Raconteur has happy hour throughout the week and offers brunch on Saturday and Sunday. It even showcases an outdoor patio for guests to enjoy the weather and their meal. Take-out services are also provided for individuals wanting to dine at home.
Raconteur is great for the cafe and for the Third Place Bookstore inside. Not so much for the restaurant. The food did NOT taste good at all. The chicken wings were undercooked, and the seasoning of the chicken strips were not tasty, and they were over cooked. The veggie burger left a very bad aftertaste. The waiter was not attentive, and the price of the meal was high. It was so bad, I not only didn’t want to leave a tip - but I wish my meals could have been refunded. Waste of time and money.
The servers were very young and inexperienced; not very attentive and slow.
Perfect spot to visit with my son. Can’t wait for my next trip to Seattle. And love love love the bookstore.
Great brunch and friendly service
Great neighborhood dining.
Good food at a fair price.
Especially nice to walk into the Book Store after dining. Excellent selection of books, especially poetry and children’s selections.
Not good for families! We won’t be back. This place sucks. Terrible service. 6/7 food orders were cold and then the food for the baby was so hot that it took 15 min to cool off so he could eat. We waited nearly an hour for our food and there was barely anyone in the restaurant. There must be nowhere else to eat nearby. Not sure how it has such high reviews.
Great spot attached to a great bookstore! Brunch all day and a great selection of lunch items as well.
