My daughter has been begging to go here. I hadn’t been since probably 1999 around when it opened so I was worried it would seem dated but it wasn’t! We had a lot of fun, my daughter loved waking around to see the animals. The food was fine but that’s not really why you go. Everyone working that day was so nice, loved our server Jaclyn!
Themed restaurant, cute / fun atmosphere. Enjoyed my food.
It is a great restaurant for the family, has a awesome theme and food
Everything was great as usual. The only thing that was messed up was my order I received half of the sandwich I ordered and half of a different sandwich. It was not a big deal I was thinking of ordering the other one anyway.
The food was good. The servers were very nice. They were out of some things. The check in process was kind of crappy. I get that you are paying for the ambiance, but it was seriously overpriced for mediocre food and service.
Not a good experience. The food was not good and came out cold. I realize there is a staff shortage but people around us who sat after got there food before us and two of our meals were salad? Very disappointed
My parents used to bring me here 15-20 years ago as a kid. I loved it. Decided to come back today really just for nostalgia. I knew the prices would be expensive and the food would be Applebee's level but I was excited to see it as an adult.
The place has gone downhill and I feel bad for the new generation of kids who will never know Rainforest Cafe in its prime.
The gift shop is bare bones and nearly empty. They used to sell Rainforest Cafe character stuffed animals but now they're just selling random, cheap stuffed animals not affiliated with the brand. Most of the items being sold here are not affiliated with the brand at all. The gift shop used to be an attraction but now it feels like an afterthought.
The entryway fish tank has had the real fish removed. The other fish tanks in the restaurant have been removed. There are no more live fish in the restaurant at all. They probably don't want to pay the maintenance and upkeep of these. Also the waterfall is turned off.
The restaurant was nearly empty on a holiday weekend which was drastically different from the 2 hour waits they used to have when I was a kid.
In an empty restaurant and during a pandemic, they still managed to seat a family directly next to us in a tight space. We were so close to them that our seats would touch when we would get up from the table. The rest of the restaurant was wide open and it was pretty annoying to be sitting so close to another group. Because there was 0 reason for this.
The appetizers took too long to come out but they were hot. The entrees came out 10 minutes after the appetizers so the timing was off there. Food wasn't anything special as I expected.
Sad to see this fun concept for children treated as an afterthought by the parent company (is it still Landry's?)
This place used to be fun for the whole family but now it's just an expensive disappointment. A casualty of Covid or just neglect? I don't know, but I don't need to come back again.
If I could give half a star I would. Entire experience was very unfortunate. The kids first time coming and it was definitely one to never forget. Cold food, items forgotten and missing with ridiculous wait time. Can all the way from (Maryland) to experience this restaurant
Nice people. Good food. Made my sons birthday special by singing to him and lighting a candle in an ice cream dessert. Thank you!!
Our waitress was great. However all of the food was over cooked. The little hamburgers my child got were rock hard. I remember this place being decent but now I probably won't go back because of the experience.
It is a great experience, mainly for kids. The experiential side of the rainforest is good but unfortunately not well supported by food and service which is not as good and takes the whole value equation down. Worth visiting once if you haven’t been there before. You can then decide whether it is worth coming back.
Food unexpectedly good! Children enjoyed the experience
I loved my meal the appetizers were great. The kids meals were bland. The kids pizza looked like a tortilla with sauce and cheese on it. For a restaurant mostly enjoyed by kids the food should be better for them. The restaurant was understaffed for a Saturday night. You can tell all staff was working hard but they were still understaffed making the wait long for everything, the food, more forks, the bill. Great ambiance. Entertaining for the kids. Clean bathroom.
Waited over an hour for food and it was not busy at all.
Good time. Great service. 2nd time here and still loved it.
Ok but the food was cold and I can see there not doin as well as they use to
Great for kids
Birthday dinner with 8 friends, most of who came to this Rain Forest Cafe for the first time. They all had a blast and a great memory to look back on.
We come here as a family every year for my youngest son’s birthday. It has been a tradition for the last 12 years. He looks forward to it every year and is never disappointed.
We love the Cafe! The food is always very good and my nephews LOVE the decor and all of the animations throughout dinner. Such a fun place to dine at!
there were three of us and it took over an hour to get our food. the restaurant wasn’t even super busy..
A fun meal each time we go. I would recommend to a friend.
My boys and I had a great time. Our server was very friendly.
My family's dining in experience was PERFECT!!! We love everything about this restaurant!!!
Food was awful we was at same place before pandemic food was much much better. . Server was good
Great service but the place is run down. Most of the attraction don't move anymore. Bathrooms dirty and well as the first set of plates brought to the table. The waitress and management both tried hard to provide good service. Restaurant needs an overhaul. Been to other locations and had better time. No fish in the fish tanks. Food was just ok nothing great. No worth the money
A really good and fun place to go with the kid’s.
I use to love Rainfirest Cafe!! However, this was my first time visiting in years & it was horrible!! Some of my food was cold. My chicken was hot on the outside but not fully cooked inside. I will not be back.
Chips for spinach dip was not fresh and also French fries. Steak 🥩 not good at all but everything else was amazing coconut shrimp was delicious
Perfect for kids just upset they didn’t have souvenirs cups and the chicken was not seasoned so great , everything else was okay
It was fine. No issues other than service was a little slow.
My son’s food came out quick but my food came out about 40 mins later and my steak was cold. Good taste, but cold.
Everything was excellent and the service was great!
Some of the animal heads were sideways like they were falling off the wall. The Fountain had no water in it. Fish tanks had no fish just bubbles. Food was VERY slow to come out.
Best part of the night was the brownie volcano for dessert.
Service was good location good food was good.
The restaurant was clean.
My daughter was very excited to have her firework volcano for her birthday dessert.
Everything was wonderful and peaceful
Great service and good food. What more could you ask for.
The Rainforest Cafe is unique and a place you have to visit at least once. The food is good but a little pricey so I suggest to go online to see the menu prior to visit. No bread or chips prior to meal so if you are hungry you may want to consider a pricey appetizer.
