No lemonade whatsoever. Those are not cheap drinks. Limit of two. I asked for a refill just to see if that was a mistake. When I finally got it via another server, it was undrinkable too. Sad, sad, sad.
It was an excellent experience, Food was very delicious, My wife and I both had pasta dishes and we had quesadillas for appetizer. Awesome fish tanks and the Atmosphere was awesome.
Annie provided great service as always but I am an LSC member got denied a booth in the section I wanted cause Savanna didn’t want to give me one. Other than that everything was good
Our waiter Matthew was outstanding. He had several tables but none of us had to wait for anything. He made sure all of our food was correct the drinks were filled and the cocktails were what we wanted.
All the food was delicious that we ordered. Kids were happy.
I have been coming to this restaurant many, many years. My kids loved the atmosphere when they were small, and at one time the food was good enough that we would eat here again and again even though we had already had "the experience." The food quality has declined significantly but the prices have increased. The service was great, but I would not recommend eating here and will most likely not go back again.
I’ve eaten at this location 3x and at other Rain Forest locations around the country. This
Location is overdue for a major renovation and update. It looks very tired, worn and almost dirty.
Our meal was really bad…and I’m not picky. It took 48 minutes to get our meal..party of 4. Entirely too long with small children.
I love Rain Forest Cafes ….this location needs some serious attention.
My husband's cheeseburger was suppose to be Medium Well, but both sides were crusty/black. When he ordered, he specifically requested that the cheeseburger
not be burnt. He sent it back and had a club sandwich which was delicious !
Our waitress - Liz - is fantastic !
Haven't been to a Rainforest Cafe in about 5 years. Meh, very much the same. Still that tourist vibe at the mall. Very loud, sounds echo, hard to talk to one another.
Food was terrible and service was very slow. But neat atmosphere, definitely only paying for the view.
Fun for the family! Very quick, which is important when with small children.
I am not sure whom my waitress was but she needs a raise. I left an extra tip just because of one statement she made at the very beginning. She asked if it was our first time. I replied yes and she said have fun explore and male memories this is your journey no one else's. She lit up my daughters world. I can not thank her enough. That touched my heart. Thanks yall
Food quality could be improved.
The hostess up front was less than helpful. Almost missed my reservation because she said I would get a notification of when my table was ready. I never received a notification and went back to check after 10 minutes past and she said to go ahead and go back to be seated. They acted like they had to find a table for my family because they seated two other groups before me that
had checked in behind me. The server was very nice and energetic but the food was nothing I would be coming back for. Was not impressed with the value of this restaurant.
Our server wasn’t attentive in the least. We had to ask for things, then at times ask again. (Basics such as napkins once our food arrived.) The food is mediocre at best while INCREDIBLY overpriced. They capitalize on tourism and the ambience (albeit outdated and dusty). This particular location has next to no rain features which leaves something to be desired. In all, it’s really not worth it.
When I arrived it took someone ten mins to come and greet me, then we were seated. When food arrived it was cold and the burgers were burnt and the shrimp was over cooked with no seasoning. The alcohol beverage drinks were my favorite. The atmosphere its self gives you a rainforest vibe.
Beware if you are having a birthday, they will charge you even if they tell you it’s free.
The atmosphere was great. My five kids really enjoyed the animals and all the sounds. The service was alright; our waitress was very busy with many tables. My husband did not like his steak and one of my children didn’t like his pizza, but other than that the food was alright. Overall, it was a good experience, but not one that we’ll do again any time soon.
You could tell the staff is working very hard to service every time. If you’re definitely shortstaffed and I really truly hope that the bathrooms will be better maintained in the future. There was light smell coming from the ladies room that was not good.
Great place to eat! The food was great, service was good!
The food was pretty good but the waitress looked pretty warm out. The food was overpriced though the experience as fun.
This is a fantastic place, very whimsical! It seemed like a good place to celebrate birthdays, as there were probably 3-4 birthdays in the house. The food and drinks were great! They did seem understaffed, which didn’t affect service that much but our waitress seemed kind of frustrated.
The entrance had a few security guards because I think a lot of juveniles hang out there at the mall. Overall though, super great experience!
Amazing atmosphere. Great for families or just a date. I highly recommend the BBQ burger it is delicious!
Best 1st Birthday for my baby boy! Great service and the staff listened to my requests. Was a fantastic experience and the food was great! Thank you!!
The waitress was terrific, she was very curious and checked on us a few times
My salad was lacking. Maybe 1/2 a chicken breast on a lot of iceberg lettuce. I Actually ended up grabbing a sandwich at my hotel because I was still so hungry. My coworkers fish and chips was good and my guest had a spicy Korean dish that was overly saturated with sauce. The ambience was fun but didn’t make up for the food
Great family atmosphere and kids would love it! Staff was excellent, friendly and helpful!
Rain forest cafe is so fun for a special family lunch or dinner. Highly recommend going here!
Nice place to go for kids , as they make like the ambience. Food was typical , close to like a Chili’s. Service was subpar but I do account this for the overall service industry dip because if COVID and restaurants being short staffed.
Service great. All staff great. Food mediocre. Prices . expensive.
Great, fun atmosphere. My son loved it and was so entertained he didn't ask for his tablet. Fish tacos were ok. I'll order something different next time.
It was just fair! The environment was great! The whole look of the restaurant and the aquarium entrance was beautiful! That was what I most enjoyed! However, the food was bland my fries were good!
Was the best experience I’ve had in a long time.
Everything was great! Service was friendly and prompt, food tasted great. The only negative to the trip was the prices, but you’re also paying for the experience. Family had a great time and we’ll definitely return!
We took our granddaughters to dinner for Grandparents Day. John and his team made it a perfect event. The food was very good and our server exemplary. The girls loved the ambiance.
