Rainforest Cafe - Opry Mills
Beer battered & fried, jalapeño ranch dressing, red cabbage, pico de gallo, black beans
Plant based patty, Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, pickle
Very fun for kids. Food was average quality. I would expect better quality fir the high prices.
The littles loved it and the food was good. Best to make reservations and appreciative for them honoring our request to be near elephants.
Took my grandsons, we haven’t been to Rainforest Cafe for 11 years, since Disneyland. It brought back so many wonderful memories of our trip. I live in California, and there isn’t one near Rocklin.I wish we had one.
The food was over cooked and under seasoned. The cocktail was not mixed properly
The food and experience was amazing. We went for my daughters first birthday. She loved it and had a good time. I was super happy to take her somewhere due to Covid parties are not a good idea so this was a good replacement
Was seated on time and food was good
Great place to go in Family. The food is amazing and people is very gentile.
We had a great time with our 2 yr old granddaughter! Can’t wait to visit again
We enjoyed our trip. The service was good, food was pretty good, and the atmosphere is the best!
Food was excellent and the staff was even better!
We had a reservation for 5:15 and received a text at 5:00 that our table was ready. We were seated and then it took almost 15 minutes for our waitress to come over and even ask if we wanted drinks. After we got our drinks she took our order. We didn’t see her again until we were finished and ready to get our checks. She asked if we wanted to order anything else and we said no. As she brought our check she brought 2 drink refills which were the first refills we received during our entire time there. Throughout our dinner we had kids constantly running around and two were even next to our table and in our personal space while we tried to eat. We tried to be understanding but the kids were like that throughout the entire dinner. In addition to that, the service overall was just very poor. We will not be returning and we were not happy with our experience. I would not recommend it to anyone who is considering. We paid what we usually pay at a nicer restaurant to get subpar food. We weren’t expecting anything fancy but it wasn’t even standard for what they usually offer. I have been before and this experience has made me decide to stop returning for good.
Best meal of our trip! Always great atmosphere and fun.
Received text that our reservation had been moved up 15 minutes (30-minutes prior to reservation) without our permission. Fortunately, we were nearby and could head that way. Service was poor and the restaurant was not full. The quality of the food did not match the price we paid. We only saw our waitress 3 or 4 times in 90-minutes. Our food was not brought out at the same time and my son’s food arrived long after everyone had finished eating. Neat atmosphere with animatronics and “thunder storms”, but probably at the bottom of our “return” list.
Very cool place to eat. But the food is not very good. (Could have been just a bad experience) But You are paying a high price for the cool scenery. It’s one of those done it once…cool…won’t do it again.
Food was great but the restaurant was under staffed leading to a long dinning experience.
We were seated quickly. The restaurant was showing its wear. The server was polite and friendly but seemed rushed and hectic. Place could use a thorough scrubbing. Decor could use an overhaul. The food was over cooked, dry and unappetizing (fajitas and kids pasta and Dino nuggets. My youngest (8) thought the place looked cool, but spent the entire evening on the toilet forgetting about the anamatronic (sp?) elephants. Meal was cheap, in comparison to the Gaylord hotel prices. I would have happily paid three times as much for something delicious.
Had to ask where our server was. No refills were offered, never got our appetizers. Food was a long time coming to our table abs was just ok…
The food was not good. We felt rushed and was not worth the money at all. Would not go back
Good food. I think our waitress was Tina. She was great. However, it took over an hour to get our food. That was too long.
They appear to be having some staffing issues. There was about a 15 minute wait to be seated past our reservation time and another 15-20 minutes until a server came to our table for a drink order. There were also many empty tables. The server was very nice but the service was very slow and the food was really disappointing. It really wasn’t good and so far it’s been the most expensive meal we have had in Nashville (and definitely the worst tasting.) ,This used to be such a fun experience for the kids and while the food has never been super gourmet, I don’t ever remember it being so bleck.
Food was really delicious and portion sizes are too big. Service was fast and kindly.
Everything was horrible. I asked for root beer and got brought a bud light. I had to send my steak back 3 times and the manager was arguing with me about it.
I love the ambiance of this restaurant. I’ve been to a few Rainforest Cafes but this was my first time in Nashville. Next time I’m in the area I’ll be back. The food was great and the staff was amazing.
The wait was long but the food came out super fast and our waiter was very nice
A little noisy at times when the wildlife (animatronics) get stirred up, or a thunderstorm rolls through, but otherwise normal restaurant atmosphere. The food was very good for both adults and children. A little more expensive than an average steakhouse, but well worth the extra $$!
Overall a great experience. Our waitress/bartender was great. She was slammed with her own section and the bar area but still covered all her tables and was honest about time. Only negative is they would not let us move up our reservation. So we chose to sit at the bar tables. We canceled our later reservation and the gentleman behind us asked for a table for 4 and they refused to give him our reservation. I guess this is their policy but it seems petty and unnecessary.
Cynthia was absolutely amazing. They should have more servers like her. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Lisa and Austin
Such a fun, unique experience. Very highly recommend.
Enjoyed the experience very much! My husband’s chicken in his salad was a bit tough but all other good was very good.
Food was cold, unpleasant presentation, and not tasty. Definitely not worth it! Traveled 200 miles for sons birthday, huge disappointment. Will NEVER go back. Only good thing were the drinks.
Had family visiting from out of state. Went here to entertain the grandson before heading over to the Gaylord Christmas activities. The atmosphere was a real hit with the 3-year old. Food was very good. Our server was super friendly. Over all a great experience. Would eat here again.
Our server was excellent!! We loved the atmosphere,
Food quality just isn’t what it used to be. They need to take a look in the mirror and remember their brand. Quality matters
The hostess that sat us was a sweet and patient. We had to move 3 times because our grandkids were scared of the animals in our section.
We had a beautiful time this was my husband first time and he really enjoyed himself
Our waiter was AMAZING! He definitely deserves to be employee of the month if you all have that.
Food is way overpriced and has no flavor! Experience is neat for the little ones.
We were on vacation and it was a planned dinner - delicious and loved the atmosphere! Server was fabulous and very helpful since it was my first time there.
Expensive food that was not quality & I wouldn't return. Nice efficient server. Grand kids enjoyed the atmosphere.
