Vauxhall to open Radio Radio. The comfortable restaurant is at heart a Nashville style bistro with
Memphis style BBQ, turning out contemporary southern classics (hush puppies with comeback sauce,
fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, Nashville style Chicken and waffles) as well as slow smoked dry
rub BBQ. The menu features local produce, bistro style salads, po' boy sandwiches, flavorful tacos and
house made vegan options. The lively bar scene features seasonal cocktails, local craft beer and wine.
Open Weekdays and weekends for Dinner and Weekends for Brunch, this popular village hang out also features Taco Tuesdays, Waffle Wednesdays and Weekend Brunch with seasonal outdoor seating.
Great food, great staff, great drinks! We were happy to find this gem and can’t wait to go back.
Very good meal. We were a little disappointed with the dry corn bread and the tasteless cold slaw. But the brisket, pulled pork, cat fish tacos and chicken and waffles were all great.
For a Saturday it was pretty quiet for a 5pm reservation. Maureen our server was very friendly and helpful with the food and the drinks. The food was good but I would have enjoyed it more if it was served hot. It was just warm.
Where do I start. Sat a a table for 20 minutes before we were offered water. We had 6;00 reservations, were seated promptly, didn’t see a server until 6:20 and no food until 7:00.
Been looking forward to bbq and this restaurant. What a disappointment. Dry, bland pulled pork and mediocre fatty ribs. All bbq came with corn bread, we didn’t even get that until we asked. We complained to waitress and she said mgr. would come by. Well that didn’t happen. She took drinks and app off bill, but I’d have preferred to talk to manager about poor service.
Well, won’t be returning there.
This place could be much better. The food was very good, the servers were very good - the problem is there was not enough servers for the crowd. We went on a Saturday evening and they had 2 servers where they needed at least 3. There were several times we were waiting long periods of time for drinks, food, refills, etc. Twice we had to wave our server down to ask what was going on (she was extremely friendly just had too many tables to deal with efficiently). Everything else about it was good, but the constant waiting (and we are not picky with that) ruined the dinner.
Loved it!! Didn’t
Great barbecue and southern specialties at fair prices.
One of my favorites on Huntington. Never fails to disappoint!!
Amazing food , ambiance and service! Great gem in Huntington Villiage!
Food/Drinks in POINT. Will be back.
If you're looking for incredible BBQ and southern comfort food with a hip alternative vibe, this is just the place for you. I recommend the brisket, the pimento cheese with pretzles, the grits, chicken... Honestly the list can go on and on because I've never had anything less than amazing here. If you haven't gone yet, make sure you get there. Also, they offer craft cocktails and an awesome selection of beer. If the bar is for you the selections are anything but boring. Great night to celebrate Valentine's day and our anniversary, thank you Radio!
They don’t honor reservations well. We came before our reservation, and they sat two groups that were walk ins waiting in front of us. I’m sure they were waiting a while- but it should be alternating- one walk-in and one reservation.
A lot of the food was not seasoned, but the sauces were good.
No knives at the table, and couldn’t tell the waitress since she didn’t come back till the end of the meal.
Dry ribs, didn’t fall off the bone.
Great hush puppies!
Watery Mac and Cheese.
Wonderful Chicken Biscuit. Moist chicken. Spicy sauce.
Chicken tacos were dry. Brisket taco was tasty.
The food was very good, but portion size was a bit small for the price.
Food was great. Service was great. I will be going back and I highly recommend it!
The food is great. Place is a little loud but no unbearable. Highly recommend.
Service excellent but disappointed by food. Cooked well but kinda bland
Great food and cocktails - highly recommend the chicken and waffles. Fun atmosphere, reasonable prices.
The food here is amazing. I’ve gone many times and always am impressed!
Lots of choices in both beer and food, but they were out of my TX favorite, Shiner Bock. Bbq was average to good. I use Franklin's in Austin TX as the bar for BBQ. Nashville Hot chicken was good, not spicy enough, once again i use Hattie Bs in Nashville as the grading curve for hot chicken, its pretty high. Service was great and friendly.
