A fantastic independently owned restaurant with authentic tasty Italian dishes. Great cocktails with real egg whites for whiskey sours! Unique chocolate pastry desert to top off the meal. A wonderful place for special occasions, dates and even just casual eating. Expensive, but then again, all fine dining establishments are expensive these days.

Our 2nd time here and even better than the first. Our server Andrew was attentive, prompt, and helpful. He made excellent suggestions and took very good care of us during our visit. The main courses were delicious (beet salad and the ravioli). Dessert--the Elderberry pie and gelato--was the perfect topper. My favorite fine dining place in the South Bay, by far.

The bartender with a German name which I now forget was excellent as was our server which I now forget also. Bartender recommended some excellent tequila and wine which my girlfriend and I both enjoyed . The lamb shank was outstanding . I have been going to Radici off and on for some years . Kelly who left for the east coast some years ago was another excellent employee . Keep up the good work we will be back again.

The most authentic northern Italian food outside of Italy. Absolutely delicious. We travel to Italy frequently and now we can eat here and feel like we are eating the Italian food we crave.

We always have a wonderful dining experience at Radici. Even though our favorite server is no longer there, the entire staff is warm, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food is always delicious and well prepared. Radici is our go to Italian restaurant!

My all time favorite restaurant. Laura is the owner and she is amazing. It's her Italian Mom in the kitchen that creates all the wonder authentic dishes. I try to go here as much as possible. Sunday night only she makes her famous lasagna. My wife and I just got back from Italy, Radici has better food than Italy !!!

Really excellent restaurant. Friendly engaged service, very helpful with all selections. Food was excellent. We had the specials, including sea bass and linguini with mushrooms. Excellent preparation and sauces. And don’t forget panna cotta and grappa for dessert. All of it delicious. Located near the beach can’t beat the experience.

Best food in Southern California. We just returned from a two week trip in Italy. The food there was absolutely amazing but Radici was still better. By far my favorite restaurant. If you haven't been there you are cheating yourself. We try to go once a week. The gnocchi is by far the best I have ever had. The owners mother makes everything in the back from scratch and using the best local farmers markets. She also makes the best lasagna ever. Its only on Sundays. Make sure you try it, its the best you have ever had.

Just okay, poor service in regards to sparkling wine, my waitress tried to explain to me that my sparkling wine was supposed to be flat by the time she got it to my table....I was not supposed to know the difference.

We had dinner on the outdoor patio for a Fathers Day Prixe Fix menu. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere. The appetizers of seared ahi and bruscheta were superb. All three pastas we sampled were great. The veal and the lemon sauce were perfection. The sauce on the Waygu ribeyes was great but the meat could have been more tender. My only disappointment was the profiteroles. Usually one of my all time favorite desserts. This presentation had a small shell filled with ice cream covered with a milk chocolate/whip cream mix. I really missed the liquid dark chocolate pour over and the usual larger portion.

Buonissimo!!!! The steak was exceptional but we were thrilled by the watermelon, tomato salad with sprinkles of garlic just delicious. Luigi was not bad on the eyes.

This place is simply amazing. The food, drinks, and service are wonderful. I cannot say enough good things. The gnocchi was phenomenal. The bread we had was addictive. Gelato was delightful. Every app / meal / drink / dessert we tried was great. Go here and try everything—it’ll be worth it!!

Food was absolutely great, especially arugula/pear/bleu cheese salad vinaigrette. Amazing combination of flavors and textures. Calamari appetizer was a very modest serving size. Salmon entree was generous in size and the sauce and spinach, perfect. Server, Juliet, was charming and attentive, including an apology and check-in about delay in bringing first courses. I liked the setting, which is in Hermosa but somewhat above the fray, with lovely, open view. Street parking was available, luckily, because the underground parking was impossible to access (wrong code for entry, gates wouldn’t open with the correct code) and backing up the short, sharp, inclined driveway and then across the sidewalk on Fri night was not fun.

Just discovered this gem in Hermosa. A varied menu, including a delightful assortment of drink options, attentive and informed service, all set amongst a sophisticated and elegantly simple room made for a thoroughly enjoyable dinner. I'll definitely be back.

A delightful and delicious place to have an authentic Italian dinner—-and delectable dessert. We are vegetarian, but the chef made us a great penne alla vodka without the bacon. Great service, food, and ambiance.
