Can’t wait to go back. Need to try the whole menu. Delicious ‼️
Amazing food and Tom was a fantastic server who knows his wines.
While the wait staff was attentive, the menu seemed a bit limited for an Italian restaurant—especially the desserts. The food was good but not outstanding. It had been recommended by a W Seattle resident....
We thought the food was amazing. The fresh fish on the menu was halibut, it was very good. The service didn't start off very well. We were seated and our waiter came back for the drink order, then we didn't see him again. We waited too long before our food order was placed. I was able to get the attention of another server and she took our order. I also thought it was odd that when I asked about the fish special he didn't recommend it. I am glad we ordered it anyway.
Finally a really good Italian restaurant in the junction that doesn't specialize in pizza.
The pasta was good but the appetizers were amazing!
Unbelievably delicious food and wonderful service! This place is among my favorite restaurants of all time. They have earned my money any day of the week. I will be becoming a regular here. Thank you to all the staff. This is an amazing place to have dinner.
Best Italian restaurant in the West Seattle (and maybe all of Seattle). We just returned from a few months and Italy and the food at Raccolto is like being back there. Highly recommend!
Foodis always fantastic, service always impeccable! So happy to have this place in our neighborhood!
Excellent food. We had the crab slaw and little gem salads. Both were delicious. We had pasta for the main - both were amazing. House made pasta with creative and mouth watering sauces.
Outstanding food in a great setting. The freshly made pasta was delicious. We had the ahi appetizer with watermelon- so tasty.
Overall, a solidly good neighborhood restaurant. If you go expecting "special occasion" quality/experience, but if you go expecting a sleek neighborhood restaurant you will be pleasantly surprised and find it quite good for that level of a meal. Definitely one of the best restaurants in West Seattle. Not necessarily better than others downtown, but well worth a visit.
DETAILS: Seated promptly and they were good about acknowledging notes made in the reservation. It was our anniversary so we requested a seat in a less trafficked area and they were generous and gave us a table for four by the window. We weren't expecting anything but since I know others may look for it, just know they don't do any special anniversary / birthday plate/candle things here. It doesn't affect my review but want to mention that in case others expect it.
The food was good to very good. We had the buratta, bucatini red sauce/sausage dish, butter/pepper pasta dish with egg on top, the "affogato" and their special gelato. The butter pasta was good, like a meatless carbonara, but definitely needed salt (which is funny since others say the food here is salty). The bucatini was excellent; perfectly cooked and the sauce had just enough meat/cream/salt to be savory. The pasta in both dishes was indeed fresh and very high quality. Burrata was creamy and the salami/peach topping was a very good twist on this staple. The gelato was outstanding - the cherry had intense cherry flavor and my husband very much enjoyed the reverse affogato (espesso gelato with creme anglaise). Overall, worth a visit and though it looks like it is a special occasion place, I'd put it in more the "solidly good, neighborhood staple" category. Good food but not outstanding or special occasion worthy, though we will definitely be back.
Service was spotty. The host and waitstaff were very good but the table clearers/support staff are a bit brusk and didn't feel consistent with the rest of the experience.
This is the best of the three from this group. The pasta is the best in the city. The flavors are amazing, and the quality is consistent across the last two years of visits.
The surprise of the night was the roasted chicken and the de Medici cocktail.
Love going to Raccolto. Food is good, indoor/outdoor nice. Service always a bit slow (and this from someone who doesn’t like to hurry through a meal) and the food is a bit over salted. But I do enjoy going back.
First mistake was in not checking the menu, that’s on me. Arrived and mentioned that it was my wife’s birthday assuming that every restaurant does something to make their customers happy. Wrong! I don’t eat meat and asked the server about the crab salad. I got the impression it was a salad with crab meat. Wrong again as the fennel was shredded along with the other ingredients and filled with some type of creamy dressing. I can’t even remember what other appetizer I had but it also was drizzled with a dairy sauce. That’s on me, not them. What surprised me was being charged $4 for bread, no acknowledgement of my wife’s birthday and the feeling that intuitively I should have known both my dishes were heavy on dairy. To top it off, I had to ask them to take off the salad from the bill. The food appeared to be very good, the noise level is very loud but the service wasn’t even close to what I expected from such a highly rated restaurant. Extremely disappointed.
Great service and food. However, the noise level is unbearable. Had trouble hearing the waitperson or my dinner companion. No noise absorbing material anywhere.
The food was, as always amazing. The wait staff were great. The kitchen was in the weeds but they still turned out a great meal.