We’ve come here a few times but had a really poor experience recently. We were sat next to the window on a cold night even though there were many open tables further from the window and door. We were told that they were saving these tables for a reservation. That reservation never showed. Our waitress was attentive at first, but then disappeared for about a half hour and we were left with no water while we ate our meal, as I watched her chat in the back with her hostess, not even to look at our table. The food is excellent. Great tacos and we love the fried chicken and the pulled pork. The Mac and Cheese side was delicious as well. The food always is good, but somehow the service is always lacking.
Always great at Radio Radio and Vaux!
Good fun. Excellent drinks Love the pickle juice
Brisket is A+. Chicken and ribs good too
Good to great food. Good service. A little loud OR empty—you never know.
It’s a nice place with a good vibe.
We had high hopes having read good reviews and loving authentic BBQ. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be. We reserved a regular table - when we got there for our reservation we were told they had a high boy table reserved for us. We said we would wait for a regular table and would have a drink in the meantime. Waited by the bar for nearly 30 minutes - no drink. Then two regular tables opened up - we asked for one in the corner away from the door (it was cold out). We were told that one was reserved for someone else - people who came in after us. We were seated at the table by the door. Then the waitress came over and took our drinks - I ordered Michter's Bourbon - waitress came back to tell me they were out of Michter's. We placed our orders - waitress came back to tell my daughter they were out of what she ordered (this is 7PM on a Saturday night). She changed her order. We then got the food - either overly spicey (chicken on the chicken and waffles) or bland with no flavor (brisket). Had to ask for BBQ sauce at a BBQ joint, which they brought over - the sauce was flavorless and didn't help the taste of the brisket. They tried to appease us with a last minute kick save on the bill...but there were too many wrong turns here for us to recommend or ever venture back.
Food, service and most especially drinks were fantastic!
The reservation was never transmitted from OpenTable to the restaurant and we were not seated
The food here is the reason for coming! It’s just outstanding. The tight quarters and obnoxiously LOUD crowd makes it a little difficult to savor the wonderful foods served here. Regardless, the food is so good, it overcomes the typical dopey, rude human beings that surround me everyday. Helpful hint to anyone who thinks it’s really cool to splash potruely oil on themselves; it’s actually the opposite: really uncool! Thankfully, The staff is wonderful! And the drinks are awesome too! It would be wise to get here before 6!
Limited menu. Was not impressed with the food or beer selection. It was just OK.
One of the best places to hit in Huntington for a good BBQ fix, with tons of vegan options (check out the Nashville-style vegan chicken, it's amazing!) So happy to finally be able to go to a restaurant with meat-eaters and not have to choose from the one or two veg options!
Food was good, service was good and a bonus they own the ice cream store next door which was DELICIOUS!
They were out of half of the things we tried to order. The vegan fried chic'n was very dry.
Fried Green Tomatoes for great! But the tacos even filled with a lot of ingredients, were sull.
Great friendly staff!
Great food great service
Excellent local BBQ joint. Apps were excellent. Service (Stephanie) was also excellent and attentive. Tacos, although very good, need a little direction. Dry Rub definitely working. My Son and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will be back again.
We’ve been here before and the last time the food was amazing, so we recommended to our friends visiting from out of town. The food was not consistent. We told our friends that the fried chicken here was so delicious but it was just...ehh. The breading of the chicken was like a casing over the breast. It separated it from the chicken breast completely. But not just one of our dishes had that issue. ALL of our dishes has the same problem. The corn bread was also cold and a little hard. There were other little things during our dinner. It was just an unsatisfactory experience.
Great food great everything
I truly enjoyed Radio Radio! I am vegan and traveled from the beginning of Long Island to taste their vegan fried chicken sandwich as well as their 3 vegan tacos. Absolutely delicious, they even had a live music afterward! The ambiance is unique and quite interesting, really lives up to its name. You will thank me later, enjoy.
Great food and great service. Very accommodating every time I’ve been there.
Excellent food, and great atmosphere would recommend any couple for a quick casual date night.
