   Very nice staff, helpful and considerate. Only problem was the stag do that we were seated next to. Asked to be moved to a quieter area and the staff were very quick to do that. Thank you for a lovely meal, great food!

   We had a lovely family meal here. Three of us had the Sunday roasts which were delicious and the other two chose different options. We were all really pleased with our choices and liked the ambience.

   We went for the 'penny pizza' promotion, which is quite a good deal. But, one pizza arrived about 15/20 mins after everyone elses, we were charged for an extra pizza on the bill and finally didn't feel that the pizzas were as good as expected (dry, overly sweet toppings, crust lacked chewiness). I've been for drinks before and it's a nice place to sit outside but I wouldn't eat there again.

   Lively, youthful bar (we aren't very lively or youthful!) but we enjoyed it anyway!

   Had roast on Sunday (14/05/17), never seen a Yorkshire that big. Roasties were really good, came with carrots, green beans, red cabbage & broccoli. Can recommend the chicken & beef. Had also e-mailed to ask for them to show the F1, was all ready to watch when we sat down. Really enjoyed our visit 😀

   I booked Racks as it came with good reviews for Sunday Roast which my husband very much enjoyed. Being my first time there I hadn't realised they had big TV screens showing sport but they kindly moved us to the restaurant area. The downside is that my chicken burger was over-cooked which they happily replaced however this took some time by which time my husband had finished eating. Though this wasn't a great experience they remedied the situation as much as they could by not charging for the meal, providing my burger in a take-away box and giving a 10% discount on the drinks.

   Service was excellent. The food was delicious but be careful when ordering. Some dishes say fries, risotto but there was no carbs with the pheasant so some fries were ordered when we saw our dinner arrive , they arrived quickly after. Great offers each day noted on menu. We had a glass of prosecco which was reasonably priced at £2.50, good choice of beers with little tastes offered before choosing. I would return.

   It was a nice place to eat and meet a friend for lunch. Comfortable and easy to talk. Good steak. Not a lot ,or maybe it was none , salad options. Didn't appreciated 10% being added to the bill routinely.

   The table was booked for 7.30pm. When we arrived a party had just started and the noise from this was horrific. We were not warned about the party before booking. I ordered the roast beef which came out cold. I had to send it back. A new roast was sent out warmed but clearly it was not fresh but had been kept warm from the afternoon. The waitresses were clearly busy and we had to get up and pay at the bar.

    What a disappointment. Everything I ordered they'd run out of, and also some that my friends did too, even including the drink!! No pre-empt to this before choosing either so even more annoying to waste time . Main meal luke warm, veg undercooked. Service polite but incredibly slow, had to remind them we were there twice even though place was nearly empty. Took 3 hours to have a 2 course meal. Worst experience in a long time which is a shame as had read good things. Wasnt even offered a reduction or goodwill even though the waitress repeatedly acknowledged we had a bad lot! Very poor so can't recommend.
