Inside of a bookstore, Raconteur serves up tasty American fare in a cozy atmosphere with wood all around. It features additional seating downstairs with a full bar. Raconteur has tasty dishes for dinner, lunch and breakfast. Guests can start their meal with a fresh Caesar salad with crisp romaine lettuce and house made dressing. An entree of bratwurst with sauerkraut or a New York strip steak with savory potatoes will satisfy just about any appetite. Burgers, vegan dishes and desserts also grace the menu.

Raconteur is a good restaurant, with great servers, but the front of house/hosting is terrible! They are completely inept at taking names and seating groups. In particular, they drastically overstated their capacity on Father's Day, so our Open Table review was meaningless.

Raconteur is great for the cafe and for the Third Place Bookstore inside. Not so much for the restaurant. The food did NOT taste good at all. The chicken wings were undercooked, and the seasoning of the chicken strips were not tasty, and they were over cooked. The veggie burger left a very bad aftertaste. The waiter was not attentive, and the price of the meal was high. It was so bad, I not only didn’t want to leave a tip - but I wish my meals could have been refunded. Waste of time and money.

Great neighborhood dining. Good food at a fair price. Especially nice to walk into the Book Store after dining. Excellent selection of books, especially poetry and children’s selections.

Not good for families! We won’t be back. This place sucks. Terrible service. 6/7 food orders were cold and then the food for the baby was so hot that it took 15 min to cool off so he could eat. We waited nearly an hour for our food and there was barely anyone in the restaurant. There must be nowhere else to eat nearby. Not sure how it has such high reviews.
