We love everything about Raccolto except maybe the noise level. Our waiter was great (and he always is) and the food hit the mark.
10th time to Racollto and we haven't had a bad experience yet. Service is friendly, informed and casual.
Wine selections have been very good and there has been patience with sampling before a choice is made. Quality of ingredients, preparation, presentation and service have been uniformly top notch, which is rare.
Recommend reservations, ask for upstairs in the winter and weekends and downstairs in the summer.
Always amazing. I was a chef for the last 10 years, and I think Raccolto has the best food in West Seattle. Make sure to get reservations first.
Not self-described as a tapas restaurant, but the oppetizers are generous sized and 3-4 would make a hearty, complete meal.
The food was unique and very flavorful. Had a four course valentine dinner that was better than we expected.
We had the set menu for Valentine's day. Overall the food was delicious. The service was very attentive but the meal felt rushed by the quick movement between courses. The desert was not nearly as good as the food and we were surprised not to be offered a drink to go with dessert. The price felt a little steep and we would have enjoyed a wine pairing. But we will be back as the pasta and squid ink risotto were truly delicious.
Our server Cameron made this special night for us EXCEPTIONALLY special- not only inviting a bit of playfulness and fun to the table, but also being stellar with recommendations. The food was out of this world... though that was no surprise to us! This is one of our favorite spots in the junction (kinda went there 3 times during my bday week). But the amount of effort they put in to make our anniversary special was truly sweet. I would recommend this place a million times over... AND if you get into Cameron's section, you are in for a treat! (My ambience score is only because it was pretty damn cold by the door. Didn't want to be a jerk and ask to move, as it was a full restaurant and SOMEONE would end up needing to sit by the door.) LOVE LOVE LOVE raccolto. So grateful it's in our hood.
Fabulous meal and the service was impeccable.
Amazing service, food and wine. Excellent as always.
Great addition to West Seattle. Food was outstanding and service was attentive.
My Mom’s 65th Birthday!
Great food and service. We look forward to dining there again.
Beautiful pasta, prepared with care. Reasonable price for a fun night out!
Amazing as always! Great service, all of the dishes are perfectly timed which gives you time to really enjoy your meal. The rigatoni with roasted pork was to die for
Great apps as always, although I go for the pastas. Always fresh, always done perfectly! Corkage is a bit much @ $25. Very noisy.
Excellent food and attentive wait staff. Would definitely go back!
One of our go to places. Excellent food, pleasant attentive staff, tasty drinks. It is a bit loud when full.
Sat upstairs. It was stuffy and the smell from the kitchen permeates the entire area. Our clothes still smell from the kitchen. The restaurant - at least where we were sitting - was very loud. There were only 4 of us but you had to raise your voice to have a conversation.
Great experience! Cameron was one of the best waiters I've had in awhile:) Great food! We loved our experience all the way through
Our waiter Cameron was so helpful with ordering and very welcoming. He was particularly great with my son’s service dog. The experience was outstanding.
I just love this place. Service is always fantastic, the steak tartare is to die for, and the pasta is amazing. Went last week and going again this week because I just can’t get enough. Also, they graciously worked around some dietary restrictions that my date had, and they nailed it.
From the minute we walked into the door, it was wonderful!! Friendly host, excellent server, spectacular food, great deal! Thank you for such a wonderful evening!
Great service & food always great
I came here with my boyfriend at 9pm on a Friday night for a quick bite to eat. The service was friendly enough, but our waiter was obviously trying to upsell us on the menu even though we didn’t come to spend a fortune. We’re not cheap people, but he recommended the two of us share multiple appetizers and entrees, including the most expensive item on the menu, the $39 steak. He seemed almost disappointed when we only ordered some olives and two $15 pastas. We were also offered bread, which we assumed was complimentary, but ended up being $4 on our bill. They also charge you $3 for every Coke refill. The pastas were overly salty and lacked flavor. I don’t know that I would come back.
Cameron went out of his way to make our experience with my 88 and 85 year old parents very special. He goes above the call of a server. He found the correct white wine for my parents. He fixed my tart drink. Don’t miss the Crab Salad or Rigatoni. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The pasta is fresh. Dad didn’t want to try the Bread Pudding because of poor experiences as a child. The shared plate stopped in front of him and we lost our turns. They said the coffee was one of the best they had, and she is 100% Italian. It was spendy but so well worth it.
Absolutely fantastic dining experience. From the moment you walk in the door they make you feel welcome. The hostess, Cameron, does an excellent job of making sure you have a great experience. Explains the dishes and drinks superbly, and carries on a great conversation with you as you dine, making it very enjoyable. I’ll definitely be going back to try the rest of the dishes. Large menu, and decently large portions! 3-4 dishes for a couple is plenty! Recommend the kale salad, smoked fish, and the pesto/hazelnut pasta.
A great neighborhood restaurant with good food and a very nice and competent wait staff.
I’ve never had a bad experience at Raccolto. It can be a bit spendy (depending on what you get) so I really only go when I want to impress friends from out of town or have a special occasion. The smoked fish appetizer is my go-to, and then I always try a new pasta as they are all delish. My son is a celiac pescatarian, so he always enjoys their fish dish and I get a bite. Great restaurant!
Great restaurant! Always delicious pasta selections and friendly service.
Excellent, focused and shareable menu. We loved our meal from start to finish. Great, attentive service too.
Great staff... wish I could remember our server’s name... all the food was delicious!!!!
Excellent service from the moment we walked in until we left. We were here for a double date night. It was our second time (my personal third) at Raccolto and everything was great.
Everything was outstanding.
Every dish was phenomenal. From the Brussel Sprouts (not usually my favorite thing to eat), to the foie gras, to the pasta (I had clam linguini, my husband had the cannelloni), and oh, not to forget the briny oysters, everything was prepared to perfection. This was our 9th or 10th time visiting this restaurant and they just seem to get better each time. Grazie!
Continues to be one of our favorite dining experiences!
Cameron was our server for the second time. This time for my dads birthday. He is an outstanding server and knows his stuff! We all had a lovely time. Nothing on the menu is bad. We will be regulars here.
Raccolto has become one of my favorite restaurants in West Seattle. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is impeccable. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a date night or simply a night out with friends.
Great service (well paced, attentive...a rarity in Seattle!) and great food.
One of the best going out to meals my friends and I have had in a long time. A delightful surprise in my own neighborhood that I've been meaning to go to for a while. Not disappointed. Can't wait for the next time I go.
Raccolto is the best meal we have had in a long time. I didn’t catch our servers name but he was tall with greyish hair and glasses. He’s was phoenominal. We’ve already told all of our friends to eat here. ❤️
