Rae’s on the Beach

The food and service was good. The view was wonderful. My husband and I thought it was overpriced for the quality of food. We were dressed summer casual and the people at the table over had tank tops on. I expect more if I'm spending $100 per couple for dinner.

Very easy if staying at Pink Shell. Staff was wonderful. A shame because food was just mediocre.

Great service. Pasta dishes very good. Great view of water and beach ( and sunset ). Difficult to find as it is part of a hotel.

Service was great - Lloyd was very personable.

Warm bread, olive oil, balsamic and Parmesan on the table as you’re seated and we love that touch.

Terrible food and service. I don’t no how this place has good reviews. Pizza was not fresh it’s was microwaved and served room temperature. Pasta was ehhh. My husband steak and our Caesar salad was ok though. The appetizers took an hour and 20 mins to come out since the time we sat down. Our waitress seemed frazzled. The only thing I can say is the manager apologized.

This is a restaurant with a beautiful view and excellent-friendly service. It is moderately priced and the quality of the food is very good.

My Manhattan was ordered UP but came on a large ROCK. Oops!

While all the food was tasty it could have been served hotter but on a busy day of Valentines dinners the kitchen may have been rushed. The meatball was extraordinary but needed another few minutes in the oven.

Very nice wines by the glass list and while the wine list is short it is adequate and reasonable.

Definite will go back.

Not what we expected. Only 2 other tables had patrons. Atmosphere sucked but food was good.

We ate at Rae's twice during our stay at the Pink Shell. Ali and Calin, who waited on us, did a wonderful job. They were quite knowledgeable about the food and were happy to answer any questions we had about the resort as well. It was our first stay at the Pink Shell and having their input helped a lot. The food was delicious and the beautiful view of the sun setting on the ocean was absolutely amazing! We highly recommend Rae's on the Beach.

Beautiful views and delicious food

Service started strong but declined toward the end. Water glasses were refilled while we waited for food for example, but then once the meal hit the table it was hard to get a server to refill beverages again. The ambiance is a conference room turned into a makeshift dining room. They tossed a couple of tv screens on the wall running a fish tank screensaver. Food and drinks were very good.

The salads were good but the main course was mediocre. Tables are tiny and service was slow. We won’t be returning.

This was a nice place to have dinner. I think it is best for those staying at the resort. You can come very casual and I actually was looking for a nicer place. The views were great and the food was very good. Service was great. I would come back but not for a special event like a birthday

Stayed at the pink shell for our 30th Tabby our server made everything special The snapper was amazing!!

Seafood was not fresh. Very disappointing considering the location. I expected fresh shrimp and they were definitely not. Tried another seafood spot a day later with incredibly fresh seafood. Beach view was nice but with the food quality I would not recommend this place.

Great atmosphere. Good food, cocktails and service. Only downside is it's kind of pricey and not a very large menu but I would recommend it.

We enjoyed our dinner @ Rae's--only negative was the rain that prevented us from seeing the gorgeous sunset view that Rae's affords. Rae's food & service was very good--we will look forward to dining there again!

The food was delicious. The view spectacular. The only down side were the rest rooms. Shared with the pool side bar.

Food was pretty good but the lighting is horrible and although our waiter was good it took a long time for the food to come.

Service very slow. Menu limited for Christmas Day. Food acceptable, but nothing special. Had no rare cuts of prime rib. No restrooms close. Had to go down to pool level. Not a good experience and pricey.

Very disappoint it was a fixed menu for Christmas. Regardless the place was not what I expected. Wouldn’t go back.

The best Grouper dinner on Fort Myers Beach. The had an excellent menu selection and a nice wine selection. The mussels were delicious. The waiter could have been more attentive since the soup was served without a spoon and we had to find him. It was not crowded the night we visited so the noise level was fine. The view was beautiful and we will definitely visit again.

Open table should investigate this place. They took my 2:00 reservation. I paid my valets for parking my car only to find out they don’t open for lunch I was told they use the dining room for overflow lunch when I called the restaurant phone number the burger place on the beach answed. The beach menu was nothing like the restaurants that opens at 5:00. I wasted time money and traffic. I love open table I hope you won’t let them continue tricking people by taking lunch reservations. Respectively summited.

The waitress Cheryl was outstandanding and very presonable. Food was not the best. SHrimp and ribs were not very good!

I would recommend, but if you have a better alternate you can consider it.
