Delicious crab salad and rotini with guanciale were both outstanding!
I really enjoy this restaurant...second visit and it did not disappoint...We'll be back.
Always a great go-to place for a delicious meal with great service! Tried new menu item, bucatini with nettles pesto which was delicious and the old standby, bolognese which never disappoints.
The food was very good. Appetizers, Crab salad, Dates, Crudo were superb. Main dish Tagliatelle pasta was good, but too sweet and little too el dente. Service was fantastic. A little bit noisy with the shape of the space.
I'd still recommend it to a friend, but we found most of our meals to be kind of mediocre. Not bad, just not anything special. The interior is great and service was fine. We thought just 3 scallops was a bit light for an entree.
Have been a frequent visitor to Brian Clevenger's Vendemmia since it first opened. Now aiming to visit his other restaurants. This is was the first on the list. Loved it, will be back.
Let’s be clear... all you need to know is: WOW!
We had our first dinner at Raccolto. Honestly, the experience was 5-stars from end-to-end. It’s been a while since I’ve been THIS level of blown away by everything in a meal. Service was very friendly, helpful, and thorough. Raccolto is officially my new favorite.
Thumbelina Carrots (incredible!)
Tonnarelli with the extra poached egg (incredible!)
And the gelato for desert... (incredible.)
It’s a lovely neighborhood restaurant one of the best in West Seattle . Usually consistently good food with rare changes in menu options. I’ve been there about a dozen times. Some dishes shine ( halibut when in season). And some like one pasta dish ordered was uninspired and leftovers when into the garbage instead of eTen for breakfast. Dessert menu needs a big re-do.
Great meal and perfect setting
Food, Service, were Great. Need a vestibule to isolate the tables nearest the door from ‘entry / checkin traffic’ and cold air. We asked and got seated upstairs- that solved the issue. Food, wine and small plates format were exceptional. Ashleigh, our server, was outstanding - thanks for putting up with one of my party who was less courteous! We will definitely come again
Best Cacio e pepe around! Plus, the mocktails are great!
We enjoyed our experience very much. The food amazing. Our only downside was that both my wife and I got sick later in the evening due to what seemed like food... We will be careful of the raw food orders next time, but, will be back especially for the pasta and the amazing ribeye
Food delicious but sadly quite a bit too salty. Would also appreciate having sides available (veggies or potatoes)
I would totally return and just mention it to the waiter before placing order. Really loved their attention to detail otherwise.
The food is amazing! The half chicken is one of the best chicken preparations I have had. The place is a bit spendy but worth it.
The steak Tartare is what brings us back again and again.
Excellent and interesting food tastes, textures, and combinations. Very small servings, poor presentation (everything comes in a cereal bowl - what's up with that?). Nice ambiance. Decent service. Expensive.
It was great
Great food and great service = great time!
We save times at Raccolto for special occasions. This time it was an early New Year's Eve seating and also our wedding anniversary. The special New Year menu was outstanding except for one glitch with a chosen dessert that was on a hard cookie; evidently it hadn't been thought through on how it would be eaten.
All in all, we loved it, we would return again, and we particularly loved the music and the attention of Grace, our server. It was a splendid evening.
Food, as usual, was excellent. But our server was distracted and forgot things or brought the wrong food. The noise level was ridiculous. My ears were buzzing by the time we left. It will be a while before we go back.
Our request for an alternate table was ignored. Our server never smiled and took no time at our table—her service was totally perfunctory. The food was basically much too salty (and I like salty food) and the menu was uninteresting. I was disappointed here once before. I will not be back.
Food serves too slowly
Amazing, as always. Excellent service and very good food. So lucky to have this spot in my hood.
Loved this place, I want to eat their pasta and chocolate cake every day. We had oysters, scallops, crab salad, etc. it was awesome and so lovely!
We've now been there twice, absolutely delightful both times!
My parents were visiting for the weekend and I’d been recommended this place by a friend. At first I was a little skeptical because it was tapas style, but the portions were perfect! And all the food was amazingly delicious. Simple dishes were made to be booming with all the flavor! I also had a delicious cocktail. I would highly recommend.
The food was absolutely delicious! We shared many small plates. The service was great except the server forgot to bring our last dish which was ok except the server tried to play it off like they didn’t. But whatever I’d still go back.
I just absolutely love this restaurant.
There's nothing to fault with Raccolto's food and service. Both are tremendous and the basis for a 5-star rating and a return visit. The intimate dining room is very nice, but would be nicer if there was a little more space between tables or at least arranged to avoid rear-ends in your face.
Such great service! They are attentive without being intrusive. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with Raccolto and it was delightful. The bubbles were a wonderful treat.
The food is delicious! I always like to come early with only one or two others because this restaurant can get noisy as it gets later and more people are dining.
We came for a fundraiser while in town. Excellent meal with attentive wait staff. Restaurant was located in a residential area. The lighting made reading menu a bit tough for my mother. Seating was slightly uncomfortable. Everything was fresh and we particularly enjoyed the crab salad which was outstanding.
This was our second visit to Raccolto and both visits were excellent! Our group of 4 shared 3 sides, 3 pastas and one dessert and we licked every plate clean. Service is friendly and helpful in determining portions, nice selection of plates and everything is delicious.
Food as good as ever, but extrememly slow service from start to finish. Even with a 6:00 Saturday night reservation, we were made to wait in the standing room only entrance for a good 15-20 minutes. Not sure if they were short-handed, but the hostess seemed to have zero sense of urgency or ability to juggle more than one task at a time. Then once seated, our server was quite slow to come over for even a drink order. Again, perhaps the restaurant was short handed or under staffed? Pleasant server, Sean (?) and delicious dishes from Fois Gras, to beet salad, to 2 pasta dishes...Skip the oysters. We will be back, but will maybe have our pre-dinner cocktail at home in anticipation of another few times we need to "wait to be served...and served."
Excellent restaurant, food and service is on point. My only feedback is that the experience here is not to be rushed. It can take a good amount of time to go through Dinner here which is my favorite! But if you are in a hurry, maybe look elsewhere.
Learn sign language! The noise level was off the charts. We noticed padding had been added on the upper walls, but not much help. We arrived at 5:05, for Restaurant Week. Had been to sister restaurant Hay Market 2 days earlier and loved it. We ordered their recommended 3 glasses of wine pairing at Raccolto. Small servings-3-4 Oz? wine was poured before appetizers. Tiny(one inch square tuna with citrus) and speck or prosciutto toast delicious. Pink peppercorn salad-lettuce was very nice but dressing felt gritty-maybe a finer peppermill grind better. Had those appetizers and were waiting for entree when waiter came over and said “Oh you’re drinking your wine too fast. Would you like your entree wine now or with your entree?” Have never been asked that by a waiter. We said water was fine until entree served. Service was increasingly slow.
Halibut and greens were very good but salty. chocolate cake(Decadence?) and sorbet very good.
Will not be returning.
Really fun place to test drive during Restaurant Week! We enjoyed a delicious dinner and loved the ambiance. Great addition to West Seattle!
went for restaurant week, had only been once before and had amazing pasta. was kind of disappointed restaurant week didn't have more pasta options. shouldn't have been. had short ribs....amazing. everything was great, and they accommodated a last minute reservation change during a super busy night. will be back and will recommend!!
Fab food, like dining in Europe.
