Good authentic food in a bright energetic atmosphere. Watch the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge and enjoy the weinersnitzel.
I loved this restaurant but I wouldn't say it was a 5 star experience. The service took a bit long and it was jam packed with people. I liked the menu but I had no idea what I was ordering. I got lucky when I took the waitress's recommendation and got the Wiener Schnitzel entree.
Radhaus' primary allure is its location. It's located in a chic repurposed warehouse; a beautiful space to visit. The food is good, the portions can be small (at least smaller than one might expect of a German restaurant serving sausages, potatoes, and sauerkraut), and the room loud. Price was what one would expect from a waterside restaurant in San Francisco. For ambiance, address and convenience to other Northside attractions I would give Radhaus a conditional recommendation. If you are in the market for hearty German food and beer in a fest hall environment? I might suggest looking elsewhere.
Super fast service with excellent food. Great German beer selection. Wonderful staff. Always happy with my experience here.
Love this place, the food and service is great, but sadly it’s gotten too expensive for a family night out or everyday dining.
I get it, SF is expensive now but $350 for four adults and two kids is pretty steep.
Well made cocktails and veal. Very loud.
Amazing entrees, good atmosphere (slightly challenging to hear but overall worked out)! And great beer
Smoked carrots are unique, and worth the trip alone.
So lovely! The space is very nice and open with great views of the water. The food is awesome, lots of pescatarian options. Loved the fish board, and spaetzle was so good. It’s just very loud and hard to hear each other talk.
Would love to see an expanded menu!
Reunion of old friends. Had a great table. Views of the bridge and headlands make it extra special
Overall great experience. We had some issues with the order, but it did not make a big difference. The staff is nice, food good as always. Beers are nice but not cold enough ( probably you have some space for improvement in that area). Other than that, awesome spot.
Great location, excellent beers and authentic German cuisine. Brilliant for groups.
Great concept, food, and beer. The noise level, however is so intrusive.
Unless restricted by their lease, the owners should invest in some sound deadening material. And I’m not sensitive to loud, but this was off the charts.
Shhh... don't tell anyone about how rad Radhaus is.
Food was fine, service was fine, decor looks great but the hard surfaces make it noisy. Not s problem for me, but it’s good to know.
My 3rd visit. Bavarian DNA, son majored Ger. & Linguistics & travels. College summer in Zurich @ Megros.
Delish, better than past, but no P-Pudding! Bummer, next time. Great location, quiet & Gd for walk. See ya & thx.
Pleasant but much too noisy
Service was poor, server seemed uninterested. Overall lack of disregard for common dinner service. Unimpressed unfortunately
We were missing the rhubarb sauce on our potato pancakes, they also were served cold. On a positive note, the beet cured salmon was fantastic.
My guests did enjoy their split pea stew and the bratwurst, they were very tasty.
Another sour note was that I didn’t receive my cocktail until I had almost finished my meal.
Eggs benedict was nothing special for $25, drinks and ambience, great.
Great for big groups and kids
Wait times were beyond stupid. One entree came with apps and others came 15 min before others
Excellent location on Fort Mason pier with views of a marina and the Golden Gate bridge. Plenty of parking outside, and right on bike/walking path from Marina Green, Crissy Field. Service is very friendly and professional. Decent size menu with tasty snacks, salads and mains. Large beer menu, good cocktails and wines. We enjoyed the cheese spread with pretzel, wiener schnitzel, kasespatzle and chocolate chip cookies.
Great location and view with modern twist on traditional German food. Fun menu very well executed.
Food was very good. We had the bratwurst and fischteller with a couple of beers of course.
We loved it, it would of been nice if they had one more server as it took a few min to find ours when we needed something.
I had a few friends visiting and we all had a great time! They even went back the next day for drinks.
This was our first visit to Radhaus, and we were very pleased. (Two of us lived in Germany for several years, so we can be picky.)
Three of us shared 3 "smaller" dishes, and we were very happy with both quality and quantity.
We did find the space very loud, apparently by design, as there are a lot of hard surfaces along with the high ceiling. The three of us were fine, but I won't come with a party larger than four, because it would be too hard to talk.
Birthday celebration for my friend from Germany, very authentic food and fabulous service !! I’ll definitely go back
The hostess/waitress disappeared after lunch was served. We were having a work lunch so it would have been nice to refill iced tea and get the check. Also, my kielbasa was dry and I would have changed my order, had she checked to see if it was satisfactory. I was excited about the place and would not recommend it.
The Food was great! Sehr lecker! The service most excellent with a special danke to Anne!
The restaurant’s setting is ideal for a relaxed celebration with friends and family. This was our second time there and the food was even better than before. Plus, we do appreciate a chef that takes the time to develop the perfect cookie recipe!
Good food, large portions and reasonable prices. Nice bright atmosphere with bay views.
Best German restaurant in Area. I never have better Europen food in the USA. I'm from Czech Republic so I felt like at home. Thank you!
Great experience! Friendly staff and yummy German food
I made a reservation and we were greeted promptly by our server and were allowed to choose which table. The location is ideal, quick and cheap parking and a beautiful view out the side windows out onto the bay, the docks and the bridge. A waitress came and took our drink order and poof, she was gone for fifteen minutes, the place is open and bright and she was walking around doing, well, seemingly nothing. It was seven o'clock on a Wednesday so it really wasn't busy and she only have a few people seated at her tables and she neglected them as well. The other waitress was busily running about and interacting with her tables but ours was AWOL. When we finally placed our order, it came quickly, but not by our waitress, it was brought by someone from the kitchen and it was delicious. We saw our waitress walking around aimlessly but she never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything, the other waitress, actually brought us water. So, she finally shows up at the table when we have been finished for awhile to bring us our bill. Never asked if we wanted anything else to drink or eat etc. To say she was inattentive to kind. She was VACANT. The thing is, the rest of the staff were so nice and outgoing and her lack of attention or even just simply doing her job left us rather annoyed. The food is great, the drinks are delicious I just suggest that if you have a choice of sitting in the section where the blonde waitress with glasses is working do it, DO not sit in the section with the long haired blonde waitress without glasses roams around aimlessly looking bored beyond belief, it will just make the dining experience unpleasant and this place deserves to be enjoyed.
Incredible view and space. Must be experienced. Food is fabulous so was the service.
While the restaurant itself has a nice ambiance it is super expensive for what it is in terms of its food. Weirdly you can’t really see out the windows because they’re above I level. It feels like an example of many new San Francisco restaurants. Chic but no soul to it’s food or the overall experience.
My husband and I love this place. The food is amazing and the beer is some of the best beer I have ever had outside of Germany/Austria. We come here as often as we can and bring our friends and family.
