The ambiance is impeccable here. Full of childhood nostalgia, and solid food. Great bonus to take home souvenir cups with a drink purchase.

Loved our server, Jessica! She was very considerate when she noticed that our young grandson was upset during the “thunderstorms”. She took the time to explain that the noise was like a music recording and that the lightning was simply lights blinking on and off. Overall, we had a great food and fun for the kids experience.

When you get seated let them know its someones Birthday, I put it on the Open Table reservation and it was NOT acknoledge

Pros: Atmosphere was fun and clean in the dining area. Service for a Wednesday night was good. The kids really enjoy seeing all the animals displayed. Cons: Bathrooms are not kept up and by evening need a deep cleaning. Kids pasta meal was cold but other than that basic food that tasted fine.

Bianca, our server, was topnotch! She was friendly, attentive, and upbeat. Perfect qualities to be a part of Rainforest Cafe. The menu had a good variety of items. We started with the sampler, which had mozzarella sticks, spinach and artichoke dip, chicken fingers, and chimi-cha-cha’s (egg rolls), which were delicious! For entrees, we had the Bombay chicken and shrimp in a spicy curry sauce. It was quite good, and the sauce had a kick which we liked. We also had the Jamaican Me Crazy pork chops. It was a big portion, and very tasty. The kids menu was a great value with many options. This meal came complete with a fruit option as a side, along with a drink and dessert — selected the ice cream sandwich. Just the right size. I’m a Landry member, which has been a good investment. Every year for my birthday, I get a $25 credit that’s good for a month. The one time membership fee has paid for itself many times. Dan, the manager gave us a welcome greeting and checked in with us. He thanked us for coming when he gave us the check. We felt like VIP’s! We’re glad Rainforest Cafe is still at Menlo Park Mall in Edison. My family and I have many wonderful memories at this fun place, and judging from the crowds, it carries that same tradition for many. Kids of many ages love the sights and sounds. Feels like one is in the amazon. Kudos to Dan, Bianca, and the entire Landry organization!! Looking forward to visiting Rainforest Cafe and the other Landry properties. Wishing you all continued success!!

The place is old, air conditioning was not working and service was bad. It took them 25min after I called a manager to acknowledge we were even there. Food was salty and greasy. Definitely not worth the visit..this place is shutting down soon!
