First opened to the public in 1984 as the Raceview Tavern, The Raceview Hotel has been a favourite in town ever since. We offer an extensive dining and bar experience, choose from our 220 seat buffet, Bullock & Plough Bar or our Lounge & Cascades Alfresco. It was good but where is the mousse and why was the whipped cream yellow and don't like how we only have an hour we can't sit and relax. Great service

We book for 35 and only got 29 seats they seemed understaffed it was hard to find someone to get any help from and when we did we were told to utilise other tables that were no where near our table. Overall experience was not a good one food was not hot, there wasn’t many options for a buffet meal no help from staff also a staff member cleared cups from the table when we weren’t finished and there were kids there who were still trying to eat there dinner we all paid to have the drinks on top of our meals not a good experience

Overall experience was great, but the food was sub par standard not very enjoyable and for the money we paid very deterring for returning.

The actual food was quite delicious but as a family with children , we were disappointed to find no icecream. Us along with others had upset children that couldn't get their usual dessert. If we had of been told on booking or when we arrived we would of gone elsewhere.

Food was mediocre at best and at times bland and severely overpriced if ordering from the menu. Buffet is as expect basic foods to cater to everyone’s taste so somewhat enjoyable. Cocktails were slightly overpriced and underwhelming in taste and presentation as well.
