Rainforest Cafe - Ontario Mills
It was a perfect experience! I can’t wait to go back already!
You forget your in a mall which is great, seating's towards the back so no ones staring at you eat. Server was a bit rushed, wasn't packed so it was unnecessary to walk away when i wasn't done ordering. Overall great lunch. Tried something new on the menu which was different but really good. Ordered the BLUE MOUNTAIN CHICKEN SANDWICH, tastey chicken sandwich. Amazing Artichoke dip...had to order one more because of how delicious it was. Great little menu. Adult beverage was also made with love. There also was an independent balloon artists which my son only works on tips but i paid generously because how sweet and talented she was. Thanks for having us!
It was an ok experience. They were really understaffed. Our server was also the bartender and I felt really bad because she was constantly running. She tried her best to provide good service but it was clear that she was overwhelmed. The food was ok. It is overpriced for what you get. The bathrooms were disgusting though. They were so dirty with trash everywhere. They really need better management and more staff.
Trying to get someone to seat us was just sad. No one seems to be around and when there is they are just confused. It is almost as if they don't know how to seat people at tables
Birthday lunch for my daughter. Great atmosphere, we all loved the scenery and animation of the animals, thunder and shooting stars. Food was delicious, a little pricey but good.
Celebrating stepsons birthday. Service was great and seemed very clean
Dinner was very enjoyable. It was my 4 yr old grandsons birthday, and they did a wonderful job making him feel special.
My corn chowder was Luke warm.. sent back 2x.. still was charged full price.. fries were soggy like a wet sock full of grease.. on 3 meals and the dessert 180.00 really!! Still couldn’t get a manager to our table!! Will NOT RETURN!! And it should have been the best experience and food should have been ON POINT bc of limited people in the restaurant.
Our dining experience at Rainforest Cafe started out fine. We were seated promptly and the waitress took our orders for drinks and an appetizer. However, after our drinks and appetizer came out and our waitress took our order for our entrees, then it all went downhill. We didn’t see our waitress come out until about 45 minutes after when she came out with our food. After, she never checked on us. I had to somewhat shout at her from across the room to get her attention and ask for utensils, refill on drinks, and more napkins. The food was okay - some portions of the food were not warm or tasted old. We had come to Rainforest Cafe several times before and have always had a pleasant experience. Perhaps, this was just an “off day” or perhaps they are still adjusting to the new dining restrictions due to COVID.
Food and service was perfect. Very timely . The atmosphere was a vibe.
Our waiter was great, and the food was delicious! I had the poke bowl and loved it. My husband had the chicken taco salad, and my oldest had the bbq bacon cheeseburger. We got the volcano tower dessert and it was yummy!
Everything was just average nothing bad and nothing too exciting.
Don’t do it! By far the worst experience. They didn’t have enough servers because they said in 5 years they’ve never had a busy night. Our server was new and she was rude. Cheese sticks game out 20 min into the dinner like when we received our food. All meals but fajitas sent back for being ice cold. Only positive was the balloon animal. The Anaheim location is much better!
I want to thank our waiter and the Rainforest Cafe staff for such diligent service, especially after having a patron experience a medical emergency. You handled yourselves with extreme professionalism. I was very pleased with your service and would be happy to return again. Our waiter made it especially nice for my daughter's birthday by singing and bringing out dessert. Much appreciated!
It was good but the restaurant seemed a little old and run down.
Service was great the ballon guy was awesome everyone was so friendly the food was excellent thanks for the bday dinner
We loved this evening. I had two Egyptian friends with me and we were seeking fish and chips as they knew that would be halal.
The setting is truly amazing and it was like watching two adults in their forties become little boys again. It would be hard not to enjoy an evening that started with that level of wide-eyed delight. A definite for any visitor to the United States.
I was honestly afraid after reading the other reviews on here about wait times, but they seated us immediately upon arrival and the waiter asked us for our drinks right as we sat down. The waiter was super attentive and it was us who needed more time to order, but the food came out within 20 minutes and on a busy Saturday as well! We got the free photo collage too. A great experience!
Service was slow. We had to wait at least 15 minutes even though I had a reservation. Once seated and once we ordered our order took at least 30 minutes to arrive maybe a little more. Lastly, my Mediterranean chicken sandwich was bland.
Made a reservation and was immediately seated. However, once seated I waited 15 minutes to get a waiter because I asked the hostess who was walking by. On top of that, guests seated after us were waited on before us and it wasn’t the server assigned to us. Once order was placed, it took the food very long. Then food is brought to the table and no one asked if we needed anything else until I grabbed our server who was walking by.
Overall, the food was ok but over overpriced and the kids menu needs a refresh,
I brought the kids here for some fun but the experience will not be revisited.
It was my husbands birthday the service was ok and the place was freezing cold! Been coming for Years, the food is always tasty and all and service is usually great but this time was a bit disappointing.
Our server was MIA most of the time. We had to flag down other servers for plates, silverware, ketchup, napkins.
They ran out of dessert plates, wanted us to eat off of a communal plate. When I said that we needed plates, they said, "fine, but your dessert will be melted". How is either option actually acceptable?
They also ran out of spoons.
Weekends are obviously busy there, they shouldn't be running out of anything.
Service was good, food was sub par. We got the appetizer sampler. Apps were cold like they sat in the window waiting for it all to be completed before sending it out. However it caused some Or most of the items to be cold. Entrees were bland and really nothing special. The ambiance was great kids really enjoyed it.
No fish in the tanks. 15 minutes to be seated with a reservation. Food was cold. Overpriced. Wait staff stretched too thin. Poorly maintained. No wonder so many locations have went out of business.
Food was mediocre at best. Shrimp was overcooked. Appatizer was not what we ordered.Service was poor. bathroom was filthly with no TP. Obviously bank on the dusty anamotronichs to get customers.
