About RackHouse Tavern
Our Menu: Rack House has taken our timeless American cuisine to the next level offering a menu comprised of all of our favorites done in house with a rustic smokehouse flair.
The rackhouse (or rickhouse) is where bourbon barrels are stored and aged. With this, Whiskey and Bourbon play a major role in many of the dishes and house made sauces. We also take pride in our exploration of local craft beers and regional Whiskey and Bourbons to enhance not only our techniques but your taste buds too.

RackHouse Tavern Ratings and Reviews
The menu on the website differs from the actual we saw in the restaurant. Website shows chicken, yet when we asked we were told NO CHICKEN anymore. Waitress was slow and unattentive.....couldn't help notice hostess changed where she was going to seat us when I said we had a reservation on Open Table.
My wife and I invited two out-of-town guests to join us for dinner at Rack House. We had been there several times prior, and knew we were in for a good time and excellent food. We, and our guests, were not disappointed! One guest is a BBQ fan, and he loved the pulled pork / beef brisket combo. I had the new fried shrimp basket, which was recently added to the menu. Really tasty! We love the cheese curds starter. The other guest made a dinner out of the savage fries, and loved all the flavors stacked on top of the fries. Top notch beer list. Our server was friendly and fun. All in all, an outstanding evening!
My food was absolutely delicious. Did a BYO burger with pulled pork. Chopped salad was also good. One not so good choice was the kids Chicken Tenders. It had very dark rub on it which didn't seem kid oriented. My daughter ended up sticking with the fries... Overall though, for adults, I'd say it's definitely a great place for bbq type cuisine. Service was very good as well.
We sat on the outdoor patio, which was very pleasant. Our server was friendly and fun. We love the food; great appetizers to share, and terrific mains. Love the mini-donuts for dessert, also easy to share after a big meal! Finished it off with peach moonshine. Great evening!
Looking for a fun place to dine for Father's Day and found this place. Really enjoyed their BBQ menu. One plate of three choices was enough for the both of us. A little disappointed their ribs were sold out by the time we placed our order.
They have an interesting drink menu including moonshine. Didn't have a chance to try it but will come back for another visit.
We went for Mothers Day buffet. Food was very good. The buffet was wedged into the bar area so there was only one line but the wait wasn't that bad. Very unhappy that there was a mandatory 20% tip on there. Sorry, that is way too much for a buffet (especially with the high price of the meal to start, plus drinks were not included) & it wasn't mentioned in the ad we saw. There were only 3 of us. Other places we were considering had it listed so it was dishonest at least.
Based of this, doubtful will return.
The Mother's Day brunch was a success! We were happy with the quality of the food, particularly the hot dishes like blintzes and griddle cakes, and there were lots of choices for everyone at the table. The price was definitely fair for what we got. We will be returning next year.
Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive and even her trainee was doing a great job! Most of us took our server's recommendation on the lunch specials and we were all in agreement that it was delicious. The portions are a decent size and we all took some food home for another meal. Loud and lively - the BBQ as soon as you walk in is amazing!
It was too chilly for us, but they also have a large patio area for when the weather is nice.
Easter brunch, was my first time at the establishment. We chose to sit in the outdoor area, the weather was nice enough. Smoked meat and sausage was a feature of the buffet, the highlight. Other highlight was the cheesecake dessert bites. Otherwise an average buffet, not huge, decadent selection that I've seen elsewhere. Smoked salmon, shrimp, egg station. Overall, well enough done.
We had the Easter Brunch Buffet. The food was pretty good. I had one cup of coffee that was not hot and told our waitress that it was lukewarm. She brought me another cup and it was also lukewarm. She never bothered to ask if it was OK and never filled my coffee again. One thing I found very odd was that they added an automatic 20% gratuity for two people. I could understand that it was a holiday but I think they should have told us this ahead of time, it was not listed on the website or flier or actually mention it when you brought the check. Too bad since we always tip above 20% even for the mediocre service and cold coffee.
