Went for brunch on Saturday, not sure what was going on but they had a DJ and lots of loud music. But had a good time and enjoyed the food.
Sicilian shells are awesome.
The pizza was delicious!! Thank y'all for the wonderful hospitality and food!
We sat in the quiet area downstairs (how awesome to have a noise level option!) and were one of just a few other tables down there. Our server McKenzie was awesome! We had the lemoncello wings, a salad, and the pistachio pizza— it was delicious and the neighborhood was perfect for an after dinner stroll. I’d totally go back to Marco’s!
Best Pizza in Denver, period. I've been going to Marco's since it opened, years ago and they've held up their quality over the years. There is simply no better pizza crust in Denver, and the toppings of the set pies are wonderful, fresh and full of flavor. The price is OK, as is the service.
The food was amazing, great crust with a hint of sweetness, no grease and lots of great topping choices. The pear salad on special was delicious, the tiramisu was a bit mushy but still tasty. All around delicious.
Best gluten free pizza I have ever had
The food and service was good......served with a smile. I was a little disappointed when I made the reservation, I put it was a special occasion and the reason why which was important. They failed to acknowledge it. That was very disappointing.
Nice place, pizza is pretty good. The ovens make a crispy crust.
Came in to celebrate my birthday with friends for lunch. We had the wings as an appetizer and they were amazingly delicious and then the main course was great. We shared the Trio for desert, and wow, the deserts were amazing! However, the server was not very great. He was not very friendly, and hinting annoyance with us. We were the youngest people there. The atmosphere is great, and fabulous for a get together and even a date.
Loved it and loved meeting Marco. Best pizza in Denver.
Great. As usual.
Pizza was on point. Best wood-fired pizza we’ve had in Denver. Make sure to get one with the house sliced prosciutto. Highly recommend this place!
We ordered 4 different pizzas and all were fantastic
We made reservations for New Year’s Eve and upon our arrival, we were excited about the energy of the restaurant. Our excitement quickly dwindled when the hostess took us into the basement where it was cold, empty, and zero energy. In this basement, is the dry storage area in which the servers kept coming and going. Our server was not accommodating and when we asked for some “mocktails” for our young adult children, we were told that he didn’t understand and proceeded to bring them a Shirley Temple, which in theory is a mocktail, But not what we were looking for. The pizza was mediocre, the atmosphere downstairs was depressing, the service was horrible, and the temperature cold. If you decide to dine here, demand that you not be seated in the basement!!!
A whole lot of hype for a very average restaurant. Tripadvisor had great reviews. I had high hopes. Service was poor. Took 15 minutes just to get menus. I felt like i inconvenienced the server by just being there. He refilled my water for the first time after he brought my check. Food was average but expensive for a pie restaurant. ( $19 for a 12 inch thin crust pie). It was my first and last experience here.
Good overall! I would go back again. The area of town is a little on the seedy side.
We used to come here all the time, but hadn't been in a while as we were frequenting other restaurants. When we ate here this past week, we were disappointed that the food wasn't nearly as good as it used to be. The salads were small and didn't have nearly as many ingredients. Same goes for the pizza. With so many great pizza places in Denver, we most likely won't be back.
Love this place, as always! The regular pizza is amazing, but they also have the absolute best gluten-free pizza we've ever had, as my child has celiac. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.
We had a party of 10 and sat downstairs. It was fabulous. The pizza is so good and we shared salads for the table. Service was really good. We'll be back for sure!
always great
We have been to Marcos many times and each visit is better than the last. We have celebrated birthdays, eaten before shows and after shows. Marcos never disappoints. The pizza is amazing, wait staff fun and attentive and the atmosphere is always vibrant and comfy!! I would highly recommend Marcos to any and all lovers of great Italian pizza!
Our pizza was cold and my mother and I were both sick afterwards. Service was fine, but they were getting the pizzas out too quickly.
Good food as always. The noise level (music inside the restaurant) was VERY loud on our last visit.
Came here for a large birthday party, we sat downstairs which was a nice experience because it was more quiet jan the upstairs seating. The service was very fast, and the pizza was amazing. We will definitely be coming back.
We went as a family prior to a play downtown Denver. Exceptionally fast service. Gluten free options. Everyone from our waiter to the GM was interested in providing quality service. Will definitely visit again!
Birthday treat. Phenomenal as usual.
My coworker and I went there last night cute cute place. Relaxed atmosphere great service. Nice place to relax after work or on the weekend. The food was great ordered margarita pizza and wings everything was awesome.
Yum yum and yum. Great pizza but start with the roasted veggie salad, called Arrosta, best salad in town.
Great Pizza! We’ll come again!
This was just an amazing experience. From the service to the atmosphere, and most importantly the food, Marco's is second to none. I can't wait to come back again!
Our waitress was attentive and the service was great. Our food was also very good. The only thing I didn't car for was our table was next to a table on a slightly higher level, where a couple's back was to us - it felt a little weird to me, but otherwise we had a great dinner.
Excellent service and delicious gluten free crust!
Absolutely incredible pizza in a very cool, laid back environment. Pizza was done to perfection in less than 2 minutes and was one of the dining highlights of our trip to Colorado!! Will definitely return. Absolutely AWESOME!!!!
Always good food and great service. This place is so family friendly and a nice treat for us.
Been coming here since it was originally Marco's, then under the name Racca's and now back to Marco's. The two consistent things are: 1) simply the best pizza in Denver (Beau Jo's is in a league by themselves, very different) and 2) this location is always loud. The inconsistent things are the service. This time, after sitting waiting (with reservations) for 15+ minutes which coupled with the parking lot being tied-up by the adjacent bar and my street meter ticking away, finally got service and very, very good from that point on. But we were signaling for a server as if we were trying to land an airplane only to be ignored. Again, once we saw our person, it was great.
Awesome again.
Great pizza and friendly staff. Only complaint is that it was so noisy you could barely carry on a conversation.
Always a good bet, this restaurant has, I think, the best pizzas in town. I'm not a huge fan of thin-crusted pizzas, but something about that coal-fired oven makes the pizzas here amazingly delicious. Try the margarita with pepperoni and the Del Re pizzas - you can't go wrong.
We had the Sicilia pizza and lemonchello wings. Both were excellent!
