Arrived from Rome in 2014, the Mancini family decided to change their lives and embark on a new and exciting adventure in Australia. After several experiences as Chefs in Italy and also in Australia, Valentina and Otello decide in 2019 to return on the market with a singular hospitality concept that had already been successful in Rome since 2010 . Radici Pasta House, in Italian language “Radici” means roots indicating the intention to offer a cuisine deeply rooted in Italian food culture with a modern accent and an extreme attention to the overall experience. Head Chef Marco Minore, who also joined Radici Pasta House in 2019, with his menu has contributed to giving life to this project which, in addition to the particular chef table seats around the bar, represents something unique in Gold Coast and beyond.

We ate at Radici a few years ago and we were very impressed. Not the case this time. We were seated, given sparkling water and then left. No offer of a pre-diner drink, no specials suggestion, no menu suggestions. We still don't know if there were specials. The menu had changed very little from memory. About 15 minutes later we were approached and asked if we were ready to order. We asked if he was food and/or drinks. Both he said. We ordered a Negroni at $24 and asked for a Zero beer. Sorry we don't have any Zero beer. Nothing except fruit juice mocktail that you construct. Anyway the food arrived and it was okay, not spectacular. No serviettes until we asked for them. No pepper and salt until we asked for them. My Bug pasta didn't need salt, it had plenty. No offer of desserts and at the payment at the till no question as to whether we had enjoyed our meal - just $164 thank you, for 2 reasonable pastas (the top end of the menu at around $44 each), a really lovely Caprese Salad, an orange juice, Negroni , glass of wine and the sparkling water.

As usual the food was lovely! Service was friendly. Food was a bit expensive for the serving size. Merlot was divine!

Beautiful family run restaurant that makes us feel like we are back in Italy…..we have made the drive from Brisbane plenty of times just to enjoy the atmosphere. The food is always perfect and the friendly staff add to the authentic feel of the restaurant. After many many visits we still can’t wait to go back every time…..ci vediamo presto radici!!l

Best gluten free pasta I've ever had. Lots of flavour, cooked perfectly, portion great.

The food was beautiful however the star rating only refers to the service it was very poor and disappointing this is due to not being trained.

Excellent! Great pasta that was not heavy and the sauces were not too rich, yet full of flavour.
