Always enjoy going to Railway Hotel Fitzroy North. The people are always friendly and welcoming to new comers and the atmosphere is just magical! Food is great with options for vegetarians. I generally go for live music which is always wonderful!

Community atmosphere which includes friendly and efficient service. The small dishes such as pork and veal meatballs are great and filling. Moving on to main dishes such as potato gnocchi or chicken schnitzels. Everything is tasty. Great place for a catch up and a meal.

Praise be - a pub that firstly, does Spag bol, and secondly, doesn’t charge absurd amounts for it. It was delicious too. Loved this place.

The food was of poor quality ..they ran out of half of menu , small servings..very disappointing

Wait for food was over an hour then to be told that they had run out of what we ordered while the table next to us enjoyed the meal that was unavailable When the food finally arrived it was cold , dry and we asked for refund Never to return which is disappointing for a local pub

We didn't eat at The Railway, we went for the Jazz/Blues Band with singer Yolanda Ingley which was great. Sunday afternoon session 4 - 6. Great. Lots of people in the front bar and in the beer garden. The vibe was good. Plus they sell Carlton Draught and Great Northern. Win, win, win.

Great pub with good value delicious food. Specials are always interesting and the Sunday roast porchetta a winner. Fantastic friendly staff.

Great food in a friendly local pub. Real eclectic feel with families having dinner with their kids, friends meeting, and the Friday night beers crowd. Good place, only slight negative was it was a bit cool but it is winter in Melbourne 😎
