Radhaus, a modern Bavarian beer hall and restaurant on the campus of Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, Radhaus will blend the convivial atmosphere of Biergarten and the acclaimed cuisine of Suppenküche with panoramic views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge. Radhaus offers a Californian interpretation of modern Bavarian cuisine. In addition to an accessibly priced full menu, Radhaus features a program of top-tier Bavarian beer. To ensure authenticity, Executive Chef Tim Malloy trained in a 12th century Bavarian castle, operating today as a hotel and restaurant.

The beer was great and our waitress was very attentive. The main issues were: 1) the food portions are incredibly small - especially when compared to similarly priced places like Leopold's and Suppenküche 2) something about the layout of the space amplifies the noise in the room making it impossible to have a conversation with someone sitting more than one seat away from you Overall, it was okay.

Absolutely wonderful service and wonderful food! We were there for our Grandpa’s 93rd Birthday and he is German so we make it a point to try every German restaurant we can when we take him out! It was a bit loud for an elderly person but us young(ish) folks were okay. Totally busy and booming atmosphere, lots of fun was had by all. Price point is a little high, but you get that at any German Restaurant. We will be back!

Fun scene with great water views, food, drinks & dessert! Wasn’t expecting such a diverse drink & food menu. The dessert was outta this world.

The drinks were fantastic! The food came out at different times, even though we asked for the same serving time, so some was cold. The service was really poor. We, essentially, had to ask again and again for our server. Usually we have a much better experience, like for drinks at the bar, but this was discouraging.

Great view of the sunset from the gigantic windows. The inside has all hard surfaces and no noise abatement. Bearable noise level when not busy, but unable to carry on a conversation when busy. Lots of outside seating, great for warmer days. Consistently good schweinshaxe. Cheesy spätzle is to die for.