I am basing my review on the fact that many have said they really like this place so my expectations may have been a bit high. Service was good but the food was not exceptional. It was good, but not amazing. Servings are not very large but enough. had we taken the servers recommendation of how much to order and eat family style among the two of us we would have been over eating or taking a lot home for left overs. I was disappointed there was not tiramisu on the dessert menu. I think there was an overuse of mint in the dishes I ordered as well. I probably won’t go back and will be on the hunt for a really good Italian restaurant still. This is what I might call a “foodie” restaurant but I didn’t have anything that was worth having again or see anything on the menu that would make me want to go back to try it.
I wanted to like Racolto but food was slow to come out. Not a well paced meal. Also they ran out of two items we ordered. Burratta without burrata.
Georgia was our server and she was awesome. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious and well plated. The bucatini and blueberry sorbet...divine! Come visit them!
Evening w my Sister.
Her first time. Loved almost every dish...
I’ve returned now 4xs... one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle.
Always good times at Raccolto...great staff and great food, highly recommend!
Great Service and the chicken dish was amazing! Always great drinks!
Disappointed with the crab salad, the was literally two small piece of crab. The "pesto" salad was salty. Burrata good, other pasta we got in white sauce was great.
We’ve been here a few times and come back for the food and atmosphere for great date nights.
Tonight was the first time we’ve walked away disappointed, severely so. Starting off, we waited about 15 minutes past our reservation time for a table. It seemed like there were multiple other groups also with reservations waiting for their tables. A basic acknowledgement of the situation was addressed by a host, but no concession offered for the inconvenience.
We got to our table after waiting and had enough time to decide on our entire order before being attended to. We placed an order for drinks, appetizers, and entrees which is when we were told they were out of some menu items. Had to change on the spot, but fine. The drinks, then, didn’t arrive for 20 minutes. When they arrived, one of them was wrong.
We’re informed a few minutes after getting drinks sorted out that the menu items we changed to had also run out. So this popular restaurant, open for a couple years now can’t figure out how to stock their kitchen for Saturday evening?? This is unacceptable for a place that charges $20+ for most entrees!
We get our meal and enjoy them despite the multiple changes. Their pasta is good. Really damn good and it’s not even up for debate.
But not on one occasion, did our server address the clear flaws in our experience tonight. Didn’t ask how the meal was, didn’t ask if there was anything they could do to fix it, etc. As customer, not one ever looking to impose or be righteous in a slighted situation, waited for the restaurant to make amends for the mixups. Perhaps it’d be quietly reflected on the bill?
Full charge for everything. I gave my card and they ran it.
Once this entire evening was compete, our server finally chose to ask us how the meal was. This felt like a slap in the face. We’ve already paid; the appropriate time for them to address things was much, much earlier. I was genuinely offended by this. They “fixed” it with 30% off. Might not come back ever... 😐☹️
Only thing I would request is less salt which overwhelmed the incredible flavors. Everything was too salty. Let your guests salt their own food - less salt would make everything perfect!
I come here almost every month. I love the food. The service has generally been excellent. My favorite west seattle place.
The service Saturday was appalling. Missed items, wrong items, long delays, two courses coming at once. Worst service ever.
Still I love the food. Go.
Food is delicious but extremely salty
One of my favorite spots in West Seattle! Great for a date or just to treat yourself.
This is a special spot for my wife & I for dinner. We have never had anything short of a perfect night there. This one, her birthday dinner, was no exception. We received the excellent service and delicious food & drinks we have become accustomed to there. And, they made my wife feel special for her birthday without embarrassing her about it. The only complaint we ever have is leaving too full because we can’t stop ourselves from eating all the wonderful food.
Finally made it here after years of driving by and can’t believe it took so long! We sat at the bar and enjoyed some lovely cocktails and a glass of wine. Our bartender was attentive and friendly and let us to some great choices: warm corn salad (favorite item!), smoked fish, Dungeness salad and bucatini. Generous portions and good value. Looking forward to their new spot opening at the junction!
Great food, fantastic service. Perfect evening.
Georgia was our server and was an absolute Pro. Went big for this meal to celebrate a birthday, but you could get away with something much more less expensive. The pasta goes a long way so you don't need to over order. Felt portion sizes were what they should be and the food was amazing. Check it out if you have not been!
Wonderful experience all around. The wine we chose was fantastic, appetizers were full of flavor and the perfect size to share with the table and the pasta was the best we’ve had in quite some time.
Amazing as always! Raccolto has become our go-to place in West Seattle. Thank you to all the staff for keeping such good food coming, even if the cavatelli is now gemelli... it is still as delicious as before
Excellent as always (quieter would be nice).
I am a regular customer and the last few times I have been, there has been sub-par service, mostly due to arrogance and a bit of a snotty attitude. Please hire some friendlier people that provide better service. Your food is amazing and you are a neighborhood gem.
Wonderful! Consistently excellent. A favorite for just the two of us or special guests. We’ll be back!
Food was excellent. Service was a little slow. Took 10 minutes for anyone to greet us at our table. Once they did show, service was good.
